We could not be happier with our choice of Loft on Lake for our wedding/reception venue. The space is both beautiful (especially the skylight!) and accessible, the location is convenient, and Jill was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend using Jill’s day-of coordination services if you have an event at Loft on Lake because she made the experience extremely smooth and had worked with several of the vendors before.

We got married at Loft on Lake earlier this month and it was the most magical day!! The first green flag from Jill was back when my husband and I were touring venues. We lived out of state at the time, so we had to do tours on visits to Chicago on weekends. A conflict came up that almost cancelled our tour at LOL, but once we let Jill know our situation, she was so understanding and made it happen on a Sunday. We fell in love with the beautiful space, and from signing the contract to wedding day, everything was smooth! We also booked Jill for day-of coordination, which was so great for the final details leading up to the wedding. She really made our wedding day as stress-free as possible. We're so happy we chose Loft on Lake for our special day!!

My husband and I got married at Loft on Lake on 11/19/22 and it was our first and only venue we toured while researching wedding venues because it checked all of the boxes and we got the best sense from Jill Garrett during our tour. We hired Jill as our day-of-coordinator and she did all of the work to ensure our day went as smoothly as possible, including coordinating with all of our vendors. All we had to do on our wedding day was show up and the rest was taken care of. The venue looked absolutely gorgeous. All of our guests had the best things to say about Loft on Lake too, we can't recommend it more for your next event!

Choosing Loft on Lake for our wedding venue was the best decision we made! The space is beautiful and fit our guest count of 120 perfectly, and we greatly appreciated the flexibility in choosing vendors. We are so grateful for Jill Garrett, the amazing venue manager who also served as our day-of coordinator! She was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process and made our wedding day completely stress-free for us and our families. She also helped connect us with LOL’s in-house photography company, Lofty Weddings, which was also excellent to work with. Our photographers Ramona and Aldo were fun and efficient and made us feel totally comfortable. Overall, working with LOL was a great experience. We can’t say enough good things about their team and highly recommend them to others!

Loft on Lake hosted our 120-person wedding on November 18th and we can't thank them enough for sharing their beautiful space with us! Jill was beyond helpful and assisted with coordinating vendors making sure we would have everything set up correctly and with enough time to take pictures at the venue with family. Our original venue went bankrupt earlier in the year and Jill eased our nerves of starting our planning from scratch the second we met her. We couldn't have asked for a better place to become husband and wife. Anyone getting married or having an event would be so lucky to have it at Loft on Lake!

Loft on Lake was the dream wedding venue. We got SO MANY compliments from all of our guests about how beautiful it was. The brick walls, the built in lights, the SKYLIGHT it was all breathtaking. We knew we wanted a space that didn’t require additional decorating and Loft on Lake fit the bill. We loved that they had decor like candles, the fireplace mantle, etc. On hand so we didn’t need to buy more and could keep the wedding “green.”

Above all else, HIGHER JILL as your day of coordinator. She was so easy to work with, was super responsive and as two very type A brides did an amazing job taking the reigns and letting us relax.

Our experience was INCREDIBLY positive and I cannot say enough how awesome it was to work with Jill and the Loft on Lake team. They were incredibly communicative and supportive, they worked in all of our requests, and when we walked into the venue day of, it was everything we imagined and more. The space is wonderful and fits up to 150 people - we ended up with closer to 85-90 and it was a dream.

Jill was our day of coordinator - use her, you won't regret it. She handled everything we needed and I did not notice ANY bumps along the way. I wish we could relive this day over and over because it was so perfect!

We loved Loft on Lake as our wedding venue! We worked with Jill as our Day of Coordinator. She was so great to work with. She was organized, professional, great with communication, and friendly. Everything looked so beautiful when we arrived at our reception. Everyone had such a fun time. We also rented the photo booth and it was a huge hit.

We hosted our wedding at Loft on Lake in August 2021 and it was the best! We had 120 people and thought it was the perfect size - it felt intimate but not too small. We were worried about the cocktail hour space being too small but it ended up working out just fine. The venue is the perfect blank slate to decorate how you want without needing to do much. Its laid out perfectly for caterers and vendors to get in and set up and really nice to have bathrooms in the front and back of the space. The location is also ideal being close to all of the action in West Loop but far enough away to still get parking. Plus I think all of our guests hit the McDonalds afterwards ;)

The BEST part of the venue was working with Jill. She has such a calming personality and just gets it. She went the extra mile in every single way and added so many little thoughts and details - she even signed our guest book and took some photos of our dance floor

We had our rehearsal dinner (with about 25 people, for a buffet style dinner), followed by our welcome reception (with about 75 people for drinks/a few apps) on a Friday evening at Loft on Lake. We considered the space for our wedding but it was a bit too small for our expected number -- we loved it so much, we decided to use it for our rehearsal. Jill made the whole process extremely easy -- she was super responsive, easy about arranging payments and tours, and just generally really informative. Our BYO alcohol provider left a couple boxes when they picked up that night, and Jill was extremely accommodating about getting it locked in an office and holding it until we could pick it up a couple days later. The space, with its lovely included lighting effects up the walls, easy hook up to connect your playlist to the included sound system, and general warm feel meant we needed just some candles/vases for dinner tables and a few photographs for the entrance to make the space feel really personal and beautiful. We would highly recommend hosting an event here, especially with Jill as your guide.
