Incredible Wedding Photographer
Rainy day photo perfection!
On the day of the wedding we had a lot of rain but Liz knew how to make the most of it. She found the perfect indoor spots for beautiful photos and even toughed out the rain with us for a while. The photos in the rain came out magical, we love them so much, and have received so many compliments on them.
Overall, we would recommend Liz time and time again. She is not only a great photographer but she is a kind person who is easy to talk to and wonderful to work with. She has not only done our wedding, but two other weddings in our family, which says a lot about how highly we recommend her.

Wonderful Experience Working with Elizabeth Ivy Photography
Absolute Perfection
We had a unique situation and unfortunately Liz was sick during our elopement. However, she took care of everything and our wedding was absolute perfection.
Liz met with us several times leading up to the day, easing our worries and answering all our questions - we’re from Florida and had never been to Maine (we picked the spot off of some pictures from Pinterest one random late night). When we found out she would not be able to shoot our wedding, we were devastated and nervous, but we honestly had nothing to worry about. Liz completely mapped out our day, pictures and maps, little suggestions for photo opportunities and got another awesome photographer to cover for her. Liz has extremely high standards and amazing taste! She found someone that could shoot like her and worked with him to give us an incredible day. Liz was also going to be our officiant, and so she found an awesome replacement. Everyone was so friendly and made the day so wonderful.
After the wedding was done and we were finally home we met with Liz to get our final edited photos. She was so quick with it and the final edits and album experience was breathtaking. The colors popped and she made what was an already beautiful experience even more lovely.
We highly recommend Liz, she’s incredible and without her help, I just don’t think the day would have been as memorable. Having never been to Maine or Acadia National Park we relied heavily on her past experience and the knowledge she had. In the words of my dad, “each place was prettier than the last.” We would not change a thing about our special day, it was absolute perfection.
Simply the Best
Those may have been the words heard by our guests as Andrew and I walked down the aisle. But more importantly, it only begins to describe the appreciation and good fortune we have in finding and hiring Liz to be our wedding photographer.
Neither Andrew and I are necessarily drivers of our own attention, and coming up with a plan for how to have our photos shot wasn’t easy! However, from our first virtual meeting, Liz knew how to make us comfortable so that we could be ourselves around her and her camera. We were drawn to her warm smile, ability to capture unique moments, and bring the atmosphere of the surroundings into each photo.
Liz is an organized, cool, and calm companion that you’ll love having at your side. Her confidence and organization ensured that of all the logistics, finalizing details for photography were the last thing we needed to worry about. Indeed, on the day of the wedding, as the stage was set for “first looks” (HIGHLY recommend, even if you’re skeptical), seeing Liz’s warm glow and smile just helped set a tone for how special that day can be for a couple. From then on, we let her lead the way, and we were overwhelmed with gratitude for her steady hand, sharp eye, and ability to get the right shot.
We were excited to receive our photos, but we didn’t expect how a photo could so easily bring us back to that special day. A slight tease of the photos came the day after the wedding, which was so fun. But the delivery of the photos came with us all seeing them together for the first time over a zoom meeting, which only showed how much she truly cares and takes pride in her work. Now, the difficult part…choosing photos for print!
