In our initial consultation, Mike and Heather took the time to get to know us and to understand the look we were going for with our wedding photos. They are a laid back couple local to Charlotte, and they are super easy to work with. The pricing is fair, and they offer several different packages to ensure that you only pay for what you need.
On the wedding day, Mike and Heather both arrived on time and ready to go. They, along with our coordinator, kept us on time without being intrusive or overbearing, as we'd heard many photographers can be.
We felt completely at ease and relaxed. All of the "poses" and staged photos felt completely natural- not forced or awkward. We've received the initial sample photos, and they are absolutely stunning. The candid shots that we've seen are fun and unique, and they really captured the energy and excitement of the evening.

Luminous Photography, Mike and his wife provided us with creative ideas and excellent direction for poses and backgrounds that resulted in stunning photographs. The originality and eye for detail, knowledge of best lighting is demonstrated by their artistry. They also are experts at organization and bringing calmness when things get hectic for bride and groom. Their flexibility to attend various events during the wedding ceremony and reception allowed us to have the entire event captured in photographs. We had so many great pictures to choose from it was hard to select the favorites for our album. The selection process and the making of the album is a very easy process to maneuver as well.
