I had my wedding at The Farmhouse in Plainfield and hired Marie’s Catering for my big day. My husband and I worked with Amanda, and she made what can very well be an overwhelming and stressful process, an easy and enjoyable one for us! She was beyond kind and helpful; she also was very courteous on our budget and overall vision for our big day and DID NOT disappoint! My wedding was about four months ago now, and I still have my guests talking about how delicious my food was and how friendly the catering staff was. Amanda and her team have so many flavorful options. The presentation was gorgeous and the meals were extremely filling. I am trying to think ahead to my next event, so I have an excuse to hire them again! I cannot recommend Marie’s Catering enough!!

To start this review, I have to rave about Amanda. She is AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. She answered all of our questions and was there to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. She genuinely cares about your big day. She is lovely.

The food and bar! The food was so great. From the appetizers to the plated dinner, everything we ate was delicious. The staff was so kind too. We had an open bar with two signature drinks. I heard from a couple guests that the bartenders helped them pick a fun drink and they really enjoyed how helpful they were.

Amanda was amazing throughout the whole planning process, meeting with her was no different than meeting with a friend. She was so knowledgeable, flexible, and truly had our best interest at heart. Day of the man they sent (I forgot his name) was always checking in on us to make sure we were ok and helped push the day along appropriately. I read the reviews and booked with them because of the positive reviews and damn were they correct. Everyone that attended LOVED the food. We chose a family style dinner and people approached us during and even after to let us know the food was excellent. I didn’t get to eat much but from the tasting and little of what I did eat day of I couldn’t agree more. They catered to our little church in Willowbrook and all of our guests that weren't familiar with it not being an actual wedding venue assumed they worked there, they made an outside venue look like a traditional banquet hall. Loved everything about my experience with them, cake was also beautiful and fabulous. Planning a wedding in my opinion brings the most headache having to deal with and trust random individuals to make the day happen and damn did they deliver. Food and drink is such a big deal for weddings and dealing with this company was the easiest vendor we dealt with. No headaches, no inconsistencies, they were A+ in every aspect. Price was also incredibly fantastic as well. Couldn’t recommend them enough!! Thank you Amanda and staff!!

Amanda was absolutely amazing in helping us organize our food and drink menus. We also had a delicious sweets, late night snack, and Hors d'oeuvres selection. I don’t like cake but our wedding cake was very very good as well.

I fully recommend asking for Amanda to assist you on your wedding day. She brought up a lot of good points that we never thought of and were able to implement into our wedding.

As far as recommending their services to others, it won’t be needed because everyone at my wedding went out of their way to say how amazing the food was!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Marie's Catering. From the very beginning, Amanda was very helpful in answering our questions, being responsive, and working with us to create a menu that we wanted. We were astonished by how much food was provided at our tasting, all super yummy, and so we eagerly booked them for our reception. We opted for family style so each guest could enjoy all the dishes, and boy are we glad we did! We had DOZENS of guests come up to us that night, and since, RAVING about every dish. Everything being so delicious and cooked perfectly was even more impressive when you consider they served over 100 people. The servers were great and very attentive and even boxed up my husband and my leftovers, which was such a treat we were not expecting. I honestly don't think you could find better quality food, bar package, and service for the price. Highly recommend!

Amanda was great! She really helped with the whole planning process leading up to and the day of the wedding. The wait staff was professional and the bar tender was great. Things were set up timely and efficiently and even helped with what we brought day of. I had numerous people come up to me and talk about the quality of the food. Overall, they were amazing and it is really a great value as well.

We met with Amanda back in 2019 to plan for my daughters wedding. Due to covid, the date was changed a total of three times. She worked with us to make sure her wedding (finally) was amazing!!! She made sure every thing was perfect down to the last little detail. The staff was phenomenal also! The best bartenders (and our family really made them work) ever and the servers were so professional and on point! I was a little afraid that maybe the food wouldn't be as great as the tasting. The food was delicious and so many guests raved about it, especially the appitizers! Would highly recommend Amanda and Marie's catering!
