Hi! I’m Lin Pernille (pur-NIL), a luxury wedding, proposal, & event photographer & videographer. I’m based in the Hudson Valley region of NY but I’ll travel just about anywhere for a wedding!
There’s no greater honor than to be able to photograph a couple’s happiest day and for that reason I take my job very seriously. I will always strive to capture the mood, style, and all of the important moments of your day to the best of my abilities, while being attentive yet unobtrusive, and making you feel comfortable and calm throughout the whole day.
My goal is to get to know my couples throughout the planning process so that I can translate their personalities and vision for their wedding through the photos & video.
Beyond delivering clean, timeless, vibrant photos that my couples (and their families) will enjoy for many generations, my mission is to make every part of the experience, from the planning process to the wedding day, as seamless and stress-free as possible so that you can relax and soak in every moment of your wedding day, knowing that all of the photography and video details are taken care of.
I limit the number of weddings I shoot each year so that I can give each couple the time, care, and attention that they deserve. My goal is for you to feel like my only clients – if you ever have a question or concern, please know that I’m only a call, text, or email away!

Beautiful, timeless photos and fun to work with! 11/10 Recommend
Lin did an amazing job photographing our wedding. She was really able to capture not only our joy, but also our family and friends. Lin was super easy to work with and made us feel totally at ease. She had great ideas for our photos and also took our feedback into account. We felt she went above and beyond what we expected and we're very pleased with the results. Forever Grateful for Lin—Our Dream Photographer
We truly cannot thank Lin enough for the incredible job she did capturing our wedding day. From start to finish, she was absolutely amazing—so sweet, professional, and organized. She took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined.
Throughout the entire process, Lin went above and beyond—answering every question, offering thoughtful guidance, and making sure we felt completely at ease. She was so easy to talk to and get along with, which made working with her such a joy. On the day of the wedding, our friends and family couldn’t stop praising how kind, calm, and talented she was. She blended in seamlessly and somehow managed to be everywhere at once, capturing every meaningful moment.

The Best Decision
We had our wedding in May of 2023 with Lin as our photographer and the whole experience was so outstanding, we’re not even sure where to begin.
Hiring Lin as our photographer was arguably the best decision we could have made. The entire process from start to finish with Lin and her team was amazing. She made us feel as if we were her only client from the very beginning. She pays so much attention to detail, she is so thoughtful, and she was always very responsive.
She not only provided us with exceptional service, but also the education needed to make sure all of our photographs came out beautifully. From lighting to posing, and even how to get your partner to smile and actually look like they’re having fun! Lin was an invaluable source of information. She even helped us with organizing our timeline for the day. A surprisingly complicated task with so many moving parts. No stone was left unturned with Lin in our corner.
Out of the many vendors we came into contact with during the long wedding planning process, Lin and her team blew them all away, hands down. They were all so kind and accommodating and really made us feel at ease on what was probably the most nerve wrecking day of our lives.
There isn’t a scenario where we would go back and change anything about working with Lin.
We highly recommend both a photography and videography package with Lin. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign. Book her immediately.

OMG hire Lin!!!!!
WOW, we loved Lin and her team so much. We first met her for our engagement shoot. For two people who are so awkward in front of the camera - she made us feel so comfortable. We felt so confident that we chose the right photographer for our wedding day. Lin would send us packages in the mail with little gifts for the wedding countdown and even her own magazine with tips in it. The little details meant SO much and validated our decision. Fast forward to the wedding - Lin and her team were so professional and sweet. They communicated so well and were such a warm welcoming group to us all. They literally helped me get dressed in my gown and were such kind company to have. They hopped into golf carts with us to find spots for the best photo opportunities. As well, they worked so well when our day got a little crazy due to a rainstorm right before the ceremony. We felt so thankful that we were able to get all of our shots outside before it happened. I know that even if certain aspects of our day didn’t go according to plan (aesthetically wise) - that our photos will all be breathtaking and make each space look stunning because of Lin and her team. We knew how important photography was for our day and we are so happy we picked the right photographer. Also, within days of the wedding she sent us photos to preview!! They’re stunning. Please do not hesitate to book Lin. You will have the best day with her team by your side.

Truly Amazing to Work With
If you are thinking about working with Lin Pernille: DO IT NOW! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Lin was an absolute dream to work with. She is incredibly professional, responsive, and SO good at what she does. Every time we received photos, we were blown away by how stunning they were and how they captured our relationship and each candid moment so perfectly. We did both our engagement and wedding photos with Lin (as well as the Voice Message Vintage Phone "Guest Book" add-on) and were unbelievably pleased at the results. Not to mention everything came back to us so fast! Lin really is a pro at what she does. She cares about each of her couples and goes the extra mile with packaging, and putting love and thought into every message and piece of mail. We are so thankful for Lin and her team and would not hesitate to choose them if we had to do it all again.

Lin is a must hire!
Lin was incredibly attentive to and communicative with us. She captured the most amazing moments of our wedding. We’ve shared our video with everyone we know! She put in an enormous amount of energy and thought into our video and we’re very lucky to have found her. My wife and I cannot recommend her enough.

Lin, a dream photographer
Lin was beyond amazing from the moment I first emailed her, a year before my wedding. She is sweet, personable and her organization and efficiency were exactly what I wanted in a wedding photographer. As a type A bride, Lin didn't miss a beat with scheduling, payment and most importantly capturing our wedding day perfectly - all of which I appreciate so much. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and respected our likes and dislikes in regards to the types of photos we were comfortable with. I received a sneak peak of 10 or so photos the day after my wedding and my entire album was returned in less than 3 weeks! Thank you Lin for everything. You played such an important role in our wedding day and we are forever grateful!

Lin is THE Best.
Lin is absolutely wonderful to work with. I literally don't know where to begin this review because there are so many good things to say about our experience(s) with her. We have had three sessions with Lin--our microwedding, family portraits with our dog, and our larger wedding celebration. We booked Lin for our 2020 wedding in 2019. When we had to postpone our celebration, Lin was so flexible, kind, and empathetic.
For each session we've had, she proved herself to be organized and timely (so timely, in fact, she was early delivering our photographs every time!). On top of her incredible business acumen, Lin is a talented photographer. Her images are timeless, perfectly color and contrast balanced, and just beautiful. Even with a couple of nerds like us who are completely not in our element in front of a camera, Lin makes us feel comfortable and confident.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you have doubts, you shouldn't. And you should book her immediately because she's immensely popular and you will miss out on a wonderful experience.

The Best in the Business
I feel so blessed to have found Lin. From the first interaction, I knew she was the one I wanted to capture my day. My husband and I instantly fell in love with her sweet disposition, extremely detailed and organized personality (this was huge for me!) and of course amazing photography skills. Her energy is infectious and that is exactly what you want on your wedding day! When we met Lin for the first time at our engagement photo shoot, I literally could not have been more happy. The lengths that Lin went to to make us comfortable and relaxed are still beyond me, we felt like we had known her forever. On our wedding day, it was almost like having an extended family member with me by my side the whole day (an extremely detail-oriented, punctual and organized family member!). I can’t say enough good things about Lin because I truly feel (and know) my wedding day would not have been the same without her. The memories she captured beautifully tell the story of our day and she did not miss one moment. She captured all of the pictures I asked for with ease and that was no easy task because I have a very big family and had so many little details that I wanted photographed. She amazed me, my husband and our whole family - not to mention her assistant was such a doll! Saying a simple “thank you” will never be enough to thank Lin for what she gave us! Please stop your vendor search here, I promise you that you won’t regret it.

Exceptional.
I cannot say enough about Lin! She made my backyard wedding feel like the most romantic wedding ever with how she captured all of our best moments in video and photo! Despite the torrential downpours that came towards the end of our wedding night, Lin and her team made everything seamless and effortless and continuously made sure we had taken every shot that we wanted. Lin was able to get my Husband, who is camera shy and overall hates "posed pictures" to laugh, have fun, and even enjoy it. Best part? We had all of our photos/video back way before we had expected! Not only does she take amazing photos but she is also extremely professional, has a great personality and is so easy to click with. From the moment we inquired into her photography - Lin really went above and beyond to make our wedding feel magical - she sent us beautiful gifts before and after the wedding. She will hands down be the only photographer I will continue to recommend, without a doubt.
