I feel so fortunate to have had Christina as my makeup artist for my wedding day. From start to finish her professionalism and experience was evident. Her work speaks for itself, and the trial was so helpful to ease my nerves of feeling elevated on my wedding day but true to myself. I wanted a makeup look that elevated and captured who I am, and she nailed it! I have had several people mention how well my makeup was done and how much I looked like myself, which was exactly what I was hoping for. I had concerns about my skin, specifically how oily I tend to be, and Christina knew exactly what to do to ensure I was not too shiny. She even helped guide me on my skin routine in the months leading up to the day. Christina was an absolute dream to work with. I have only had my makeup done professionally a few times before, and was a bit nervous about the process for such an important photo day. Makeup by Christina is the absolute best! I had been a bridesmaid in two weddings where Makeup by Christina was the makeup artist and knew she had to be a part of my day. I've never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day, all thanks to Christina. After having a trial and not loving the results with another makeup artist, Christina was readily available and responded quickly when I reached out about 3 weeks prior to my wedding in a slight panic. She was able to hold a trial within a week and the rest was history. From my inspiration pictures of what I wanted to pictures showing what I didn't want, Christina was able to make my vision become reality. Christina's professionalism, timeliness, willingness to work with me, and extremely kind heart made the morning of my wedding day so relaxing and a breeze. My makeup was everything I had hoped for and more. My bridesmaids, my mom, and mother in law absolutely loved their makeup as well. Christina even spoke Spanish to my mother in law! Christina was worth every penny and I hope I get to work with her again in the future. We hired Christina for our wedding in Gloucester in July 2023 and I cannot recommend her enough. I was extremely particular with hiring vendors thanks to the plentiful photos available on social media/reviews, which is why when I came across Christina, I was excited that I found what I was looking for. Christina is beyond talented and met all of my expectations for my wedding day. Christina’s energy is captivating, not only did she bring her talent to my trial and wedding day, but she brought her calm, confident, and professional demeanor. It felt like an old friend was with me getting ready. My wedding party loved her, too. Our looks were all flawless, we all looked like “us,” but special, more beautified versions. I felt so stunning which helped my confidence for my wedding. Our wedding day was hot and humid and our makeup stayed perfectly in place from our sunny first look on the beach to our very sweaty last dance of the night. Our guests commented on how gorgeous our makeup was, especially noting how amazing we looked versus caked-on makeup many people see at weddings. My mom was very hesitant to have her makeup done professionally, and after her experience with Christina, she can’t believe she ever considered not feeling extra beautified. Christina even put together a little "emergency kit" for anything that may be in need of a touchup throughout the night [but I didn't even need it because she was THAT good!]! THANK YOU, Christina!!
