We had the absolute best time with Lisa as our photographer. We're amazed at how lucky we were to find a photographer that both matched our desires in her professional skill but also in fun-loving and kind personality (which I think it also clear in the photos she takes!) She helped all guests feel at ease and provided sneak peek photos the next day so we could enjoy with all of our family while still together. We wanted a photographer who understood lighting and wouldn't blow out or overexpose, but instead shoot clean, authentic photography that could capture the spirit of us and our guests, and we found that entirely with Lisa and her work! We had a fairly dark outdoor dining area and the photos she took show she can adapt to all atmospheres. We also had an anxious dog and tight timeline and amidst all of the chaos she was fantastic. We can't recommend her enough. 🙏

I cannot recommend Lisa enough. She is very personable and easy to talk to. One of the most important things I was looking for in a photographer was someone I felt comfortable around and would help me avoid the awkward photos. She knows how to get people to relax and put people at ease. We had all sorts of personalities between myself and my in-laws and she was able to help communicate effectively with all of us. Her work speaks for itself too. She is able to capture amazing candid moments as well as artfully posed portraits. She really does go the extra mile for her clients and helped pull together a beautiful photo book for us. I just wish I had another wedding for her to photograph. 😊

Lisa is an amazing and talented person. She listens attentively to all of the favorite things that you have put into your event. She takes the time to know you as a person. She is very talented and "gets the shot" in a second so that being the subject of her art is painless. She knows what to look for and how to capture the essence of the moments and the personality and emotion present in each occasion. She is gentle and funny. A very easy going person with a good sense of humor. It's easy to invite her to be a part of such a very special occasion because she feels so comfortable and easy. She was able to capture amazing and thoughtful photos with us just going along being ourselves. My friends and family said the photos were amazing and that Lisa was like a ninja; capturing amazing pictures when we didn't even realize she was there. I have an amazing collection of photos of my special day of every detail, sentiment, special moment and all the things I couldn't see. I was amazed and in awe of her work.

When planning the wedding, choosing Waterloo Photography was a great decision. Lisa is a wonderful person, so each time we met it was simply fun to be together. And it wasn't that we were looking for "fun", but what a neat side benefit to enjoy the people you work with throughout a wedding day.
She and her team were always flexible and responsive. They were extremely professional during the ceremony and the reception--no one even realized they were everywhere. We have a ton of fabulous pictures; ranging from gorgeous, to sweet or special to hilarious. She knew we were anxious sonshe shared some photos early, then produced the portfolio quickly and has worked with us to broadly share photos as we wanted. We couldn't ask for a better way to remember the day!!

There were so many big decisions to make for our wedding but hiring Lisa to be our photographer is one I never second guessed - we absolutely made the right choice! My husband and I just clicked with her at our first meeting and she was just as fun and easy to get along with during our engagement and wedding photo shoots. She had a great suggestion for our engagement photo location and helped us feel much more at ease. The photos from both the engagement session and the wedding are absolutely fantastic! I don't have words for how much I love the way she captured our special day. She brought Sean as her second shooter and he was also very easy to work with and an excellent photographer. The lighting and background are awesome and she got SO many great shots. She is always very professional but still so laid back and fun. I am already planning to have her take my maternity photos in a few years. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion!

Lisa Hause of Waterloo Studio has been a part of my new little family from the beginning! When my husband and I were dating, she helped me put together a boudoir photo shoot and book for his birthday... not too soon after she took our engagement photos, our wedding photos and our maternity photos. We have also booked Lisa to be at our birthing center birth and to photograph our little son as he comes into the world. She really has been there to capture the important moments in our lives. Lisa is super easy to get along with, open to hearing your ideas, letting you know what she thinks will artistically and professionally turn out the best. She was willing to travel from Texas to Minnesota to shoot our wedding, and I would encourage future brides to keep this in mind- should they marry outside of ATX! Lisa is very diverse, too. She plays with color, black and white and has an eye for not only the composition of the subject (us!) but for elements in the background. I just can't speak highly enough of Lisa's talent and of how blessed our little family has been to know her and to have received services from her. I don't see us using a different photographer for anything, ever. Really!

Mike and I cannot express to you how grateful we are for all that you have done in helping us capture our special day. You were flexible, already had great shot ideas when you arrived, were professional and extremely creative. I love the "shots in-between the shots" and you captured those beautifully. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of amazing photos there were to choose from to put on canvas.

Lisa's photos speak for themselves. She is an excellent photographer. But the reason I chose her was because her caring personality stood out immediately from the other photographers I contacted. With her first email she showed a commitment to providing a complete and QUALITY service. She cares about the couple and about providing a complete picture of the day. She was the only wedding decision I never second guessed and working with her on the actual day was fun! The glimpse of photos I've seen so far are incredible!!! I can't recommend her enough!
