If you are deciding whether or not to hire a planner, or deciding between multiple planners....Blue Fancy IS IT. I knew from the second I got on the phone with Meredith that she was going to be amazing, and she definitely exceeded all my expectations. Her and her team went above and beyond to make my wedding the most spectacular day I could have ever dreamed. Meredith is so wonderful to work with and we became fast friends for life! She knew exactly what I wanted, before I could even articulate it myself. Her knowledge of the industry and vendor relationships is unmatched. She will do whatever it takes to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Her vision is spot on, and she sure knows how to make something stand out visually. Meredith is always available and such a great communicator. She is up front, honest, personable, hilarious and truly a gem. Not to mention, her calm demeanor was exactly what I needed on the day of my wedding. She totally kept me calm and took on every hiccup without me ever knowing what was going on. Blue Fancy is amazing and I can not recommend them enough. Meredith and Blue Fancy - you all are THE BEST, and my wedding wouldn't have been anything without all your help and hard work. Chloe absolutely nailed it. Working with her was fantastic. She was on every detail, we stayed perfectly within budget, and she made everything as smooth as could be. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. I would recommend Light as a Feather to anyone looking to have a smooth and enjoyable planning process. You definitely get what you pay for!

We give the strongest recommendation to Rachel from Light as a Feather Events as a wedding coordinator! Rachel was incredibly thorough and detailed throughout the wedding planning process, asking us thoughtful questions and reminding us of even the smallest decisions and details to figure out ahead of time to make the wedding run smoothly. She went above and beyond coordinating with our vendors to ensure all logistics were handled ahead of time. She also effortlessly handled last minute changes to switch to our rain plan and did an incredible job coordinating the whole wedding day so that we didn't need to worry about a thing and knew that everything would run smoothly. Rachel's dedication to every part of our wedding day made it such an incredible experience for us and we'd recommend her to everyone as you get ready for your wedding day.

The best choice we made for our wedding was working with Light as a Feather. They are professional, well-connected, supportive, and responsive, all the things we needed to figure out what WE needed. I had booked a venue, and was so overwhelmed with the amount of choices we needed to make, and by working with Light as a Feather, they kept us organized, on track, and helped create a wedding day more beautiful, personal, and fun than I could have ever imagined!!

Hiring Light as a Feather Events and specifically Chloe was hands down the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. She was extremely organized, handled communications with all of our vendors, kept us in the loop on where everything stood from scheduling to contracts to tours, visits, etc. There’s absolutely no way we could have had the amazing wedding we did without Chloe. 10/10, no notes, highly recommend, would hire her again for any event planning needs without a second thought.

Chloe is absolutely incredible. We had the honor of working with Chloe for 2 years in anticipation of our wedding day. She is truly the most detailed-oriented, thoughtful, creative, supportive, and kind partner we have worked with. Chloe was an extension of us. We had full trust in Chloe to make our wedding day a success and provided her the autonomy to make some of the tough wedding-planning decisions for us, as she truly knew us better than we knew us.

Though the two years working with Chloe and Light As A Feather, we formed a close relationship with her and the team. We are so proud to say that Chloe was NOT our wedding planner, but became our close friend that also helped to plan a spectacular wedding for us. The day and entire weekend would not of been remotely possible without Chloe and her LAAF team. 

If you’re up in the air on hiring a wedding vendor, do it. We constantly thought about how much value we got for the price and the benefits that came with working with such a strong partner.

If I could give Chloe 6 stars I would. She executed our wedding flawlessly at the Pfister on 10.25.25. Chloe is incredibly detail oriented, organized, so calm and relaxed, and a true professional. I was a type
A bride, and she was so helpful with every question I had and every clarification I needed. She was so hands on with my venue coordinator and vendors and truly brought my vision to life. From ensuring my husband and I didn’t see each other before the ceremony, to lining up my bridal party, lighting last minute candles and ensuring the vendors had everything the needed, she went above and beyond. Truly very talented at her job and you will so happy to have her on your day.

I cannot say enough good things about Ella and the amazing work she did to make our special day perfect! She went above and beyond to take stress off my plate and to make our wedding flow seamlessly. Not only is she extremely talented at her job but she is so personable and was truly a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. She made us feel cared for and supported every step of the way and was such a wonderful person to have by our side on our wedding day. The flowers! The disco balls! The food! The music!! Oh, where to begin?! From the start, my husband, Joe, and I were unsure if we even wanted a full-service planner. I had a pretty good idea of what I liked, was pretty crafty, and had been to dozens of other weddings - I was a self-proclaimed wedding pro. However, we quickly discovered that living in Texas and planning a wedding in Wisconsin was not an easy task.

From the time we took our first call with Ella, we knew we wanted her on our side. Her honesty and evident knowledge of the industry floored us and made us feel a sense of security we didn’t have when speaking to vendors on our own. Every step of the way, Ella not only held our hands and explained why “this” was better than “that”, etc. etc. She also made sure to keep our vision of the day at the forefront of every decision and every suggestion. Never at any point did we feel like we were just “another couple” receiving the same recommendations/advice. She made us feel seen, heard, and gave us a wedding that truly captured our love and felt so authentically “us.”

Like most women, I had BIG dreams - very expensive, very unrealistic, very non-budget conscious dreams. Instead of just telling me “no,” Ella always listened, and when things sounded impossible, she thought of creative ways to bring my Pinterest vision to life. I am happy to report that in some way, shape, or form, I got everything I ever wished for out of a wedding. And my husband is happy to report that we did it all within budget! Yay!

Throughout the wedding planning process, we continuously received feedback from our family and friends on how “relaxed” we appeared. (which was very strange if you knew me in real life) It was all Ella! Our regular check-ins always left us feeling excited for what was to come! She was organized, responsive, and knew the exact things to say when we were uneasy about a decision.

And yes, there were the inevitable hiccups, when isn’t there? But Ella handled everything before we ever noticed. Our guests raved, we got to be present in every moment, and it truly was the best day ever. Thinking about it now has me beaming!

Ella and her team were literally worth every penny. We can’t get married again (though we’d gladly hire her twice!), but we can sing her praises. You won’t regret it, promise!!

Ella was like a capable, skilled maestro directing an orchestra of vendors, wedding party, family, & ushers. From the first conversation I had with her (after stressful conversations with other coordinators), I knew we'd be in the right hands with Ella and her team (Brooke). Ella took sooo much stress off my shoulders in the last month when every vendor needs something from you through our wedding - when she handled every issue that came up, usually without even telling me. She exercised great judgement and is so capable - a rare trait nowadays. I am so happy we chose Light as a feather for our wedding coordinator and so thankful to Ella & Brooke for their productive work - we could not be more thrilled!
