Based out of Traverse City, Michigan, Mike Davis Trio offers jazz and classical music for wedding events. This ensemble consists of three professional musicians providing their flute, vocals, cello, bass, and piano talents for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. With a music library that spans several decades and genres, the Mike Davis Trio can play the soundtrack to your love story on your wedding day.

Experience

Mike Davis earned his bachelor's degree in music from Ball State University. For over three decades he has had the honor of playing flute, saxophone and vocals on many special occasions. His expertise extends to founding the Northwestern College Jazz Ensemble. Steve Stargardt, a pianist, earned his degrees in music performance from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. His experience includes playing with Mike Davis for over 30 years, along with other area musicians. Offering his cello and bass talent with the Mike Davis Trio is Andy Evans. Following his graduation from Michigan State University, Andy spent eight years in Nashville playing with groups, such as The 5th Dimension and Salsa en Nashville. His background also includes time as orchestra director in the Metro Nashville Public Schools along with choir director with Kingsley Public Schools.
