After interviewing (MANY) photographers to shoot our wedding, we chose Margaret Sison because she is one of the last remaining photographers who actually works with film! Margaret used several different mediums, including Holga film, to make our special day as dreamy and artistic as we wanted it to look.

1. She is an artist: her photographs belong in an art gallery.
2. She was extremely professional; responded instantly to emails and phone calls.
3. She provides a photo album IN HER COST with actual printed film photographs!
4. We received our photos within a month of our wedding! So quick!
5. She brought an excellent and helpful assistant; they were respectfully non-intrusive.
6. We needed her to stay an extra 2 hours and she happily did so.

My wife and I spent quite a bit of time meeting with photographers, reviewing their work and discussing what the various packages included. I have to say that most we met were very expensive for the quality and quantity of work they provided. Most did not even provide a complete set of film negatives or "digital" negatives. In order for us to print more pictures we would need to go back to them and pay more money. We thought this was ridiculous and went overboard regarding "artistic" license and ownership.

Finding Margaret was a breath of fresh air!
We knew after our first meeting that she was the one. She answered all of our questions and put us at ease with the entire wedding photography process. She's not pretentious, overbearing or inept.
We found her work to be very good. Her composition and "feel" for the shot is also very good.

Our pastor had specific rules about where the photographer could stand during the ceremony. We had heard stories about photographers just kind of doing whatever they wanted regardless of the rules of the church. Margaret was very gracious and worked with our pastor.

After the ceremony and during the reception, Margaret and her assistant moved around the room and took care of business. In fact she told us just to relax and enjoy our day without concern of where the cameras were at any given time.
She was even gracious enough to stay a bit longer as we ran overtime just a little.

Margaret's pricing is very reasonable and I would compare her work to any of the higher priced photographers. She also provides a full set of negatives!
