Location, location. Such a beautiful setting, particularly for the ceremony. The gazebo is nice and the background is beautiful, requiring minimal additional decor.

We had a great experiment with every staff and club member we met. Everyone seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had the best day.

Chantelle, the events manager, was patient, kind, and very hard working. She even pulled through on some details I missed.

The reception space comes with some decor: white chair covers, ceiling drapery, ceiling fairy lights, etc.

One caveat: the event planning management changed after we booked. They were great about it, honoring our original agreement. But I do believe the venue cost has increased.

We were looking for a place on the water to have a very small wedding and reception. Bill and his staff made us feel as important as a large wedding party. They accommodated all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. The staff was so attentive and the food was delicious! We had a beautiful ceremony under their new gazebo followed by a fun reception in the hall. Highly recommend this venue.

My wife and I were married here on 9/22/18. It was a fantastic wedding! All our guests just raved about the views and how beautiful the Yacht club is. Bill and his staff were nothing but accommodating. The food was awesome and a good deal. I gave my wife the wedding she has always wanted. Definitely consider this venue for your wedding. It will be a smooth process.

My husband and I chose the Maryland Yacht Club for our May 2, 2015 wedding because we wanted a waterfront, "beachy" type venue that was close to home (Northern VA) as well as close to an airport (BWI) for our out-of-town guests. We got that and so much more at the MYC.

We worked closely with Joe, the manager, as well as Felicia, the event coordinator, throughout the planning process. Both were very responsive to phone calls and emails, and were willing to meet with us in person at any time to answer any and all of our questions (we had a lot!). Joe and Felicia offered their advice and opinions based on their experience and expertise, but always wanted to make sure we were happy and getting what we wanted.

The yacht club itself is gorgeous. The ceremony was at a waterfront gazebo overlooking two bodies of water and quaint little houses across the way. We took pictures at a little sandy spot down by the water (our "beach") and bridal party pictures and first look were on a dock surrounded by boats. Many guests commented on how beautiful our venue was, and we could not agree more!

On our big day, Joe and Felicia were there to make sure that everything went as planned and on schedule. The only thing we had to do was be present! Everything else was taken care of - communicating with vendors, assisting the Reverend with the ceremony, making sure there was enough food at the buffet tables, even shuffling me off the dance floor because it was time to cut the cake! They made sure everything was in order so that my husband and I could have the best night of our lives - and we did! We would highly recommend the MYC for any special event.

*If you have an afternoon/evening wedding, make sure to get the photographer to take pictures by the water during the sunset. We got some of our best shots there!*

Let me just say, that Carole and her team have got your back!

It rained the day of my wedding, and she had her team outside wiping down all the chairs and even sweeping water off the walkways and such.

The food and beverages were amazing and delicious! Carole really outdid herself and I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator!

Maryland Club Yacht, was a great place for our wedding. Everyone had a great time and gave us some many comments about how nice the wedding turned out. Carole, was great, helped us so much. The food at the wedding was outstanding. A perfect day. :)

I am not one to take the time to place a review but this one is well worth it. We had such a wonderful experience with Maryland Yacht club. From the beginning, Carole helped us to plan our event by being so quick to respond to all the questions we had, whether silly ones or really important ones. She was always willing to be flexible with special requests which made the event even that much more special. One the day of the wedding we were treated with patience and respect. As my daughter in law stated, "it was a magical day" and that was in part to the Maryland Yacht club and of course the other part was she was marrying my son :)

Carole really went out of her way to make sure our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it. She even made it possible for me to give my groom a "Make Your Own Sundae" table! The prices were VERY affordable here, and the staff was excellent! Everything from the planning to discussions to our actual wedding was made simple because of the flexibility and willingness of Carole and the Yacht Club. The food was incredible as well. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for any get together or party! Thank you for making our wedding such a success!
