We had Med Deli cater our wedding and we could not have been happier! The food was delicious (as always) and Liz, the catering manager, was so friendly and easy to work with. We knew we wanted Med Deli for our wedding and they did not disappoint! Plus, we got to do a wedding menu tasting with Liz which was an absolute feast! The value couldn't be any better - they could easily charge twice as much for the quality and quantity of food! 10/10 would absolutely recommend for anyone in Triangle area looking for a delicious and very easy caterer for their wedding!!

I ordered catering for 30 people for lunch on the day of my wedding. We had falafels, chicken kebobs, Greek salad, hummus, and pita. It was the perfect buffet for pre-wedding time, and the food was delicious as always. The kebobs were juicy, and the falafels were large, soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. They delivered promptly and set up quickly. My experience with the catering management team was also exceptional. I had a certain budget for catering, and Liz Coughlin was kind enough to meet my budget for one time only so that we could afford amazing food for this special event. Thank you, Med Deli, for helping to make my wedding day easy and giving my family and me a delicious pre-wedding lunch!

Food was my top priority for my wedding and Med Deli came through with flying colors. Med Deli was my favorite spot to eat while in grad school at UNC and I was so happy to include them in my special day. When I first contacted them, my husband and I got to go and literally taste every item in the restaurant in order to select what to include for our menu. They worked with us to create a varied menu that appealed to everyone from kids to adults from vegetarians to meat eaters. My favorite items were the lamb kabobs and the fennel and orange salad. The catering staff was attentive and professional and they even helped us box up all the leftovers.

My husband and I picked Med Deli as our future wedding caterer before we were even engaged because it is our favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill. We currently live abroad and I arranged everything without a wedding planner. Everyone was amazing to work with and did a great job of answering my many question via email. Nabil was our catering captain and was an absolute champion - he and the crew helped with moving our chairs from ceremony to reception, bartending services, dinner direction for the buffet, and clean up at the end of the night. My mom couldn't say enough about how helpful they were. The food was excellent (just like we knew it would be!) and our guests were well informed about allergens, etc by the signage. We cannot recommend Med Deli enough!

Med Deli is amazing!! We wanted something unique instead of traditional wedding food--- and that's exactly what we got. They were very reasonably priced, easy to work with, very professional, and absolutely delicious. They also have many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options, which was a huge bonus for us. We had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had! And there was SO MUCH food. We had so much leftover at the end that we were able to donate to a local shelter. I absolutely recommend Mediterranean Deli!

My husband and I are from Chapel Hill, and Med Deli had been one of our favorite restaurants for years. We initially contacted them to cater our rehearsal dinner, but their coordinator was so much more responsive than the reception caterer we had initially chosen, and we knew the food was going to be delicious, so we chose to have them cater the wedding reception instead. Also, the amount of free food we got at the consultation was crazy :)
We had poached salmon, Moroccan chicken, fennel salad, hearts of palm salad, fatayers, hummus, pita, grape leaves, and falafel on the menu. The food was phenomenal, and the wait staff (including the bartender) was great as well. They took care of everything, including saving my husband and I some food, setting up the bar, and setting up and cleaning up our plate/utensil/glasses rentals (we rented those from our tent rental company, though Med Deli offered dinnerware rentals as well). All in all the best value we could've imagined from a caterer!

The Mediterranean Deli provided excellent food and excellent service. Multiple people at my wedding made the comment that this was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. (I think a lot of them didn't even notice that my entire event was vegetarian!) Even more impressive was the staff. They seamlessly incorporated items that my family provided (drinking glasses, wedding cake, beer, and wine) alongside their own food, and made everything look beautiful. They provided bar tending and cake cutting services, and very discretely moved around throughout the evening and gathered all used glasses and plates to keep the place clean and uncluttered. They did an expert job of making the event run smoothly, and, at the end, everything was organized and packaged and ready for transport home. They even packed the leftover food into "to go" containers. I cannot say enough good things about them. (Not to mention, going to their location in Chapel Hill to select the spread for our wedding was the most fun and delicious afternoon I can recall!) Choose them. Trust them. Relax and enjoy!

They catered our wedding and everything was amazing! The food, the servers, the price, EVERYTHING! I highly recommend them for catering your wedding!
