Laura was a dream to work with. By far, our favorite vendor that we chose for our wedding. Everyone in the wedding party complimented how on top of everything she was and laid back to work with. From the first time I spoke with her on the phone, it was clear she was highly knowledgeable and passionate about the work that she does. She made us feel comfortable from the moment she started shooting our engagement photos and made the process painless. Day of the wedding, Laura was on time and prepared. We got married in Balboa Park on a Saturday, with hundreds of people everywhere and Laura was able to capture beautiful photos that make it look like we were alone in the park, in some stunning locations. During the reception, it seemed like every time someone was taking a group photo, Laura was there to capture it. Don't look any further than Laura for your engagement and wedding photos!

For me, choosing the person to help capture our day was so easy! Being in the industry myself, I have known Laura for many years. Whenever I see her, it is like catching up with an old friend. Once we hired her, I warned her that my guy hates taking pictures, and she was unfazed. During our engagement shoot, it became her personal goal to ensure that his smile stayed genuine the whole time! Our pictures from that day turned out absolutely incredible, and my then fiance (now husband :D) left with great confidence in her. Our wedding was no different, and all of our family and friends were so impressed by her!

Laura was AMAZING! We instantly loved her when we met with her and couldn't wait to hang out with her again on our wedding day. She did both our engagement photos and wedding. Super organized yet able to roll with any punches thrown at her. Laura is exactly who you need on your dream team. She knows exactly what's necessary for a successful capturing of your dream day. She's prepared in the planning process with great questions to get to know you and your loved ones, she follows up when she says she will, she assures you when you didn't know you needed assured, and she's your bestie when you didn't know you needed one. I just cant event tell you how important she was to our special day. On our day of our event stress levels got high with random oddities and she was there, calm, collected, and insanely flexible. I cannot say enough good things about Laura and her work! She made the entire process a breeze and was always available to discuss the details of the day or answer any questions I had. She really took charge and put together the timeline for our day and included my event coordinator and wedding planner in the process, which I was beyond grateful for because it took a lot of stress, planning, coordination, and outreach off my plate. My husband and I are both a little camera shy and don't love being photographed but we were so comfortable around Laura and she made the process seem really natural. She picked out great locations to shoot and we had a lot of fun under her direction. We've already received some sneak peak pictures and were blown away, we can't wait to see the rest! I can't speak for my husband, but I knew Laura was our photographer after our first email exchange. Meeting her in person only sealed the deal. It felt like we were meeting up with an old friend. Laura takes the time to get to know you as a couple, and as individuals, so she can bring the best out in you. She always has a smile on her face, and her cheerfulness helps to put you at ease, even if you don't like being in front of the camera. She communicates well - super responsive to emails and messages, and is very detail oriented. In the end, her photos truly speak for themselves. She also did our engagement photos, which we used for our invitations and some decor at both wedding showers and the reception itself. We've already received some preview/sneak peeks at photos from our big day and we can't wait to get the rest! All our family and friends who have seen them have raved about the photos, and also about how organized and kind she was during our wedding. We are so thankful our wedding planners (White Lace Events & Design) connected us with her.
