Luminous Photography are incredible to work with, and we strongly recommend them!
In our initial consultation, Mike and Heather took the time to get to know us and to understand the look we were going for with our wedding photos. They are a laid back couple local to Charlotte, and they are super easy to work with. The pricing is fair, and they offer several different packages to ensure that you only pay for what you need.
On the wedding day, Mike and Heather both arrived on time and ready to go. They, along with our coordinator, kept us on time without being intrusive or overbearing, as we'd heard many photographers can be.
We felt completely at ease and relaxed. All of the "poses" and staged photos felt completely natural- not forced or awkward. We've received the initial sample photos, and they are absolutely stunning. The candid shots that we've seen are fun and unique, and they really captured the energy and excitement of the evening.
If you are planning a wedding in Charlotte, you can't go wrong with Luminous Photography! -

Thankful we booked Michael & Heather for our wedding photography! Best decision ever!
After seeing our friends photos from their wedding we knew we had to have Michael & Heather capture our big day. From start to finish we were met with professionalism, friendliness & confidence. We were married at the courthouse and did a mini session with Mike & Heather before marrying. We both felt extremely comfortable in their presence and their ideas for poses. Their directions were very helpful and everything felt incredibly natural. Our photos are absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend working with them! -

Just WOW. Mike and Heather were timely professional and on the ball! They worked with us to meet our slightly different taste in photos and they delivered. Mike and Heather did such a fabulous job of capturing our special day! Since we are an older couple on our second marriages, it was not important to us to have all the traditional wedding shots. We asked them to capture the celebration and they did not disappoint. Hire them! You won't regret it! -

Mike and Heather were great! They both photographed the proposal, which gave us two perspectives of the moment! They were very helpful with coordinating with the venue and making sure the location looked great when we arrived. We are very happy with how the photos turned out! -

Passionate, Detail Oriented, Tech-Savvy & Creative
Mike and Heather were an absolute joy to work with! Mike assisted us with so much more than just photography. We set up timelines and created organization out of the pure chaos that comes with having a wedding during a pandemic. Our venue owners raved on his professionalism and attention to detail. Doing this for as long as they have, they had never worked with such a detail oriented photographer before Mike & Heather! His photos were truly unique and the techy gadgets he used to create photos that were unique blew our minds! I had no idea you could track star alignments and cloud coverage relative to a specific spot and time! Mike and Heather were truly wonderful and indulged all our of creative sparks. -
