We cannot recommend Maggie Mills Photography enough! She has been my photographer since her beginning days and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is to work with. Maggie photographed my college days and my best friend's wedding, and her team photographed my brother's wedding when she was out on maternity leave. Now, she has also photographed our wedding and created the most beautiful shots every step of the way. She not only supported us in the planning process, but also made a rainy engagement session turn magical. Maggie makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and is your biggest hype person for every photo. She also did my bridal portraits, and I truly could not pick a favorite because she is just that good! Maggie also made our wedding day one of the most unforgettable days by capturing us and our guests so well. You can see and feel every moment of the day in the most beautiful light. You will not be disappointed when you book Maggie!

Maggie is so talented!! We could not have asked for a better photographer. As a fellow wedding photographer, photography was the part of my wedding day I was most excited for. She was our biggest cheerleader on our wedding day. Your wedding day comes and goes so quickly and as a bride, you cannot be everywhere at once. Maggie captured the moments that I didn’t get to experience on our wedding day. Looking back at the photos, I was able to experience those moments. I could feel every single emotion all over again. Maggie was genuine and kind to our wedding party/family as she worked her way through all the photo combinations. I cannot express enough gratitude for her! Thank you Maggie!

Maggie photographed our wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne in Raleigh in May of 2023. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone if I could!

Where do I begin… from our initial phone call with Maggie, my (now) husband and I knew as soon as the call ended we wanted to work with her. I already was in love with her light and airy photography style, but her upbeat, energetic and bubbly personality shone through which really was just icing on the cake.

Communication from start to finish was spot on, she was very easy to get in touch with and answered any and all questions we had.

Initially we were going to forgo the engagement session since we don’t live in North Carolina, but I am so glad we did! Neither of us were that comfortable or used to having our pictures taken, so her guidance and energy was so helpful and made being photographed FUN, which I never thought my husband would say! Maggie knew exactly how to make us feel like we were hanging out with a friend. The session was a perfect opportunity to get to know Maggie better, and of course we got stunning photos afterwards!

On the day of the wedding, we had the same experience as we did with our engagement session. She kept the energy up and was our ultimate hype-woman. During the dancing part of our reception, I noticed a laptop set up on the table that was shuffling through 15 or so images that she had captured during the day. I was blown away with the previews! We also got a glimpse of the vendor gallery within 2 weeks of our wedding day which I loved.

I can’t put into words how happy I am that Maggie was the one to capture such a special day for us. I’ve shared the previews on social media and with friends and family, and all the feedback has been comments like beautiful, stunning, etc etc. We get to have these beautiful images for the rest of our lives, and have Maggie to thank for her time, talent, and care.

Maggie did our engagement shots and our wedding photos and we could not be happier with her or the photos. There are not enough positive words to say about Maggie and her team. She is loyal, flexible, fun, kind, professional, talented and timely!! We are so happy with her work. She honestly helped make our wedding go so smoothly and her photos are beautiful. Maggie works hard to make your special moments enjoyable and memorable. She has a perfect mixture of candid photos and enough structure, organization and leadership to have all the must have photos even with large wedding parties (we had 22). We worked with Maggie for our August 2021 wedding, and she was absolutely wonderful! She has such a bright, clean style that we just love, and we will treasure not only our wedding pictures, but also our engagement pictures, forever. Maggie is a wonderful artist with an eye for beauty, and she genuinely cares about her clients (and even worked with us as we planned our wedding from another state, as well as worked with us through a date change). We just loved working with Maggie so much!

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? I cannot say enough great things about Maggie Mills, she is truly a dream come true! From start to finish Maggie was personal with every single part of the planning process and was so easy and great to communicate with! We had an incredible engagement photo shoot with Maggie and then an even more amazing wedding day! Maggie truly felt like my built in best friend within a photographer! Throughout the process Maggie was incredibly organized and punctual! Maggie organized our photos throughout the wedding day with great preciseness to ensure that every bit of the day was perfect, and that it absolutely was! My family and friends all adore her!

Maggie was SO awesome to work with. She is one of the sweetest and most kind individuals and she is incredibly talented. We have received soo many compliments on our photos that we’ve gotten back and I owe it all to her. She captured our vision more perfectly than we could have ever imagined.

We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Maggie went above and beyond the typical obligations of a wedding photographer. She helped us put together a timeline, came to the final walkthrough of our venue, and answered every question my fiancé and I had to help us feel more comfortable.

On our wedding day, our first look had to get pushed back by about an hour. Maggie stayed calm, cool and collected, and got some beautiful shots while we were waiting. The temperature during our first look/wedding party photos was sunny and 95 degrees. While we were taking pictures in the shade, Maggie and her assistant, Tori, were in the blistering heat and still managed to get incredible shots and stay super positive.

During the wedding, we were pleasantly surprised when Maggie set up a slideshow on a table near the dance floor with a sneak peak of a collection of astounding photos that had been taken up until that point in the night. Maggie and Tori even joined us on the dance floor while snapping photos. Everyone couldn’t stop commenting on how fun they were!

Maggie made sure to text me 40 images the day after the wedding, and got a blog post up just a few days post-wedding. This post included over 150 of her favorite images, and they were all amazing. It was so nice to have these so soon after the wedding to share with friends and family.

Maggie is so incredibly talented, warm, and professional and did a beautiful job of capturing the day. It’s evident that she genuinely enjoys making connections with everyone she photographs and loves what she does. I would HIGHLY recommend her to photograph any event.

Maggie was 100% the perfect pick. She makes it feel like you're snapping pictures with friends and makes taking pictures fun. Her personality is amazing and she finds ways to relate to you (fellow Friends lover here!). This was especially important to my husband and I because we're both awkward in front of a camera and needed all the help we could get in terms of posing and guidance. She has a ton of energy that lasts through long days. Her photos always come out bright, clean, and classy. I usually hate looking at pictures of myself, but I can't stop looking at our sneak peek blog that we got SO quickly after the wedding. I am so obsessed and will show anyone who's willing. She also shot our engagement shoot this summer and made the stifling heat and humidity tolerable and somehow fun. We knew she was the right pick when we saw the engagement photos because they were gorgeous and actually got us excited to be in front of a camera our whole wedding day, which is something we were actually dreading before! We were luckily so wrong! Her second shooter was great and had a calming energy that really helped me when I got nervous before our first look. We got married in Winston-Salem and Maggie was super willing to drive over here at times most convenient to us. 12 out of 10 stars for Maggie!
