Mark and my big sister actually attended the same high school in San Jose, Costa Rica, and also the same University. We lived literally 3 blocks away in Costa Rica - fast forward nearly 2 decades, to my pleasant surprise Mark & his wife Tammy are wedding photographers capturing love from the Bay Area and beyond [South America to Asia!] I always admired Husband + Wife wedding photographers because of the synergy and dynamic that is unique to them, but together they combine their strengths and passion in order to produce a strong collective work for each client. I had the pleasure to work with Mark + Tammy for a beautiful bridal editorial at Kohl Mansion, and I cannot be more pleased with the results of our teamwork! During the shoot, we encountered a lot of unexpected challenges, but despite the odds stacked up against us, Mark + Tammy delivered show-stopping images in a short amount of time that myself and the participating vendors were looking for! It was also great to have the opportunity to watch them in action at the photo shoot - Tammy is climbing, flat on the floor, moving like a ninja to make sure to get the best angle. Mark scouts for the composition, and make sure to get the best lines and shapes in each frame. They are quick on their feet, and they make the shots happen very organically.
