We had our December wedding at the Miners Foundry, and it was everything we hoped. Kat and crew were very responsive and helpful, and we relied solely on emails and calls with them as we were out-of-towners. The venue was great, everything was clean and in top shape. Thanks Kat!

LOVE this venue. Always responsive and had communication along the way during our entire planning. The venue itself is so beautiful. We are extremely pleased with this venue and would recommend every newly engaged couple to check out this site.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Miner's Foundry Cultural Center. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I am STILL getting comments on how gorgeous and unique the venue was. Kat was friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire process - giving us an initial tour, letting us come visit twice for planning, and answering countless question and e-mails. The thing I loved most about working with this venue was they never micromanaged and were not pushy. They let us do our thing, but they were always available for whatever degree of involvement we wanted. The foundry is gorgeous as is, but there is definitely opportunity to make it your own. Also, I would recommend paying the difference to rent the entire building. I know that everyone wants to have everything in the gorgeous stone hall, but your guests have to wait so long for the room to be changed, and you have so much more space in the great hall. We squeezed just under 250 guests for a ceremony in the stone hall and reception in the great hall. Also, rent the sound equipment - worth it. We had an unforgettable, surreal wedding day at the Foundry, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Miners Foundry is stunning, which means that it does not need much work to be an amazing space. Kat and staff are very sweet, helpful, and flexible. My husband and I loved that we were able to use the decor provided, select our own vendors, and use the space in whatever manner made sense for our celebration. I really cannot recommend Miners Foundry enough. The only caveat is that it does not have AC, so could be toasty in the summer months.

This place was absolutely stunning as our reception site. They were also so flexible and easy to work with. Love this place!!!

The Miners Foundry is a fantastic place. The venue is absolutely beautiful and full of history. We BARELY had to decorate the Stone Hall. Our wedding was on June 20th and the day went great. Kat was phenomenal at helping us get everything planned and the staff on-site for our wedding day were perfect! So helpful and pleasant. You have quite a bit of freedom at the Miners Foundry and the site is setup to hold many sizes of wedding parties. I'd recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to share your special day with those closest to you.

We are currently in the planning stages of our wedding! We booked the Foundry with ease, as Kat is a great communicator and very responsive. She really goes to all lengths to ensure that your questions are answering, she even brings up things you may not have thought about yet. As we go through this process I will keep this review updated, but as of now we have truly enjoyed the experience with the Foundry.

We were married and had our reception in the beautiful Stone Hall. We had about 75 people and there was more than enough room. The staff was super helpful and responsive. So many things were included in the rental of the facility that it was really affordable. I highly recommend the Miners Foundry!

What an incredible venue! The staff at Miners Foundry are lovely to work with, and
the space itself is beautiful and unique on its own. In the stone hall, our guests felt as
if they were transported to a castle. We were overwhelmed with the simple beauty
of our wedding, and the addition of the crackling fire we had in the old stone
fireplace truly made for a perfect ceremony. This is a very special venue, and we
hope more individuals find it for their special day!

After a nearly two-year engagement and one date postponement, we finally got to host our dream wedding at the Miners Foundry!

The venue doesn't need much in terms of decoration, as the stone walls, antique/industrial decor, and touches of modern elegance by way of the way chandeliers and newly-renovated bar area make it beautiful as-is.

Speaking of the bar: booking with the Foundry means you have to go through their bar service, which was convenient, easy, and a great experience. We had an extensive list of wines and beers to choose from, and the hosted cocktails we offered were SO DANG GOOD, we got compliments all night (Frisky Whiskey Lemonade and Champagne Dreams, btw). We did a combination bar meaning we put down a set amount not to be exceeded by the offered beer, wine, and cocktails. We were shocked to have come way under our amount by the end of the night, despite our group having a great time all night.

The venue is also in a great location downtown, only two blocks away from the National Exchange Hotel (where most of our bridal party and family stayed for the weekend), as well as bars and restaurants for the after party. There are also a number of great photo ops from the ivy-covered back wall, to nearby tin backdrops, to the perfectly-lit downtown area.

Only two *minor* hiccups: After having to postpone once, we were eager to get a firm 'OK this is for sure happening' from the venue which we weren't able to get because of the ever-changing State guidance. About a month and a half or two before the big day, the Foundry put out notice that proof of vaccination/negative tests and masks would be mandatory at public events. I was very upset to have read this over social media but after sending emails to our coordinator as well as the venue, we learned that our wedding was a private event so these regulations did not apply. While we would have appreciated clarification directly before this message went out, we understand that the pandemic has made things difficult for everyone.

Overall, we had the best time of our lives after attending many weddings here, and highly recommend it to others.
