I cannot recommend Makeup by Christina enough! She made me look and feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day. She took the time to understand my vision and created a look that was not only flawless but also made me feel confident and comfortable. Her calm and professional demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable, and I couldn’t have asked for a better artist to be by my side on such an important day. My entire wedding party was thrilled with their make up as well. If you want to feel your best and most beautiful self, Makeup by Christina is the one! -

We hired Christina for our wedding in Gloucester in July 2023 and I cannot recommend her enough. I was extremely particular with hiring vendors thanks to the plentiful photos available on social media/reviews, which is why when I came across Christina, I was excited that I found what I was looking for. Christina is beyond talented and met all of my expectations for my wedding day. Christina’s energy is captivating, not only did she bring her talent to my trial and wedding day, but she brought her calm, confident, and professional demeanor. It felt like an old friend was with me getting ready. My wedding party loved her, too. Our looks were all flawless, we all looked like “us,” but special, more beautified versions. I felt so stunning which helped my confidence for my wedding. Our wedding day was hot and humid and our makeup stayed perfectly in place from our sunny first look on the beach to our very sweaty last dance of the night. Our guests commented on how gorgeous our makeup was, especially noting how amazing we looked versus caked-on makeup many people see at weddings. My mom was very hesitant to have her makeup done professionally, and after her experience with Christina, she can’t believe she ever considered not feeling extra beautified. Christina even put together a little "emergency kit" for anything that may be in need of a touchup throughout the night [but I didn't even need it because she was THAT good!]! THANK YOU, Christina!! All your future brides are so lucky. -

I booked Christina for my bridal makeup for my wedding on 6/23/23. Christina was amazing to work with and was so helpful and easy to work with. She was a great listener at my bridal makeup trial and truly did everything I asked for and more. My bridal makeup and bridesmaid makeup was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend her! -

I was lucky enough to have Christina as my makeup artist for my July 2022 wedding. From the initial call, Christina was super responsive, accommodating, and excited to learn about my vision. The day of the wedding, she arrived early to make she could set up the bridal suite to accommodate myself, my nine bridesmaids, and various family members. She and her assistant were able to complete each of our looks with plenty of time to spare. I could not have been happier with how my makeup turned out. It was exactly the "light glam" I had envisioned - I got so many compliments throughout the day! I highly recommend Christina! -

I’ve had my make up done by Christina for two weddings and both times it was exactly what I was looking for. For my wedding, I couldn’t have asked for a better make up artist. Christina is professional but fun, and she definitely knows her stuff! My bridesmaids also loved their makeup and it looked so good in photos. I would highly recommend Christina! -

I am VERY particular when it comes to having my makeup done, and had makeup trials with three different makeup artists for my wedding. When I looked in the mirror during my trial with Christina I was beyond thrilled. The makeup was stunning but natural and made me feel so beautiful. I've since had her do my makeup for a wedding I was attending, as well as my mini pandemic ceremony. I always get compliments when Christina does my face!! I highly highly highly recommend her to all of my friends and can't wait to work with her again for our big wedding next summer. -

I was given Christina's contact info by a close friend who recommended her - it was definitely the best recommendation I got for a wedding vendor. She did make up application for myself, MOH, 4 bridesmaids, and both of our mothers by herself. Her timing was managed well and kept us on schedule, she helped bring a calmness to a busy morning and was very friendly, and everyone's make up looked fantastic. I've had my make up done for different events and by far she has done the best job of anyone. My make up lasted well into the afterparty without wearing off or smudging and I was even sad to wash it off that night! Hopefully I will get to work with her again some day, I highly recommend her. -

Christina is amazing! A few weeks before my wedding I was unable to use my original makeup artist. In a panic, I found Christina through a referral and now I’m so glad it happened. Christina worked around my crazy work schedule just weeks before the wedding to fit in a trial. I had trouble expressing what I wanted but she was able to do her magic and my makeup was amazing! I had a large bridal party and was worried about starting so early but our makeup lasted until the end of the night! She even ended up fitting in my mother-in-law in at the last minutes who changed her mind about getting makeup done when she saw Christina’s work. My wedding was in November and my girls are still talking about how amazing she was. There was also an issue with the room that makeup and hair were supposed to be done at e venue and it didn’t phase her. She actually helped my
Maid of honor calm me down. And the reaction from my now husband sums it up best. The moment he saw me the first word he said was WOW!” Christina saved the day and I can’t say enough about her! -

Hiring Christina was one of the best and easiest decision I ever made. She did the makeup and eyelashes for my entire bridal, MOB and MOG, and myself. She makes collaborating about your big day very easy and she is soo accommodating. I highly recommend hiring her. -

Glam Squad Goals!
Christina is AMAZING! She has such a talent for what she does, and delivered the absolute perfect look! She asks all the right questions to make sure she understands what you’re looking for and is an absolute perfectionist in making it come to life! I got so many compliments on my make-up and it lasted the whole night. All of my bridal party loved their looks as well! If I was a celeb, Christina would be my glam squad goals! -

The Absolute Best!
Having Christina be a part of my wedding day was the best decision I ever made! I had my makeup trial in June on a 100 degree day, and after being on a boat all day my makeup still looked flawless. She absolutely exceeded my expectations on the wedding day as well. Christina did the makeup of all of my bridal party and mothers (total of 6 of us), and everyone felt and looked stunning. She recreated the exact look I was going for and everyone else's looks totally complimented their best features. She was extremely professional, easy going and is so easy to talk to. I cannot rave about or recommend Christina more!!! -

The absolute best!
Christina couldn't be any better at what she does. After meeting her four years prior to my wedding, when she did our makeup at my sister's wedding, I knew I needed to have her do my own bridal makeup some day. Fast forward four years later, and Christina was the first vendor I contacted once I had a date set. She's truly a master of makeup but also such a downright beautiful person and admirable woman. Christina listened to my vision, browsed a few of my inspo pics I showed her, and then delivered beyond my expectation. I've received so many compliments on my bridal look and I owe most to Christina!
My mother-in-law and her sister were nervous to get their makeup done, as I've truly never seen either of them wear a drop. I assured them if there ever was a time to get it done, it's by Christina. Sure enough, they were both ecstatic with their results; Christina listened to their wants and enhanced their natural features so well. We started getting ready at 7:30am, and after an entire day in 85 degree heat and cruising around on a windy boat, everyone's makeup was perfectly intact at the end of the night. I remember not wanting to wash my face off at the end of the night because I was loved the look so much.
Her work speaks for itself, though. One of my favorite things about Christina is her calming aura and demeanor. As antsy as I was all morning and unable to sit still, I distinctly remember sitting in her chair and finally feeling relaxed for the first time that day. She's so patient and non-judgemental; total opposite of some other stuffy, snobby makeup artists I've gotten done by in the past. You'll leave wanting to be friends with her, believe me! Cannot recommend Christina enough.

Unbelievable, outstanding, amazing!
Hiring Christina for my wedding was the best decision I made. I was a little nervous about my trial and within minutes of meeting her I was completely comfortable and so excited. Christina gave me the exact look I was going for, and blew my expectations out of the water. I am so grateful for her, and will DEFINITELY be using her again in the future. Thank you for making myself and my girls look amazing on my wedding day. -
