Mrs. Maddie Rabago is the wedding planner at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. We had talked with other planners and they were quite expensive for a Maui wedding. In fact, one company I had talked with a couple of times on the phone was fixing to send me some proposals for my daughter's wedding. When they emailed me those proposals they were about to charge me about $900 for talking with them on the previous 2 phone calls. No one mentioned or told me about charging me for my intial conversations. I dropped them really quit. They were about to carry me to the cleaners.
Maddie was really helpful from day one. She took a lot of time with us planning out every detail of the wedding. Once we arrived there, she showed us all around the premises and showed us all of the lawn sites to choose from. Via email, we had chosen our site, but she wanted to make sure with us after viewing them. She helped us lay out the site and acquire some vendors as well as helped us with the menu planning and layout for the reception.
Looking back, we could not have chosen a better site or planner. Her wedding packages were reasonable and so were her charges. She is such a lovely person to work with. We would use her again in a heart beat.
