I just used Samantha and her team for the second time! They were super helpful at my first son's wedding in July 2023 and we used them again last week April 25 2026. That should say it all, but I do want to tell anyone that is looking for an amazing and honest party planning company, Samantha at Marriage and Mimosas is the one to use! They have the experience to know exactly what needs to get done and they take all of the anxiety that comes with planning big and important events away. They are attentive and kind and made sure every detail was executed with perfection. They were absolutely incredible! I've used Marriage and Mimosas 2 times and both exceeded my expectations. I have 1 more wedding to do, and I wouldn't use anyone else. They are a 10 out of 10 !

Sam planned our September 2025 wedding, and we booked with her right after getting engaged in November 2023. From the very beginning, I threw challenge after challenge her way and called her crying more than once. Sam handled every single moment with such grace and so much support. Sam and her team were incredible and always available to answer questions. Paige and Beckie were amazing at helping me find vendors I genuinely loved, and Sam’s eye for design brought all my ideas to life in ways I never could have executed myself. I needed someone who could read my mind and take what I envisioned and make it even better than I imagined. Sam did exactly that. On the day of our wedding, Sam was present for every moment. As an anxious bride, I felt completely taken care of. She made sure I looked my best, felt my best, and that my family was handled with the same care. Everything she did was in the interest of me and my now husband. It was the perfect day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better planner. I would book with her a thousand times over.

We booked Marriage & Mimosas for their month-out planning package (although they were available for questions and recommendations at any time). From the moment we had our virtual meeting with Sam, we knew we had found the right planners Her energy, confidence, experience, and personality set the stage for what turned out to be an excellent decision, and one that surpassed our expectations. Everyone we met along the way at Marriage & Mimosas was professional, wonderful to work with, patient, knowledgeable, and devoted to making my daughter’s wedding exactly what she had dreamed about. And, everything ran like clockwork, taking the stress off all of us so we could be in the moment all day and night. Every little detail was thought about and handled (sometimes without us even knowing). We will remember the role each team member played in handling such a large and special event with their calming presence and guidance that said, "We got this!" From behind-the-scenes planning, arranging and rearranging itineraries, schedules and seating charts, contacting vendors and myself, and answering so many last minute emails and questions (sometimes outside 'working' hours)… all done seamlessly and with patience. Special shout-out to the day-of coordinator for keeping us on schedule for all the different moving parts, to painstakingly steaming the many layers and lengths of the bride’s dress, locating the rings when we misplaced them, making sure the outside chairs and tables were clean, finding items we would ask about, and anticipating little things and taking care of them before I could even ask. When the fun evening of celebrating and dancing came to an end, even the big job of packing up candlesticks and items we brought to the venue was taken care of like magic. We would highly recommend Marriage & Mimosas to everyone.

Marriage and Mimosas was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding, especially considering we were on a short timeline (less than six months). When everything about planning a wedding can seem overpriced, M&M felt like such a great value. Sam was extremely communicative during the planning process and we really felt like she understood our vision. On the day of, we felt at ease knowing that Sam and team could handle anything that popped up. Sam always went the extra mile, literally in our case, taking the time to drop off random items at our house after the wedding while we were staying at our hotel. But what really set M&M apart from the rest of the wedding planners we talked to was how comfortable they made us feel throughout the process. I had an amazing experience working with Sam for my June wedding. Sam has an incredible eye for style and design. So many people told me how beautiful they thought the wedding was! I had such a great time working with her throughout the whole process. I booked her as a partial planner right after I had booked my venue, so she was with me practically from the beginning. Her recommendations for vendors were excellent, and I truly felt like she totally understood my vision for the wedding. I was a bit of a non-traditional DC bride, and Sam was ready to role with that. Loved my wedding and loved her!

Sam had us smiling, laughing and enjoying the process, even in a pandemic. She is warmhearted and easy going and does not put pressure on you to do things that don't feel like "you" while at the same time is not afraid to give her expertise on things that won't work out. We loved working with her, she made the process enjoyable and put us at ease. She is a mom whisperer too! Makes everyone feel less anxious. We adore Sam and her assistant Angie!!!

M&M did a great job planning our wedding. She worked with us in selecting and booking vendors specific to our style and budget. Our wedding was so ‘us’ and personalized. No details left behind. I was totally relaxed and had the best wedding day thanks to Sam and her team!

The team at Marriage and Mimosas created a beautiful wedding! I was planning on eloping but decided to stay local. I’m a doctor so I work crazy hours. Their team was flexible and on top of it! Our wedding was even published in Style Me Pretty! Count be happier with how the day flowed and how beautiful the event was. Still raving about it !
