Old Tappan Manor

We had our wedding at Old Tappan Manor on April 4, 2026, and I can honestly say it was everything we hoped for and more. My name is Sam, and my wife Amanda and I spent a long time searching for a venue that felt elegant but still warm and personal—and the Manor delivered on every level.

From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. The staff was incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they guided us through every step with patience and clarity. No question felt too small, and no request felt like a burden. That kind of support made a huge difference for us.

The venue itself is stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the manor has this timeless, classic charm that makes everything feel elevated without being stuffy. Our ceremony was held outdoors, and even in early April, the setting felt magical. The landscaping created the perfect backdrop for photos—honestly, we barely had to “pose” because every angle looked incredible.

Inside, the reception space was just as impressive. The room felt spacious but still intimate, and everything flowed perfectly—from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. The staff coordinated everything so smoothly that Amanda and I were actually able to relax and enjoy the night instead of worrying about logistics.

One thing that really stood out was the food. We had heard good things beforehand, but it exceeded expectations. Our guests are still talking about it weeks later. From the cocktail hour selections to the main courses, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They were also very accommodating with dietary needs, which was important to us.

If I could give one piece of advice to future brides and grooms, it would be this: trust the team at Old Tappan Manor. They know exactly what they’re doing. We came in with a vision, but they elevated it in ways we didn’t even think of. Let them guide you—it will take so much stress off your shoulders.

Also, take time on the day to really soak it in. The setting, the atmosphere, the way everything comes together—it goes by quickly, but it’s unforgettable. Amanda and I both had moments where we just looked around and thought, “This is perfect,” and that’s something we’ll carry with us forever.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to start our marriage. If you’re considering Old Tappan Manor, don’t hesitate. It’s not just a beautiful venue—it’s a team that cares deeply about making your day everything it should be.

From start to finish, everything was a dream....12/10. Just speaking of the Old Tappan Manor i have heard the term "hidden gem" soooo many times and i can see how its true. Truly a gem and absolutely gorgeous. Victor did an amazing job guiding us through the menu and customizing everything for us...you should definitely trust him. They guided us with vendors and literally every other aspect which was SUCH a big help. They truly care and amazing. When walked into the ballroom for the first-time, I actually thought i couldn't breath for a second. I became slightly dizzy out of sheer amazement from how beautiful everything looked all set up. We had the PERFECT night and got so many compliments. I would definitely recommend the old Tappan manor for anyone who wants their dream wedding.

This venue is truly a hidden gem in Bergen County! From start to finish, the entire team at OTM was beyond accommodating and made our wedding day absolutely seamless. They answered every question before the event... and trust me, my mother had a lot of questions... with patience and professionalism. On the day of the wedding, they were so kind and attentive. My husband and I didn’t have to think about a single thing on the wedding day. Anytime I needed something on the big day, it was taken care of before we even realized we needed it. I had multiple bridal attendants helping me, which made the day run so smoothly. Joe, the owner, is the absolute best and Rich and Victor were incredibly helpful too. They’re true professionals who know exactly what they’re doing, and it shows. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! I would highly recommend using the venue for your wedding, or any other celebratory event!

Absolutely so glad that I found this venue. It’s so gorgeous inside and out, requires minimal decor but I still added a bit to personalize my wedding. Rich was amazing throughout the whole process. The venue was flexible and met our specific needs every step of the way. My only thing was that we had to pay extra to get into the venue early (10am) on the day of to get ready in the bridal suites. I figured because there is only one wedding (ours) that day it should have been complimentary, but I guess that’s their policy.

My husband and I got married at the Old Tappan Manor in May and it was the absolute perfect day. We could not have asked for a better venue! While we had signed on under previous management and had our contacts change a few times before the wedding day, we were very happy to end up with Victor as our manager and main contact. He did a great job making us feel comfortable that everything would go perfectly, and then him and his team did just that and executed the perfect wedding day! Lauren was also a fabulous matr’D and the bridal attendant blew me away with how great and attentive she was! We are beyond apply with our choice of reception venue!

My husband and I hosted our beautiful wedding this past April in Old Tappan Manor . The venue is very pretty and does not need much decor . The waterfall in the back area is gorgeous and was my main backdrop for photos . Vincent is great and was very accommodating to all of our needs . Our guests loved the food and the simple beauty of the venue . All in all, we are happy with our decision in choosing Old Tappan Manor as our wedding venue .

From the moment we booked this venue we only had positive experiences. We worked with Vincent, who couldn't have been lovelier. He's super responsive and gives great advice/can answer any questions. A total pro. All of my guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. There are SO many options for cocktail hour, it was hard to choose. We did custom cocktails at the bar & added an exit station of pretzels and churros. All around, everyone loved all the food and drinks. We got married off site (at St.
Pius X), but there's a beautiful outdoor space, if that's something you're interested in utilizing. Our guests took a lot of photos at the waterfall at night.
The ballroom itself is so gorgeous, we did pampas centerpieces and a few other decorations (sweetheart table arch & floor vases), but really you don't need much to decorate this place. It looks incredible no matter what. The staff at our wedding was incredible, quick and friendly. Kept the party going. I really only have great things to say about this place. They made our wedding a real party. It was perfect!

Amazing! amazing! Amazing! Choosing a venue is definitely so hard but my (now) wife and I so confident know that we made the right decision. One thing that really stuck out to us was that they do one event on the premises and I can tell you IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. This is for sure a place you should check out. Thank you Old Tappan Manor!
