Hands down the best wedding decision we made! Brandon was a pleasure out of the gate from our first initial call. We got engaged in 2019 and ended up postponing our wedding twice due to COVID - all throughout he was a constant source of support.

Food and Cocktails were a huge focus throughout the planning process and we truly wanted our guests to feel like it was a huge family dinner. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments we received around our menu, Brandon's set up and the signature cocktails. By the time of our wedding we truly had a friend there cooking for our guests.

I could not recommend Brandon and his team enough - the menu planning process was so collaborative, he was so responsive, and overall was just a blast to work with. He's a gem of a human - and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely delicious food. The chicken was barbecued to perfection — tender, flavorful, and incredibly tasty. The tri-tip was an absolute favorite, and the fresh salad and vegetables were the perfect compliment to an outstanding meal served flawlessly for nearly 200 guests at my son’s engagement party. People were talking about the food for days afterward.

A huge thank you to Brandon and Ali for their thoughtful menu suggestions, seamless setup, and exceptional execution from start to finish. And I can’t forget the appetizers — they were just as amazing.

Definitely five stars, over and over again!

Farm to Fire was the first vendor we secured, and with good reason. We'd had the opportunity to eat their food at a friend's wedding in 2018, and we both thought it was by far the best wedding dinner we had ever had. That's impressive enough, but it was also "just" a chicken breast, which was not gonna be my guess for the star protein of "best wedding meal ever."

So when we decided to get married, it was a no-brainer. We asked Brandon to please make whatever he wanted: if he could surprise us so much with a chicken breast, we just wanted to see what he could do when given free rein.

So at our outside, campground wedding out in the woods, he and his team built a fire and roasted chickens and a whole pig over it. That's not for everyone, I know, but for us it was perfect (and to be clear, they also do plated meals, we WANTED a big public live fire cookout, it's not a requirement of working with Farm to Fire). The fire was a focal point of the whole celebration, it was entertainment as much as it was food. I'm sure it made the team's job harder to have guests constantly walking up and asking questions and taking pictures of the process, but they were awesome about it. It was like a wilderness demonstration kitchen. Several guests wanted to be friends with the chefs, because they were so joyful and patient and welcoming and all-around great.

And as for the food? SO MANY guests told us it was the best reception dinner they'd ever had. My wife(!) was born and raised in Memphis, TN, so needless to say her family has strong opinions about barbecue and smoked pork in particular. One Memphian told me that he didn't think you could find good barbecue in Upstate New York, and he was SO wrong that he over-ate and made himself sick. My father-in-law, who is a man of very few words, was absolutely giddy about finding cracklins, his favorite food in the world, in Upstate NY, and thought they stood up to the best Memphis had to offer.

Working with Brandon and his team also couldn't be any easier or stress-free. Brandon himself is the nicest guy in the world, and every time the inevitable curveball got thrown our way, Brandon 's response was always "you two don't worry about this, I'll figure it out." And he always did. Most notably, we used Farm to Fire as both our caterer and our bar service, and there was a problem with our venue changing its policy on liquor licenses that had us really freaking out, and with basically no input from us Brandon and his team just handled it, with all involved parties being happy with the outcome.

As for value for money, my stepmom spent decades in the catering business, and she was ASTONISHED at how affordable Farm to Fire was given not only the high-quality menu Brandon proposed, but also a FULL BAR. We didn't even ask for a full bar, Brandon just said it would be more fun. He was right, per usual.

(Also, that pig is bigger than it looks in the photo, it's just that Brandon is like nine feet tall. In pictures with my 5'7 ass, it's huge.)

I couldn't say enough about working with Farm to Fire. Brandon and his team were a breath of fresh air through the whole process. The food was amazing, and our family and guests were in awe of watching Brandon cook his food fresh, right on site! I would highly recommend Farm to Fire for your special day and I look forward to working with Brandon for future events!

What can we say about Farm to Fire, Brandon, Ali, and their amazing team? From start to finish, they were an absolute dream to work with - especially for this type A bride! They guided us through designing a custom menu that suited our bougie bbq theme hosted a fantastic tasting to ensure it would be everything we wanted, and then flawlessly prepared and executed the main event: our wedding.

Every dish was delicious—our only regret was being a busy bride and groom and not eating much! But our guests are still raving about the food (Especially the chicken on a biscuit, chicken and mushrooms and the roasted pig)! They even took incredible care of our friend with a citrus allergy, which gave us such peace of mind.

Brandon and Ali are not only talented chefs but also genuinely wonderful people. Their food reflects their passion, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the role they played in our day. Thank you for making our wedding meal unforgettable!

Brandon did an amazing job with the welcome dinner for our wedding weekend. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the presentation exceeded our expectations. Absolutely awesome catering service! Brandon is an exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, creative, and helpful person and it was always a pleasure interacting with him; he made sure to keep in regular contact throughout the entire planning process. The food was absolutely incredible and varied and delicious; our guests still rave about the quality of everything, and Brandon was super adaptable with our guests' various dietary needs. Hudson Valley BBQ Co is undeniably a top-tier catering service, and Brandon and all his staff are amazing people and I could not recommend them more highly!

As the mother of the bride, I wanted everything to be perfect for my daughter’s wedding, and Farm to Fire exceeded all of my expectations. From our very first meeting, I knew we were in good hands. Brandon's super thoughtful, attentive, and eager to understand exactly what we envisioned for the big day.
The food was simply exquisite! Every dish was a hit, from the flavorful appetizers to the beautifully prepared entrees. I can’t tell you how many guests came up to me during the reception to rave about the meal. The variety they offered was incredible, and they catered wonderfully to all dietary needs without compromising on taste or presentation.
I am so thankful to Farm to Fire for helping make my daughter’s wedding day so beautiful and memorable. They played such an important part in making it a magical event, and I would highly recommend them to any family planning a wedding. They truly go above and beyond!

Chef Brandon and his team were outstanding!!! Starting at the beginning in 2023, he worked with us to pull together a menu that we loved, he was communicative, and reassuring the whole way through, and he worked seamlessly with our coordinator as soon as we looped her into the final weeks of planning. The food and the service on the day of the wedding were above and beyond our expectations. We wouldn't change a thing, except maybe we would have eaten more apps - note to future couples: cocktail hour really flies by! The food was truly so so so good. Multiple people approached us during and after dinner telling us this was the best meal they'd ever had a wedding, and we may be biased, but we agree. I was hoping I'd have some photos to share with this post, but we're still waiting on those - I will try to edit it when those come in to show off the spread this team served up!
