hef Deanna catered our wedding at the end of the summer. She is so pleasant to work with, from our first call I knew she would deliver. She was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions, special requests, and answered all of my nervous bride questions.

Besides being incredibly warm and kind, Deanna's food is incredible. Our guests raved about both cocktail hour and dinner, both the taste and the presentation. If our wedding comes up in conversation someone always mentions the food- which there was plenty of! One of our guests commented that the food had a foraged feel, which fit our wedding in the woods based on the menu Deanna designed. Her staff was thorough and thoughtful as well. We hired Chef Deanna in 2019 for our farm wedding in 2020. We had an amazing, romantic and intimate tasting with her at her beautiful home in the winter of that year in which we fell in love with her food...and then the pandemic hit. We postponed two times, and Chef Deanna was incredibly accommodating throughout it all. In fact -- she supported our decision to postpone (even the second time!) when so many people questioned why we were doing it.

Postponing twice was absolutely the right decision, and we had our dream wedding on 4/9/22 of this year. Chef Deanna worked with us to create a menu that was rustic and aligned with our tastes/personalities. We did a barbecue buffet for the main course -- with macaroni and cheese, multiple types of meat, cornbread, etc. -- and a more classic cocktail hour with charcuterie/cheese etc. Everything was delicious. My only regret is that I didn't go up for seconds!

In ADDITION to that, Chef Deanna provided her gorgeous vintage plates that were a perfect fit with our venue. This really helped make our planning easier, and added to the beauty of the tables on the day. Everything went seamlessly -- We could not have been happier with Chef Deanna's catering!

Chef Deanna catered our micro wedding in the Catskills. She was amazing to work with! She is both professional and laidback. She easily accommodated our dietary asks (like including scallops in the appetizers that our guests still can't stop talking about and allowing us to serve Haitian food alongside her menu). Her food is amazing, flavorful and fresh! The meatballs, the mashed potatoes, and the manicotti was divine! Everyone took some extra food home with them! They even set up coffee and tea with our cake for dessert. I have to make a special note to say how beautiful the presentation of her food is (see pictures). Chef Deanna also provided beautiful vintage dishware and glassware and came with three wonderful, professional waiter/ waitresses. She is not just a wonderful caterer, she adds to the decor and the overall experience of your wedding.

Wow. An amazing woman and an amazing chef. Chef Deanna doesn't just bring food to your wedding she brings artistry. My guests are still talking about how wonderful the food is and how kind and loving she is. Best decision ever!

Chef Deanna is the ultimate wedding caterer! From the moment we found her website and Instagram page, we felt that her food told a story of warmth, family, comfort, and connection. We instantly connected with her on our first phone call and even more when we had a tasting in her beautiful home. Chef Deanna accommodated all of our unique dietary restrictions seamlessly and was so flexible as our numbers fluctuated in the lead up to the event.

Now to the food...when multiple guests describe the food as "this is the best (insert blank food) I have ever had", you know you made the right choice. Her ingredients are incredibly fresh, organic, sustainably grown, and you can taste the difference. Deanna created a fabulous wedding feast for my son's wedding. From the locally sourced cheeses and vegetables at the hors d'oeuvres table to the amazingly delicious entrees of filet mignon, blueberry chicken, handmade manicotti, truffle risotto, and roasted veggies, everything was delicious and elegantly served. She brought her own tent and electricity and kept a low profile while making all the guests extremely satisfied. She's a Catskills gem!

It's been a year since my wedding, and, honestly, I'm still thinking about how lucky we were to have Chef Deanna. She was so delightful to work with: warm, generous, accommodating of our budget and dietary needs, and made the most gorgeous food you can imagine.

Not only was she an amazing caterer, but she was a wedding soothsayer, calming us down during stressful times, and helping us find joy in the planning process.

Chef D was absolutely amazing — actually a hero for us haha. We were searching for what seemed like forever for food at our wedding that was local, in our budget, and tasty. Chef D was basically a Godsend. We were so tired of looking and then my husband came across chef D and she was the most accommodating, and so so friendly! She met us at our budget and sacrificed nothing in terms of food/flavor. She had the cutest set up of mismatched plates — which we loved, and her food got rave reviews from everyone (and we have plenty of food allergies in attendance to keep her on her toes lol). Chef D is simply the best, and you have to hire her for your next wedding or event, I promise you’ll be the happiest :)

We found Chef Deanna through Instagram and were intrigued. I sent her a quick note, and next thing you know, we're on a phone call for over an hour that felt like 10 minutes.

We asked Deanna to cater our 115 person, mountain top wedding in Bovina with as much fire-prepared food as possible. Think Francis Mallmann (google him if you arent familiar). No running water. No electricity. She was game. She was more than game. She came ready to rumble and was cooking on the fire pit from morning until late night.

Deanna is warm, talented, energetic, charming, and generous. She made amazing, locally sourced, fresh food our guests are still raving about. She has real relationships with farmers and producers in the area - her local connections are priceless. Her whole team never broke their professionalism and wowed us with their service and hospitality. She helped our moms serve apple pies instead of wedding cake. She sprinkled flowers all over the buffet tables. She shared with us all her beautiful old plates. She surprised us with a late night round of sloppy joes. She let us borrow all the props and baskets and water jugs for our whole wedding weekend, even for events that she wasn't specifically there for. I could go on and on. Book with Deanna, she is a true unicorn of the catering world.
