Best wedding decision!!

Tyanna was amazing from start to finish! I had already done a lot of planning and after a few calls she was able to seamlessly take over and pull everything together. She provided a lot of support in the stressful final weeks, even doing walkthroughs at the venue for me as I live downstate. Tyanna worked the entire day to make sure the wedding was fun, relaxing, and everything we wanted! She was a true professional and helped me pull off an amazing day!

Best Decision Ever!

We hired Tyanna as a day of coordinator about 30 days out from our wedding date. Tyanna was my actual lifesaver. She handled coordination with our vendors regarding timelines, deliveries from vendors, set up etc. and she also decorated our venue for the reception for us! She was professional and enthusiastic. She made me feel like everything was taken care of and that I could trust her to help me make several last minute decisions. Leading up to our big day, she consistently checked in with me. Hiring a day of coordinator was 100% necessary for us and I am so glad that we chose Tyanna!

Tyanna for president (of wedding planning)

I couldn’t have done it without her. She was helpful for everything from planning, keeping me on schedule, setting up and after wedding madness. I could text her any time of day and she would have a quick response. Even if it was late at night, she would respond early in the morning. I have bad anxiety and she kept me calm and collected in my thoughts. During the wedding weekend, she solved any problem with ease. I could praise Tyanna for hours on how amazing she is at what she does and how wonderful she is as a person. ❤️ Forever grateful for you, Tyanna - Mr. & Mrs. KEYS 😍✨

Currently, I reside in northern Michigan with my vivacious daughter and our furry and feathered family members. We love to travel and enjoy all things outdoors!

My passion for oraganzing and managing events was the driving force in the birth of Light the Way Events. I began my professional event career at a premier wedding venue in northern Michigan and absolutely fell in love with being part of such a special day. Coordinating a wedding is like putting the pieces of a puzzle together--challenging with a beautiful outcome!

I came to the realization that I wanted to do more and be able to help couples at various venues, so I decided to go off on my own. Helping to create such a memorable day from behind the scenes is incredibly rewarding!
