I can’t tell you how different my big day would have been without Melissa. I had absolutely no stress in the week leading up to the wedding because Melissa was taking care of everything behind the scenes. When my groom ended up with my shoes, I was able to get them back without putting one of my bridesmaids to work. The day of our wedding was also deceivingly muddy, and my dress was a hot mess after taking first look photos. Melissa was on the ground with Jenna cleaning my dress (for at least 30 mins!!!!!). Everyone was so impressed with the job they did, even my photographer was blown away. They had supplies that I forgot to bring myself (such as a sharpie for the guestbook) and made sure that I was being taken care of. My attendants were able to enjoy the day without feeling like the were working an event, and I am so so so happy that we had both Melissa and Jenna there.

Melissa is wonderful! We utilized her wedding coordination services for our 50 person wedding in May. From the start, Melissa was kind and competent, and gave us the reassurance we needed that details would be handled on the big day! She and her teammate Jenna made it all happen – from picking up our florals to directing the bus driver to our venue, and even helping with niece/nephew potty emergencies! They were our go-to’s but honestly made it so we did not need to think about logistics and instead could enjoy the festivities! Look no further...Melissa's your girl!

I don't know what I would have done without Jenna and her Day of Coordination magic! Our wedding reception had a lot of moving pieces (since we didn't have a catering team), but Jenna just rolled with it. Jenna and her team made sure that every little detail was carefully arranged and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. She also provided great ideas and suggestions which we easily incorporated into our day. I am 100% sure that her work is what made the day so great!

I am so glad I found Melissa Marie Events, they helped make my wedding perfect!! Melissa knee from the beginning which services would best fit my needs and we went with it. Melissa and her assistant Jenna set up everything at the venue as well as breakdown, they made sure the right items went with the right people. They provided plenty of vendor recommendations as well as helped us put our ceremony together at the rehearsal so everyone knew their role and to make it run smoothly. They kept on right on schedule, never missed a beat. I would highly recommend them. My wedding was perfect!

Some of our friends and family told us that one of the best decisions they made for their weddings was hiring a planner. My husband and I have both planned large scale events but we work a lot and had many commitments so, finding the right planner seemed like a terrific idea. Once we met Melissa, we knew that she would be wonderful to work with. She loves what she does and spent a lot of time getting to know us. Anytime we asked a question, she was quick to respond, and she gently kept us on track throughout planning (which we needed). When we were looking for vendors, she did a lot of research based on what we were looking for and really made sure to get it right. We loved all of our vendors and we made almost all of those connections through Melissa. Whenever we needed advice or ideas she was there for us. During our wedding weekend, we felt like we were with a friend. One of our goals was to really be stress free day of and I can confidently say that I was able to relax and be in the moment because of Melissa. Hire her as fast as you can!!!

Melissa provided Day Of Coordination services for our wedding day, and we could not have been happier with the service she provided. Melissa was always two steps ahead of me and made it so we didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day and could simply enjoy every moment. Melissa, Jenna, and Bri were amazing! They took care of all the little things I was stressed about and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. I could not imagine what the wedding would have been like without all their help and presence throughout the day, from dealing with shuttles to and from the venue, to fixing my grandmother's dress, they were on top of everything, making sure any hiccups along the way were addressed asap. Their lists and planning advice helped us make sure we didn't forget anything throughout the planning process as well!

Melissa was fantastic! She was very responsive and very flexible with meetings prior to the wedding. I think of myself as fairly organized and I love to plan, and I felt like Melissa took that into account and never did I feel like vendors or ideas were pushed onto me; Melissa simply aided in making the whole day go off perfectly smoothly. It is impossible for me to express how crucial it was to have Melissa as a day-of-coordinator.

Aside from paying for our marriage license, hiring Melissa was the single best use of our wedding funds.

At 5pm, the day before our outdoor autumn wedding in Michigan, it was 40 degrees and raining. My husband and I made the decision to change the venue of our ceremony. Melissa was the glue that held the day together and allowed me to actually be relaxed for the entirety of my wedding. I did not have to worry about where any of the key people were or if a vendor had showed up at the correct location or set up anything at the reception hall or ceremony site, because Melissa and her assistant did all of those things, including running back and forth between our reception hall and the (CHANGED THE DAY BEFORE) new ceremony location in order to make sure everything was in the right place at the right time.

My husband's comment, every time we have discussed the vendors from our wedding, is that he is amazed that every single time he saw Melissa, she had a genuine smile on her face - that she looked pleased to be doing what she was doing.
