We were blown away by the professionalism, talent, and flexibility of Dennis. From our first call with him, we knew we were in the right hands. Dennis has extensive experience in weddings, and we loved his style and demeanor.

Dennis did a great job capturing our ceremony (a full Catholic Mass) in a respectful manner. The photos turned out so incredible. He was also very understanding and flexible with our families (lots of combinations!). Everyone felt included and was captured beautifully. He followed up with a handful of shots a few days after the wedding which was such a fun surprise on our honeymoon!

Dennis also provided a five minute slideshow of the day, which was a great gift to us that we could share with friends and family. Dennis’s photos speak for themselves! Before I met my now husband, I was looking at a friend of mine’s wedding photos and said to her “who was your photographer, because I’m booking him when it’s my turn”. And well, that’s exactly what happened!

Not only does Dennis have the ability to capture photos and document the day through his work, he’s funny and easy to work with. Trust him and you will be so happy! Dennis’s demeanor makes everyone around him feel comfortable, which translates to all family and friends looking their best in all of the photos. His way of being able to capture the moment combined with his artistic skill of using light, creates photos that are bold and beautiful. Dennis also helped us pick our engagement session location, which we would never had found on our own. We are so grateful that we leaned on him for his advice!

As a 2020 couple, we had to re-plan everything for our day and Dennis was the only piece of the puzzle that we did not need to make any changes with. He really made his role in our day easy for us. He is a true professional that my husband and I consider a friend.

We have so many great photos from our engagement session and wedding day, that we don’t have enough wall space to print everything we love- what a problem to have!

Rick and I met Dennis at my brothers wedding about five years ago. After pushing our wedding date twice, we decided to have a much smaller wedding in our backyard in Brooklyn. During COVID, Dennis had been so easy going and understanding about us having to move our wedding date. When we asked him to shoot our mini wedding in the meantime, he jumped at the opportunity.

Dennis is so easy to work with, and it’s so wonderful to work with a photographer who has a clear passion for his career. Our wedding was only 12 guests, and Dennis fit right in with us and even had a seat at our table.

We received previews that very same night, and got our full gallery after a week. He went above and beyond for our day, and captured every moment so beautifully. It’s impossible to pick a favorite photo, as there were so many amazing options!

When taking group photos, he is sure to get every single combination of guests. Given our day was so small, he was really able to pay attention to the details, and was truly able to capture every single moment.

Let's start by saying, I always trust my best friends recommendations. But, also, I had previously been in a wedding party where Dennis was the photographer, so this was a fairly easy hire for me. I had seen how he worked, and seen his final work, all of which were amazing. Dennis has the ability to make big group photos fun and easy which are important when dealing with a big bridal party of 18 like ours! He has a routine and way of taking photos throughout the day which is important and makes the bride have to worry about one less thing. He is truly a professional and so are his assistant and 2nd shooter, who happened to be Drew for our big day. Dennis was accommodating when it came to answering questions before the wedding.
Most importantly, he has this incredible eye for taking some incredible photos. Be willing to tough it out in the weather, whatever it may be because outdoor photos are his thing! So whether it is snowing, raining, or a hundred degrees, be ready! The photos will be worth it!

Phenomenal photographer! Dennis is incredibly skilled with an eye for detail, lighting, and intimate perspective. He and his assistant were amazing throughout the day, and captured not only the important events, but so many special little moments. We can not say enough about how amazing Dennis was as our photographer! We had both our engagement photos and wedding day done through him. He made the wedding day so easy. Myself, my husband, our wedding party and family felt so comfortable with him. He was on the rooftop with me while I debated if the weather for the ceremony would hold! When the weather did not hold he made up for the rain with his amazing photography and made sure to get my husband and I up on that rooftop for the most breathtaking pictures! His sense of humor, easy going personality and energy was contagious! All of our family and friends raved about how great our photographer was and how amazing the pictures are! The wedding day went by so quickly but now I can relive all the moments through his photos and the moments he pictured bring tears to my eyes while also making us laugh out loud. We could not have asked for more. Truly amazing work and such an amazing person to work with!!

I do not have the words to recommend Dennis Pike enough! We met with several photographers before him and not only did he have the best work out of everyone we met, he was the most professional and the most accommodating. He shot our engagements photos as well as our wedding, and people could not stop raving about our pictures! Each occasion that we worked with him, he could not do enough for us. At our wedding, he hustled around (and by hustle, I mean sprinting around to find the best location and lighting for our photos) and was always looking for those perfect picture opportunities. Amazing! Dennis is awesome at taking photos and I have never appreciated a good photograph before. Dennis did my wedding a week ago and I chose Dennis based on a blind review from a friend of mine. It was the best decision we made! His photos will be the only thing we will have to remember the day by, and now we have fantastic photos of every part of the night we were hoping to capture. He got along perfectly with all of our family members (even the difficult ones) and had a fantastic attitude the entire time. I highly highly recommend using Dennis Pike!

Dennis Pike is the man! From the day we had our initial interview with him (at a cute coffee shop), we were sold. He totally got us and our non-traditional sort of wedding. He was completely respectful of our ideas and met us with several times to make sure he knew what we were looking for.

The day of the would not have gone better. He showed up at 8am at the hotel where we were getting ready. Everyone of my bridesmaids said that normally they'd have felt weird having some guy take pictures while they were getting their hair and makeup done but that they felt totally comfortable with Dennis.

He was with us every step of the day and totally fit in with our crowd. He was with us for almost 16 hours (at no additional charge).

When we told him that we wanted to take our pre-ceremony pictures at a nearby stream that required crossing a highway and hiking over wet rocks, he was game!

And our pictures are astounding. Natural and beautiful and fun! He got us almost 1000 gorgeous shots... and they were delivered to us in 2 weeks! We were also recently featured on his blog which is such a fun thing to share with our friend and family and on social media.

Dennis is a top-notch photographer but he is also a really great guy!
