The goal of Mikaela King Photography is to showcase those raw and candid moments through a photojournalistic style and through a use of natural light. They prefer to shoot in different outside settings rather than having you cooped up in a studio, traveling all around Maine to beautiful locations such as Bar and Boothbay Harbor. They will work closely with you and customize a package that suits your specific needs, making sure that they give you photos that you can look back on 25 years down the road. Couldn't recommend more!
Mikaela was such a fantastic addition to our day. We had a last minute backyard wedding due to COVID. Mikaela gave wonderful advice and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Mikaela made our backyard look like a secret garden, I'm not sure how she captured such STUNNING photos. The amount of people I had come up to me (even my very Mainer uncles) and said how awesome Mikaela was. She is not only an incredible artist, but just a wonderful person to have at your special event. We love her!!!

Alex and Rinaldo’s Maine Fall Wedding
Mikaela is a true professional who will make you feel comfortable, cared for, and beautiful. She is prompt, friendly (truly a hilarious and down to earth personality, and talented. Dynamic Duo
We hired Mikaela and her sister Michelle for our wedding in Boothbay Harbor, Maine this past July. We booked Mikaela for an engagement session and 8 hours for our wedding day. Everything about our experience with Mikaela and her sister was INCREDIBLE. If you are looking for the biggest hype team to make you feel gorgeous and confident you need to hire them! They were so sweet, they listened to us, and most importantly they captured the moments that meant the most to us. The photos came out gorgeous and I am so excited that a friend of mine that attended our wedding hired Mikaela for her wedding in September 2020!

Mikaela is by far the most amazing person I have every worked with!! Her talent is obviously through the roof, but omg her personality wow... she made my hubby and I feel so comfortable with everything at our engagement shoot... and then made our entire bridal party feel comfortable at the wedding too! we love Mikaela! promise that she wont disappoint

Amazing pictures! Nicest Photographer :)
Mikaela was so amazing throughout our whole engagement and wedding process! We were completely fogged out for our first engagement session and although we got a few good pictures she immediately offered another session and was so flexible with scheduling it quickly!
Her and her sister were so helpful directing people and poses during our wedding, everyone felt so comfortable. She also gave us a sneak peek of 95 pictures from the wedding within 3 days which was so amazing to have right away.
They were so positive and easy going the whole day and the pictures have come out so amazing thus far! We only got married a week ago so we cannot wait to see all the pictures to come :)
