It is hard to put into words how truly wonderful our experience at Living Stone was, however, I'll do my best to try! It is the kind of place that dreams come true.

From the moment my now husband and I arrived at Living Stone for our site visit, we were absolutely blown away. We knew immediately that it was the perfect place for our wedding. If you are lucky enough to have come across Living Stone, do yourself a favor and schedule a site visit! The venue is absolutely stunning, it’s like stepping into a woodland fairy tale. Every single detail is so thoughtfully designed; you can truly feel the love that Heather and Django put into the property. From the beautiful open-air pavilion that puts nature right at your fingertips to the hand crafted blue-stone patio and THREE fire pits, with a lovely natural waterfall nestled throughout, it will simply take your breath away.

Heather and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was flawless. From the first request for information to the final send-off and everywhere in between, Heather was warm, attentive and a step-ahead. We took advantage of using her daughter, Hannah, as our day of coordinator who was also absolutely wonderful! Both Heather and Hannah worked seamlessly together to make the planning process and our wedding day as stress-free and magical as possible. By the time the big day came around, my husband and I were able kick back and be truly present in this precious day. We knew Heather and Hanna had everything covered, the whole day ran like clockwork, they even made sure we got to eat, and well!

Heather and Django catered both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day and WOW! The food was out of this world! I could eat their cooking every day! Literally everything we ate the whole weekend was delicious, every protein, every side, every sauce was absolutely on point. My husband and I cannot wait for the next community event they host just so we can go back and have their food again.

All of our guests were equally in awe of Living Stone and the food. I can't tell you how many times people told us "This is the best food I have ever had at a wedding", "This place is magical, how did you find it", "This is the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to". Our day was a dream come true and I am so grateful to Living Stone for making our wedding unforgettable. We could not have asked for a more perfect day.

We found Living Stone in our own backyard and were immediately swept away by the natural beauty of the landscape and the incredible work Heather and Django have put into making the space what it is. Words truly can not describe what they have created, from the boulders along the moss path to the hand-built mortise and tenon pavilion to the waterfall that seems to be the heartbeat of the living stone, you simply have to experience it to understand what it is. Beyond the natural beauty, Heather and Django shared with us and our families the warmest hospitality and most delicious food. We met and discussed some of our ideas, and quickly Heather had curated a menu that not only reflected who we are but would still be approachable to all of our guests. The food was locally sourced, fresh, and absolutely incredible. It is clear that Heather, Django, and their staff are passionate about what they create and serve to the people who have the privilege of experiencing everything Living Stone has to offer.

The day of our wedding it rained for the entirety of the day, while we had to pivot our plans a little bit, Heather had a rain contingency plan that was executed flawlessly by her and their staff, and our day was ultimately perfect. The rain charged the creek, and the waterfall roared, and we danced the night away. We simply could not have found a place more beautiful or run by people more talented and incredible. We have and will continue to recommend Living Stone for anything one could need an event space for. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and would be well suited for any gathering of people who want to celebrate love in a truly spectacular place. We can't express enough love and enthusiasm for Heather, Django and the entire Living Stone experience. Let's start with the aesthetics: The ethereal woodland ceremony spaces, dramatic waterfall patios and meticulously crafted pavilion are both fantastical and highly functional. A lot of Hudson Valley/Catskills venues have a rustic-barn vibe that makes you feel like you're cosplaying pastoralism. Living Stone is not that—I'd describe it as elegant wildness. It's like you're tucked in a magical amphitheater of water, stone, trees and moss, and the just-so curation of comfort and luxury is only quietly perceptible. There's an organic flow from one space to the next—guests explored and gathered in cozy nooks, but no one was ever cut off from the central energy of the evening. The lighting—soft, golden, well-distributed—is highly considered and super romantic. The mossy, forested paths are ideal for couples photoshoots and look spectacular in any weather. We shot there in both dappled sunlight and overcast rain, and both circumstances resulted in stunning, vibrant colors. The amenities—from "away rooms" to golf carts to well-stocked, spacious bathrooms—include everything you need and nothing you don't. We did minimal flower arrangements, but you hardly need additional decor because the environment and artfully built infrastructure is so lush, richly textured and visually stimulating. As the co-owner and coordinator, Heather was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. She's an exceptional communicator who is warm, strategic, solutions-oriented, trustworthy, flexible, calm, creative and focused. Her generosity and attention to detail is unmatched: Heather speedily responded to every message with precision, and when she heard we were really into cocktails, she made large ice cubes and homemade, Luxardo-style cherries for the bar. She has obvious passion and talent for creating special experiences and made us feel deeply cared for throughout the entire process. Our wedding day was transcendent. It was beautiful and super FUN, and truly went off flawlessly. We were blissed out—we worried about nothing and felt so present in the experience. All night long, our guests were effusive about the setting and the vibes—we heard over and over that our wedding was one of the best they've been to. We cannot recommend Living Stone highly enough.

The minute my (now) husband and I stepped foot on Livingstone, we were smitten. It was like a fairytale come true. From it's beautiful cascading waterfall, to the beauty of the many old growth trees, to the gorgeous bluestone, we knew that we wanted to get married here. Heather and Django are the most amazing people to work with. They thought of every detail and were with us every step of the way. Now, they feel like family.

Because of Livingstone Events and their staff, our wedding turned out to be a dream come true. All of our guests said that it was the most special wedding they had ever been to, and we know that that is because of this incredible venue.

Our big day was the first wedding that Living Stone ever booked. It was early into construction that we went on a venue tour, but we knew right then and there that this was the place. The dense and luscious forest, the breathtaking waterfall and Django's beautiful stonework makes this one of the most magical and serene spots in the Catskills. The finished venue was better than we could've ever imagined. Our wedding was absolutely stunning - guests were in awe with many saying that it was the most place they'd ever been to. Heather and Django put so much love into their endeavor and it is evident in every last detail. They are two of the kindest, most generous people that we've ever met and they've touched our lives forever. Heather and Django catered our wedding last month, and we HIGHLY recommend working with them at their new venue. We communicated mainly with Heather, who could not have been more professional, responsive, accommodating, and personable. And Django's work on the grill was to die for! We are still getting compliments from our guests on the quality of the food and the beautiful presentation. We would definitely hire this team again!!

Words cannot describe the pure joy and creativity Living Stone fostered (yet I’ll try my best!).

We were the first wedding at the venue, and I honestly don’t think anything could have gone more smoothly. Our guests could not stop raving about the venue, as well as how friendly all of the staff were. One of our guests said that this was a destination wedding, meaning that Living Stone itself is a destination. Everywhere you look you will notice a beautiful detail that you had not noticed before. We were initially drawn to the space because it managed to capture the raw and wild beauty of a hike through the Catskills, but we continued to find new favorite details every time we visited, as well as throughout our stay.

The space fosters creativity, yet is also perfectly complete on its own. Every detail feels intentional and completely natural… as if nature willed it. The space is a perfect marriage of nature and art, in their truest forms.

The venue was perfect for our crew of friends who love to camp, eat good food, hike, and enjoy each other’s company at our own pace. The venue had everything that we needed, including a kitchen, showers, a coffee bar, refrigerators, a recreation room and living space. The location is also great for those guests who don’t love to camp, as there are a variety of great lodging options within just ten minutes of the venue.

Heather and Django, and their lovely crew were beyond accommodating and helpful. They’re love for the space was infectious (not that we needed any help falling in love with it). We felt supported, yet free. They are professional, experienced and so very down to earth. Everything seemed possible with their support. They are really a dream team to work with!
