We had our wedding reception at Portsmouth Harbor Events and were absolutely thrilled with our experience with them. Lauren Lossani was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to work with us and make our day run smoothly. The venue was decorated exactly how we pictured it would be and it was absolutely beautiful.

WOW WOW WOW! The first reason we picked The Envio as our venue was because of Katryn, the Envio's wedding director. Katryn has done 600+ weddings and she is still not sick of them (I had one and I was over the planning LOL). She was SUPER helpful, SUPER organized, SUPER sweet and made all our dreams come true for the most PERFECT wedding. Honestly the worst thing was it went too fast. My favorite thing was seeing everything come together that I planned for a year and a half and that is because Katryn and her team made it look spectacular! Every little detail was so perfect and Katryn smiled with every little nit picky thing I requested. :) The venue speaks for itself, but Katryn made our life and our wedding so easy and beautiful!

There was no better place for us to get married than Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club. When we toured the space, we immediately knew this was the place we would begin our next chapter together. Jimmy’s is unique, you want to explore every nook, and it offers so much. Everyone who works at Jimmy’s is kind, hospitable, and takes pride in the venue. Rachel, our venue coordinator, was very professional, informative, and available for any and every question we had. The food and drinks were gourmet at every occasion from the private tasting, the lunch for the wedding party, cocktail hour, dinner, to late night snacks. The gallery was a spacious place to hold our cocktail hour, offering our guests a variety of lounge furniture and stunning art to admire. The stage and lighting made for some unforgettable entertainment and allowed our wedding band Nightshift to really get the party started. All of our guests came up to us and said this was the coolest place they’d ever been to for a wedding and they wanted to see a show there and all of them were raving about the food. Jimmy’s is warm, inviting, unique, and most importantly, FUN!

Sheraton was great. It was beautiful. The food was great. We did rotating food every hour and it wasn't a problem. Had enjoy bartenders. Everyone was great. Haven't heard a complaint yet.

For anyone looking for a "romantic" intimate and perfect reception!! Massimo and his professional staff attended to our every need while providing 5 star service to our guests! Every ounce of stress that our wedding caused me that day, left the second I walked in to his candle lit, serene and romantic haven!

My husband and I got married on a Saturday, but many hotels in the area that weekend had 2-night minimum stays. We wanted to give our guests somewhere to be on Friday night, but nothing too structured or formal because so many would be traveling in at all hours. We booked the Gas Light because we're big fans of pizza, it has great options for food and beverage packages, and it's right downtown if people want to hang out after. From first contact to the end of Friday night, Kate was extremely helpful in orchestrating the perfect event. The night club space is ideal for open, mingle-y and casual events like ours. 360 bar, tons of comfortable booth-style seating, cocktail tables to lean against, and a separate space where we could put our guest book (a quilt my husband's aunt made) and all the food. I woefully underestimated how much our guests would eat before the pizza came out, and then the ovens weren't ready so there was a period where no food was available, but Kate and her bartenders were absolutely on top of it and once pizza was ready they kept it coming until everyone had some, so it all worked out in the end! There are screens and a projector if you have AV elements to your event, but we chose to keep it simple with just a welcome message. We were also able to plug in our own music and brought our own decorations. Kate was there to make sure everything went smoothly, especially during clean-up and the transition to night club (which I truly barely noticed). The bartenders were all extremely friendly and helpful too! It was the perfect place to kick off our wedding weekend in downtown Portsmouth.

The Hamilton House was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony! We chose to have a micro wedding, and the garden setting in August couldn’t have been more ideal. The intimate scale of our wedding fit seamlessly into the garden’s natural beauty, creating a romantic setting that felt both personal and picturesque. The Langdon House provided a stunning historic backdrop that elevated the entire experience. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty with classic New England charm, The Hamilton House is truly a gem.

The Jarvis Center is a large function hall behind a Greek church in Portsmouth. We were married at Rye Beach, and then had transportation take our guests to The Jarvis Center. John and his wife, the managers, were wonderful. We booked the place without ever seeing it because it was very affordable. Our caterer loved their full commercial kitchen with walk ins. The dance floor was huge, the biggest in New England, they claim. And the entire night, nobody left it. We were able to turn this large hall room into a magical beachy wedding reception venue for the most perfect night. John and his wife are very flexible. They met us whenever we wanted to see the Center and they allowed my family and friends to be in there all Friday before the wedding to decorate. The cash bar ran very smoothly and drinks were very generously priced. I would definitely recommend the Jarvis Center to anyone looking to host anywhere from 150-200 guests. It was perfect!

My now wife and I had dined there a few months before we got engaged, and then, while living in Arizona, thought it would be the perfect place to have our reception. Let me tell you this. It did not disappoint. Not even close. We had a small private room just to the left of the reception area, near the deck. The bartenders, phenomenal. I mean, they kept the drinks flowing, their friendly demeanor was amazing. The food, top notch. We decided to do a heavy appetizer menu for our guests and everything was simply superb. We had sliders, 3 different types of fries, chicken fingers, honestly it was our dream meal. We had such a fabulous time. They even opened the lower deck so we could go down and take some pictures for the wedding. I mean, I love the place. It is now my favorite restaurant in Portsmouth. I will forever go back when I'm in town, just to experience the food, and the amazing atmosphere. I really really enjoyed it. The staff, the food, all top notch. This was a place and day I'll remember forever. Thanks so much, we really love you guys!

We got married 6/8/24. Truly the perfect wedding venue and experience we could have ever hoped and dreamed of. The whole day was absolutely perfect and Brielle was an angel. Brielle and all of the staff were amazing to work with and really made all of our visions and dreams come to life on our wedding day. The food was fantastic, all of our guests continue to talk about the food and drinks provided by Cisco. From start to finish the planning process was seamless thanks to the staff. Brielle was so accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning and really helped us outline the day perfectly. The staff also provided the most beautiful set up for the ceremony and reception, and were so helpful with clean up and breakdown of the venue. I really cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. It was the most amazing night of our lives thanks to Cisco!
