Maricruz is the BEST of the best! During my trial she was able to quickly maneuver through the multiple styles I was choosing between. She had great expert advice for the best styles to hold up in the August heat and humidity (and thank god she did because it ended up being 90 degrees with 60-80% humidity while we took photos/had the ceremony all outside on our wedding day)! She recommended extensions but did not force the purchase on me or affiliate herself with any brand - she was truly just recommending what the best products were to work with! I was so happy with how my hair turned out and with how well it held up! When I finally got back to my hotel room at 3 am my hair still looked FANTASTIC - and I was hard on my hair with 4+ hours outside in the heat and humidity, hitting the driving range at cocktail hour, dancing the night away and closing out the downtown bars. In addition to being insanely talented with hairstyles, her personality and communication skills are amazing and I enjoyed her company getting ready on my wedding morning! Her and her assistant were both happy, upbeat and insanely talented. Multiple of my bridesmaids have texted me over the past months to repeatedly compliment their work - saying they've used pictures from my wedding for samples at other weddings (adding they thought it came out best and held up best at my wedding - even despite the heat and humidity)!! I would HIGHLY recommend Maricruz to any bride looking for a stylist!

Can’t recommend Maricruz enough! I worked with her for my September wedding on Cape Cod. She’s very professional, responsive, and talented. She brought a sweet and calming energy to the day.

Ahead of my bridal trial, she gave me great guidance on hair extensions (which I had never used before). During the trial, she listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions based on what would be best for my face shape and my hair (which always struggles to hold a curl). She also took great care of my mom who had similar concerns around how well her very fine hair would hold a curl throughout the day.

For the wedding itself, Maricruz did my hair, plus hair for my mom, my maid of honor, and my three bridesmaids. The weather turned out to be incredibly rainy and windy, but Maricruz was on time and ready to go despite traveling a decent distance. Given the rough weather, I was even more worried about how my hair would turn out, but Maricruz was committed to making my preferred hairstyle work. Despite the wind, rain, and hours of dancing, my hair held up perfectly. I felt beautiful, and my bridal party looked phenomenal, too. Maricruz Hairstyles is amazing! I had found her via Instagram and immediately knew before getting engaged that I would want to book her for my wedding hair based on all her work I had seen. She is extremely talented at what she does. My wedding hair (updo) came out spectacular and lasted for hours (we had cocktail hour on a boat and even with the wind it stayed put).
