Located in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire, The Envio is a modern wedding venue. This elegant property sits near the Piscataqua River, and is attached to AC Hotel Portsmouth Downtown Waterfront. From this third-floor space, you can take in your picturesque surroundings, from the bridges to the ships in the port. This venue welcomes rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions, alongside elopements. Couples are also invited to host pre-wedding gatherings here, including engagement parties and showers.
Facilities and Capacity
With 4,390 square feet of available event space, The Envio can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests. The ballroom can be divided into three smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings. Before beginning the celebrations, guests can mingle in a comfortable pre-function space. This area offers floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace where attendees can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views of the city. Cocktail hours can also be hosted on this terrace, allowing the newlyweds to catch up with their loved ones. The ballroom is outfitted in neutral tones and filled with natural light, lending itself to any decor scheme. A second event space, Marea, is found on the first floor. This smaller banquet hall is designed in similar colors, and also features floor-to-ceiling windows to illuminate the room with sunlight.
Services Offered
Wedding packages at The Envio include the assistance of an experienced event coordinator to help make the process as simple as possible. Guests can also work closely with corporate chef Ken Lingle to design their dream menu. The culinary team is happy to create a custom wedding cake to complete the memorable menu. Couples and their guests can enjoy drinks from an open bar for cocktail hour. In addition, silver Chiavari chairs and customized linens are provided to further elevate the day.
Cuisine
Food at this venue can be served in a variety of ways, from passed hors d'oeuvres to a plated banquet. Special meal choices are provided for younger guests, including cheeseburger sliders, fruit cups, and breaded chicken tenders. Entrees for the other guests include roasted rack of lamb and pan-seared rainbow trout. Food can also be served from stations, whether you want seafood or pasta.
