Makeup by Ana B began as a one-woman show in 2012 as Ana launched her freelance makeup business, after having worked as an artist for MAC Cosmetics. Fast forward to now, the company has flourished into a collaborative team of beauty artists known as MAB Artistry, with a studio space in the heart of Tysons Corner, Virginia, and hundreds of glowing reviews including “Best Makeup Studio” by Modern Luxury Magazine in 2022-2024 and "Best Hairstylists and Makeup Artists" by Washingtonian Brides in 2025.

Ebonie did our makeup, Esme did our hair, and Lucy joined to help with both hair and makeup and all three were incredible! Every single member of our bridal party looked stunning and our hair and makeup lasted loooong into the night. We started around 8:30 AM and the night ended around 1:30 AM and everyone still looked flawless.
It was very important to me to find a vendor who could work with various skin tones and hair textures, and Ebonie, Esme, and Lucy hit it out of the park! My mom and MIL were also little nervous about getting their makeup done (will it be too heavy? Will it look ok on "old skin?" etc) and both of them were also extremey happy!
From our very first exchange, Monica and the admin team were really clear about their pricing, the services they offered, and helpful in determing the amount of time we needed for such a large group. They were also extremely helpful in scheduling two different trials (one hair/makeup and a second makeup trial).
I cannot recommend MAB Artistry enough!
