Our experience working with Andrea from the beginning planning of our wedding to the wedding day itself was a DREAM! We were so comfortable working with her that it honestly felt like we had known her for years. She was extremely accommodating and her work is breathtaking. My favorite thing throughout our whole experience was that during the craziness of our wedding day, she made sure that my husband and I had time completely to ourselves to talk and take in all of the amazingness of our day. I can't imagine working with anyone else. I'm so happy to say that not only did we have a fantastic photographer, but we also made a lifelong friend along the way.

She gave us recommendations for lodging, restaurants, ceremony locations, etc. We were totally blown away by the beauty of the spots she took us for our elopement. We chose a location in Copper Harbor and it was so magical. Andrea made our day feel very intimate and intentional, which is exactly how we wanted it. After our day, we received a sneak peak of photos which I would have been happy if those were all we got. BUT when we received our full online gallery, I was speechless. The gallery is available for a whole year with options to download, share, and order your images in many different formats. It is so convenient being able to do all of that in one place. Andrea is not the traditional wedding photographer. Her work is innovative and edgy. She photographed our elopement in Michigan July 2021 and we could not be more pleased. Steve and I are free spirit Aquarian’s and Andrea immediately “got” us and her photos truly expressed who we are as a couple. She captured sensual and spontaneous expressions that Steve and I shared throughout the shoot when we did not even know she was looking. Hire her. You will not be disappointed.

Andrea is an authentic photographer- she captures the unseen moments, the raw emotions, and the photos she took of our intimate ceremony were very "us." Not only were our photos better than we expected, Andrea is a genuine person to work with. Andrea made the stress of planning a wedding during covid so easy- she provided us with so many resources, was communicative, and accommodating to our many wedding changes. We can't wait for her to capture our reception in 2022!

Andrea was such a joy to work with! Our wedding date was 10/10/2020. We had a fairly large wedding and reception planned, but had to cancel everything just three weeks before due to COVID. We knew we still wanted to elope, but we had no idea what to do. We contacted Andrea, and she completely saved the day! She helped us find a new, beautiful location, and helped rearrange our timeline and schedule for the day. She even signed our marriage license after we lost our officiant, and couldn't find a replacement in time - she's ordained! In the end, our day turned out perfectly beautiful, and Andrea was a huge part of making that happen. Andrea thought of all the little things that we didn't even consider - bringing a pen to sign the documents (seriously, we forgot this), a place to sit, and even snacks when I almost passed out because I forgot to eat. We made the choice to hire her because we loved her style, and we would hire her again because of the way she came through for us! Andrea has been awesome from the start! I found her through wedding wire, after reading reviews & viewing her work I was in love instantly. She is so talented and she has so much knowledge & creativity, she is truly unmatched! Having Andrea at Lume Photography shoot my destination wedding in Chachagua Costa Rica was pure joy. Andrea scouted out secluded areas for our first look photos, captured the earthy vibe of our outdoor ceremony, and the fun of our reception. We also received many "bonus" pictures of wildlife and plants that were abundant at the ecolodge.

Andrea reminded me to take the time to look around, breathe, and take things in during the whirlwind on our wedding day; advice that was highly appreciated. Andrea was AMAZING. My (now) wife and I eloped in the Rocky Mountains and wanting everything to be as perfect as possible, we were both a little nervous going in. We met up with Andrea the day before and scoped out our location and immediately upon hanging out with her and seeing the location, all of our anxieties disappeared. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing and the pictures she took were phenomenal. She captured the emotions of the day with perfection and really did make the entire trip. We would definitely relive the day again with her by our side and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

I loved having Andrea as our wedding photographer. She was beyond reliable and was a natural! She even offered and came to our rehearsal to scope out the area the night before. I honestly cannot say enough about how happy we were with Andrea as our wedding photographer! She was accessible to us ahead of time, got to know us and helped us to organize photography into our wedding timeline so that on the day of, everyone was on the same page and we did not have to worry about anything. She took time to go to the locations ahead of time so that she would be familiar with the lighting and all of the best spots for photos. We have an amazing selection of the candid moments that make up our day, plus portraits. Our photos transport me back to that day, and that is so much more than I was looking for. I am so glad Andrea captured our day for us so that we can treasure these memories for forever!
