My wife and I are pretty serious about music, and knew that it would be a critical piece of our wedding experience. Mixology exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Kelly was extremely professional, responsive, and flexible leading up to the big day, and they were able to accommodate all of our requests (specific songs for the ceremony + parents dances, setting up our friends with equipment to sing our first dance song, adding a saxophone, etc.) Mixology provided piano + PA equipment for the ceremony, jazz during cocktail hour, as well as music during dinner and dancing. Each piece went off without a hitch, and they clearly paid attention to the small things - for example, my now wife and I's sweetheart table was directly in front of the band during dinner, looking out at the rest of the tables, and they managed to nail the sounds setup / levels such that we could hear their (beautiful) playing during dinner while still easily being able to have a conversation at our table. Throughout the whole night I was generally super impressed with their sound setup and design - it consistently provided wonderful vibes (beautiful but not overpowering during cocktail hour and dinner, and rocking during dancing). The dancing portion of the evening was superb - we provided them with some general guidance (style of music we like, a few songs we didn't want to hear) and they crushed it - a perfect blend of new and old songs that had the whole (multigenerational) crowd on the dance floor all night. Lindsay has a wonderful, versatile voice, and every member of the band is clearly extremely talented. We've heard nothing but rave reviews from all our attendees. One last note - Mixology was very reasonably priced compared to many of the other similar-sized bands we looked at hiring for our wedding, but in no way did the product reflect any compromise on quality. While I hope to only get married the one time, 10/10 would hire Mixology again - cannot recommend them enough!

They were so easy to work with, showed up on time, even brought battery packs for the ceremony which was not near any outlets. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and complimented the band! Highly recommend!

I want a 2nd wedding just to experience Kelly, Lindsey and the rest of the Mixology band’s magic! I dreamed of having a female lead and this is what initially drew me to Mixology. From the initial responsiveness from Kelly to how the band learned a new song that was a family wedding tradition, I couldn’t have asked or wanted for a more accommodating experience. They know how to read a room and DELIVER! I didn’t have to make suggestions or requests and even the non-dancers made it out to the dance floor. Did I mention we had a venue change? Even swap without hesitation or price change. Trust me: book Mixology..

Mixology was wonderful! Our crew danced all night! Kelly was kind and communicative throughout the planning process. The band even learned a couple of songs that we requested them to play for the reception and for our ceremony. Jazz during cocktail hour was a big hit, too! Easy to work with and great performers. Highly recommend!

Anytime I would email Kelly with a question or a request, he had already thought of it all and had perfect plans and options in place to execute. We had a few special requests and Kelly offered great suggestions for how to make it all happen. From welcome drinks, to the ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing, the music made the evening so special.

I truly wish we could do it all over again! We really feel so lucky we were able to work with Mixology and couldn't recommend them enough.

Mixology performed at our wedding last weekend and we couldn't have chosen a better band. The ceremony piano and cocktail hour jazz ensemble were the perfect blend of fun and classy. They sounded amazing, played a great setlist based on our preferences, and our guests couldn't stop coming up to tell me how great the band was. I want to have another wedding just to book them again!

Working with Kelly and the Mixology crew was an absolute dream! They were so professional and had so many helpful suggestions when it came to the music throughout the day. Mixology provided a classy jazz trio for cocktail hour, a beautiful pianist for the ceremony, and the most fun dance floor for the reception! They kept the party going! The only thing I regret is not spending more time on the dance floor!!

Having good music was something that was especially important to us when planning our wedding, but Kelly, Lindsay, and the rest of the band absolutely blew all of our expectations out of the water when we heard them on our wedding day.

Kelly was so easy, kind, and responsive to work with throughout the entire planning process and made it as stress free as it could have been for us. When we realized literally a week before the wedding that we had no plan for ceremony music/AV, he made it happen, setting up piano, sound, and even what our family members needed to play a song for the ceremony without missing a beat. The music was seamless and continuous throughout the entire day, from piano at the ceremony to jazz at cocktail hour to the reception music.

And the reception music!!! This band is SO GOOD. They learned three songs for us for our first dances (and one was bluegrass-y, one was jazzy, so entirely different genres) which they crushed. Then came the dance floor - everyone kept raving to us about how good our band was. Were we at a concert or a wedding?! It was hard to tell, in the best way possible. Lindsay's voice is so gorgeous, and the band kept literally all of our guests on the dance floor the entire night. We had so much fun.

So truly, if you are looking into bands for your wedding, stop looking right now and book Mixology. You seriously won't regret it - this was one of the best decisions we made when we planned our big day!

Mixology was the band for our wedding in Maine on 9/14/25, and we had such a great experience! The band had everyone dancing and singing along. I had multiple guests mention how much they liked the band and the music. They were easygoing, flexible, professional, and a lot of fun!

My wife and I knew we wanted a band for our wedding, but we were originally concerned about the cost. Mixology’s pricing was very reasonable even when compared with a DJ, not to mention, they handled the music and mic/PA needs for our entire wedding. Beautiful ceremony music was covered by Kelly, the pianist. We were able to choose songs we wanted him to play for the processional/recessional/etc and he adapted everything to fit the ceremony vibe. He also set up a mic for the officiants and us for the ceremony. Once the ceremony wrapped up, it was right into a jazz trio for cocktail hour. It was a great time for guests mingling.

We started our reception with dinner, and the full band was ready to go with dinner music. It wasn’t too loud or overpowering, so guests could talk, but the music was great for anyone who wanted to listen. We moved into our first dance with the band playing a flawless rendition of the Stevie Wonder song we chose. From there, we told them we just wanted people up and dancing, and they delivered! I think we had all 115 people on the dance floor at one point!

I can’t recommend Mixology enough! They were very flexible and ready to adapt to anything we asked for, but they were also incredibly professional, and any decisions we didn’t want to make, they took care of.

The band leader, Kelly, was super responsive, organized, and thoughtful throughout the planning stages. They also setup the sound system for our ceremony, played our ceremony songs, and played during our cocktail hour - everything went so smoothly. I wish we could get married all over again just to use Mixology's services again. 10/10 recommend them!!!!
