They provided plenty of helpful information each step of the way, communicated promptly, and was easy to get in contact with if we had any questions. Jodi’s photography skills and work is beyond incredible! Jodi’s many years of experience, personality, and passion will shine at your photoshoot! She is so easy to work with and brings your visions alive on camera!!! She is very good at giving advice and suggestions of poses and different looks you can model with, and also is so sweet and very kind. She will make you feel so comfortable and you will LOVE being around her! Also… her assistant Emily is very professional, fast communication, and is very kind. We are beyond thrilled that we chose Jodi/Millyard Studios as our wedding photographer! From the very first consultation to the final delivery of our album, Jodi was nothing short of amazing. As a couple, we were a bit nervous about being in front of the camera, but Jodi made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the start. She took the time to understand our vision and style, and it showed in every shot.

The day of the wedding, Jodi was professional, organized, and made the whole experience fun. She brings such a sense of humor and genuine positivity, and it was a joy to have her around capturing our special moments. She did a great job getting all of the shots we wanted - including some with our extended family which were not easy to organize! - while also remaining unobtrusive and not making us feel “over-managed.”

One of the things we loved most was the ability to relive the emotion of the day through the photos. She captured the essence of the day and provided us with gorgeous photos that honestly feel like something out of a magazine - while still being genuine and capturing our style as a couple. She captured every special moment - from our first look to our ceremony to our first dance and more. She is also fantastic at night photography! Which was really important to us since our wedding was in November and the sun set when our ceremony began. All of those photos are perfectly lit and beautiful.

Jodi is such an amazing and talented photographer, and the entire team at Millyard Studios were a joy to work with! Wedding photos are one of the most special parts of your day you get to keep forever, and she blew us away with how incredible they were. Her 2nd photographer Nicole was just as amazing, capturing every single moment and in such a beautiful and creative way. From the moment we met Jodi we knew instantly she would be a perfect fit. Her bubbly personality made us feel like we've been friends for years! She made us feel so comfortable during out photo sessions and kept us laughing. We got married on an Island on a lake she has never been to and she agreed with no hesitation and excitement in her eyes! We didn't have a wedding planner, and Jodi helped us put together a timeline of the entire day which was extremely helpful for us. When she showed up on our wedding day i instantly felt relaxed as i knew she would keep things going and she did! Lizzie was also such a joy to work with, she helped us pick our our photos for our album and was extremely responsive! My husband and I worked with Jodi at Millyard Studios for our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be happier with all her work! From our first Zoom call with her, she was very personable and easy to talk to. We are not people who love having our pictures taken, but Jodi truly made the experience very comfortable for us. My biggest worry was getting pictures back that wouldn’t look natural, but Jodi’s photographs couldn’t look more natural or beautiful! Jodi and her team were incredibly organized leading up to our big day and I ended up using the timeline she and I constructed together to make my entire day of schedule which was super helpful! Day of, Jodi continued to impress us. She really knows her craft and how to direct and give helpful feedback. I had an unfortunate mishap with my dress an hour before I was set to walk down the aisle, and Jodi couldn’t have been more helpful with figuring out what to do…she was even going to sew my dress at one point! She really went above and beyond what we expected! You simply won’t find a better photographer for your big day than Jodi and the whole team at Millyard!

I truly mean it when I say that I felt so comfortable with her. She was hilarious and was very helpful in telling us what to do, how to pose and more importantly what to do with my hands. I have gotten SO many compliments on my photos.
I Definitely recommend getting an engagement shoot done with her, for someone who's self conscious and not comfortable posing and having photos taken, meeting her before hand and having essentially a "practice run" was so helpful to ease my nerves.

Jodi is the BEST! I have a husband who hates being in front of a camera, and she magically made everything look and feel so natural on film...she kept everything so fun and light throughout our sessions that even the candids are stunning! She helped plan our wedding timeline and kept our family and bridal party on schedule throughout the day. The Millyard team is quick to respond, and our photos were returned to us sooner than I even expected after the wedding. 10/10 would recommend to anyone:)
