I didn't give photography a single thought during my wedding, which is exactly how it should be.

Before the wedding, Max and Mikayla's portal of questions helped me feel confident that they were going into the day with a plan I would be happy with.

On the day of, Max and Mikayla were the ones to gather our families for photos so that I didn't have to, and when they could tell that some of our family members' lack of preparedness/cooperation was stressing me out, they would tell me to throw it out of my mind and let them deal with it. I appreciated that I could trust them to manage our friends and family with professionalism and efficiency. We ended up staying exactly on schedule.

During formal photos, Max and Mikayla were fantastic at not leaving a hair out of place. They directed poses with energy and reminded everyone to check their posture and smile with kindness. I loved how they were able to make everyone feel comfortable but also make sure everyone still looked their best!

During the ceremony, our ceremony room was very tight and compact, but Mikayla was sneaky! Of course, I was more focused on my then-fiance, but when we got some of our photos back, she had captured beautiful, intimate shots in places I didn't even notice she was so nearby for. It was great to feel like I could enjoy my ceremony without it feeling like a photo shoot but still capturing the sweet moments!

During the reception, Max and Mikayla were truly a part of the party. They included my friends and family in taking fun photos and captured the joy of our celebration. Toward the end of the night, Mikayla gave me a sneak peek of some of her shots from the ceremony, and I sincerely ran around my reception showing everyone. I was ecstatic with how beautiful the composition and lighting of the pictures were and how brilliantly they captured the feeling I hoped my wedding would have.

TLDR:
Max and Mikayla made my friends and family feel comfortable in front of the camera while doing everything they could to alleviate all my stress regarding pictures. They were able to get intimate shots without ever feeling invasive to the festivities or special, private moments. Their skillful direction and composition resulted in pictures that captured the joy and love of my wedding far beyond my expectations. I am grateful to have had them there.

From the start we knew we wanted them as photographers. We just loved their personality and professionalism all at the same time. Their communication for both our engagement photos and our day of put me at ease so much. Our engagement photos that we absolutely adored!

We got sneak peak photos the day or our wedding! Literally they air dropped them to my husband's phone during the reception and they were beautiful 😍
As for the rest of the photos, I literally cannot stop looking at them! They are all amazing and we are so happy with all of them. I wish I could tell every couple looking for photographers to go with them.

Where do I even begin!!! From the moment meeting Mikayla and Max we were at ease with knowing we had made the right decision in hiring them!

In most (actually all I believe?) of their packages they include an engagement session which was so helpful and so much fun. Both my husband and myself are not comfortable taking pictures and when I read their reviews I found a common theme based around the fact that the couple makes this so easy and it is 100% the truth. They are such a fun loving couple you just feel like you are hanging out with friends. On the day of the wedding my schedule was a little off as most brides can agree happen and seeing the two of them did not give me anxiety but reassurance that they were going to take charge and everything would go as planned and in the end we had MORE TIME they are both so amazing I can not stress enough how genuine this couple is !

We have already made plans to book another shoot with them and in the future I hope for maternity shoots and family pictures ! They are amazing and so well priced please book them

From our first virtual meet and greet with Mik & Max we knew that they would be a perfect fit for our wedding. My wife and I had a Star Wars themed wedding and we wanted to hire a photographer who not only had a passion for their craft, but were also passionate about capturing all the incredible details of our big day and Mik & Max did not disappoint.

Leading up to the big day we had multiple calls with them and they were very responsive and receptive to new ideas and changes we presented to them. On the day itself, they worked together seamlessly to make all of our pictures happen quickly and smoothly. At the end of the night, we were surprised to be given a handful of photos of our pre-ceremony pictures to browse through. It was wonderful to be able to go back through those pictures the night of the wedding and be able to relive some of those incredible moments. I am definitely much more camera shy and I felt super awkward about working with any photographer but Mik and Max made that all melt away. The pictures turned out amazing and I didn’t feel weird at all during the process. We loved working with them.
