Melissa was amazing! I had never hired a photographer and I cannot say enough great things about her. She made us feel so comfortable like it was one of our close friends taking the pictures! We got the pictures back quickly and I’m in love with her work! I found her on wedding wire because I don’t live in Maine and I’m so happy I chose her. I would travel back up to Maine just to have her do our photos again.

Melissa was so great! She did both our engagement and wedding photos. She was so professional and also made us feel so comfortable, even when we felt super awkward getting our picture taken! She was always quick to respond to emails, super organized, reasonably priced, and of course takes beautiful photos! We are so excited to see the rest of our wedding pictures in a few weeks!!

We already loved Melissa just from our email and phone correspondence - meeting her in real life just further cemented our satisfaction with our photographer choice. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES being a photographer, her enthusiasm for us and our big day was heart-warming and her attention to detail and extensive planning process ensured we got a zillion fabulous photos and then some. She sends questionnaires in the beginning to determine the style you are going for in your photos, then again a month before the big day so she knows everything she needs to know, like who's divorced, who's deceased, how to pronounce your family member's names, etc this attention to detail is not just comforting and sweet it is incredibly professional. She had never shot a wedding at our venue so she went out of her way to visit and determine the best spots for the best light and backgrounds. She convinced our wedding party to climb a rocky hill and sort-of-kind-of break into a garage for what are some of the most amazing photos ever. Her website is easy to navigate and her rates are reasonable for the area with package levels for various budgets. We already talk about how someday we will go visit her for family photos with our future children! Looking for a wedding photographer (not just Maine - she travels!), stop looking and call Melissa!
