Andrew and Melanie helped make our wedding day perfect! Everything went so smooth and timely, and they were a great duo. They do a great job with being efficient and getting photos in all the great spots. We really enjoyed having them be a part of our wedding day!

Andrew & Melanie captured every moment of our daughters wedding perfectly! From getting ready to the send off they were right there to get every important detail. They work great as a team to get twice the pictures in half the time. Melanie was catching all of the moments with the bride, bridesmaids & mother & father of the bride before the wedding while Andrew was with the groom, groomsmen & groom's family doing the same. They didn't miss a thing. They moved quickly as to keep the party going while getting all of the great pictures that we wanted. We all enjoyed watching the beautiful slideshow of pictures that they paired with music. It was SO good & so much fun to watch. They did a beautiful job!

Okay, so Andrew and Melanie are the dream photography duo for a wedding. We were just married 10/1/21 at Squaw (now Palisades) and they did not disappoint!!!! We met virtually with a couple different wedding photographers before deciding and ultimately went with Andrew and Melanie because we felt like we wanted to actually hang out with them on our wedding day (and of course liked previous examples of their work). We did a great bonus engagement photo session which was part of our contract and we knew we made the right choice! Before the wedding, we answered their detailed questionnaire and met with them to go over all the logistics. On wedding day, they arrived right on time and Melanie initially went to where the girls were getting ready and Andy headed to the guys. They both give great direction so if you typically feel awkward getting your picture taken, you won’t! They know just what to do so you look great, but natural and like yourself. We took pictures before and after the ceremony with different groups and Andrew & Melanie were an organized dream calling out names and getting the groups together that we had previously discussed. There are so many other good things to say about these two but I’ll wrap it up with a few last notes -
1) We wanted our wedding guests off their phones, but of course people are still inclined to pull out their phone to take a picture to post right away. Whenever we were taking a photo with a guest using a phone one of them was over to us a right away to take a real picture, which we really appreciated.
2) Andy was right up in the action on the dance floor getting great shots which was amazing because we wanted our reception to primarily be a big dance party.
3) At one point we were taking a couple photos and Andy was on the ground in the brush in front of us and Melanie was on the ground in the brush behind us holding a light for him. These two will do anything for a great shot!

Can’t recommend them enough!!!! They are so fun, have such a cute banter with each other which keeps the vibes good, and most importantly they come prepared!!

Andrew and Melanie did a wonderful job photographing our wedding. Not only did they capture great moments, but they also helped us figure out where we were going to elope (We were a 2020 wedding). We loved where they shot our engagement photos, so we had the idea to go back to that spot and get married on a hiking trail. Andrew and Melanie helped us coordinate this and even had their helper (I think daughter) go and tell people to hike around a certain place so they wouldn't walk in front of the wedding. Andrew was also very calming, and even though I was late, he told me my husband to be was doing just fine and very excited. They are great artists and great people!

We loved, loved, loved working with Andrew and Melanie. They were so professional, and helped us think through what we wanted and needed, and not only played the role of photographer, but also helped move things along at the wedding itself, pitching in whenever something needed to be done. But more important than any of that: their photos are BEAUTIFUL. I cannot emphasize enough that this is a priceless gift you are giving yourself. We did not spend a lot on our wedding--it was a very small, Covid, backyard wedding. We cooked all our food and did everything ourselves. The one thing we knew we wanted a real professional to do was the photography, and I am SO HAPPY we did that. There is no comparison between a high quality photographer and a so-so one. A photo is NOT just a photo. These people are artists, and I will forever be grateful for their amazing work and commitment. It's your wedding. It matters. These people will not let you down.

We cannot say enough about working with Andrew and Melanie for our wedding! All of our photos turned out better than we ever could have hoped for. Andy and Melanie were recommended to us by our venue as well as other vendors. After video-chatting with them we immediately liked them! We interviewed a couple other photographers and ultimately decided on them because they were the most professional and people we'd want to "hang out" with on our wedding day.

You may be temped to go with more 'budget friendly' options but I promise you that you will be so glad you chose Andy and Melanie!

Photos were the one thing I did not have to worry about on my big day. They were on time and super organized. Many of our guests commented on how efficient they were during family photos and we were so excited that we got to join our cocktail hour. Sunset photos also went very quick so we did not feel like we missed any of our wedding!

We just got the photos back and are so happy!! They seriously are the best in the the biz and you will not regret booking them.

Andrew and Melanie were everything we hoped for. We planned our Nevada City wedding from Reno, and they made it all so easy, stress-free and FUN. From our engagement shoot, to the wedding, to the photo reveal at their house, they are true professionals. We loved them, our guests loved them, and the pictures turned out amazing.

I really can't say enough good things about these two! The look of their photography is what I would consider classic and polished. It's as if we were all in a studio! They are fun and light-hearted enough to make everyone relax, and look comfortable; while still remaining courteous and professional. Their eye for detail is astounding. We literally had (in my opinion) the best of the best when it came to catering (Christophers Deli-now retired), Dj (Jason Spencer), minister (Personal friend), and photography... We have had numerous compliments on everyone! But, the pictures are really the only tangible thing you have after all that time, planning, and money! At the reveal, when they welcomed almost twenty of us into their home, I cried... I barely cried at the actual wedding! The way they captured the day's events, from pre-beginning to end took my breath away! Moments we didn't even know were happening were timelessly documented! We were married at home and spent all summer cleaning up and getting ready. After months of preparation we still didn't feel like it was enough. They were able to choose angles and areas that transformed our home to look as if we were married at a park.
When we first connected, we opted for their package that included the engagement session. It was a great location, and a fun introduction. The pictures were ready so quick, I was able to get right on save the dates and invites. Also, for my husband's wedding present Melanie and I did a boudoir shoot. To start, I was completely pampered with hair and makeup. What was made of the shoot was an ultra sexy, while still classy and slightly conservative book. It was perfect, and I think in our society we forget how intriguing (aka super-sexy) leaving something to the imagination is. By the time the wedding came, we felt as if we knew them well. I'm sure they get this all the time, but I would definitely call them friends!
All in all this is the most important decision you will have with you wedding! In 10, 20, 50 years this is the one aspect you will have; of one of the most important, life changing days of your adult life. Choose wisely, and choose them!

First and foremost, Andrew and Melanie are amazing people who truly care about their clients. We got to meet and interact with them over the course of the year and when the wedding came it felt like we had another friend that joined the party and was taking candid pictures amongst friends. They always bring positive energy and put everyone at ease and most importantly are amazing at their jobs.

Andrew and Melanie are without a doubt a must book. They surpassed every expectation we could of had. They captured every moment throughout our wedding journey (engagement photos, pre-wedding photos, ceremony, reception) and brought a tear to our eyes when they invited us to do a photo reveal at their home and created a slideshow to let us relive our special day.

Overall, they were the utmost professional and took amazing pictures. You will not find a better price in the industry, and will be lucky to work with this wonderful couple!

My engagement session with Melanie and Andy was amazing! I can't wait to have them photograph my wedding! Our photos are beautiful! Most photography companies consist of a main shooter and a second shooter, with these two it's like having two main shooters, with two different styles that blend perfectly together.
