It's a gem in Prince Georges county. Great lake view for pictures, serene and greenery is plush. Indoors options are elegant and intimate.

I have nothing but great things to say about this venue and my overall experience. Janelle was very great to work with from start to finish- she was extremely attentive, even when I wanted to add on menu items just one day before my wedding. Janelle was able to work with me with literally EVERYTHING, and made sure that I was pleased with all of the plans put in place. She even helped set up and stayed for the entire event to assure that my special day did not skip a beat. The food was incredible, service was amazing and the view outside was beautiful even in the winter for photos to remember my wedding day for a lifetime. The staff that works here kept a smile on their face the entire time and made myself and my guests feel special, welcomed and attended to the entire evening. April and Basil were a pleasure to have working the event- please request them if considering an event at Lake Presidential in the future and you will not be disappointed! As mentioned before, I have nothing but good things to say about Lake Presidential and their venue, service, and staff members and will continue to refer them to my friends and family for their special events.

September 10, 2016 was one the best days of our lives! We had our wedding at the Lake Presidential Golf Club and it was absolutely perfect! The grounds are stunning and the lake view at sunset is unmatched. Besides the beauty of this location, the staff's level of work ethic, professionalism, and attentiveness help make this day truly memorable. We honestly couldn't have asked for more.

For any of you that may read this, and are in the DC metro area, or beyond, you absolutely should consider Lake Presidential.

The venue was amazing! It had amazing views and the staff is amazing as well! My guests didn't know about this well kept secret in PG county, but they enjoyed it, especially being able to sit outside and taking in the scenery during cocktail hour. We had a wonderful time and Shannon was the best!

Absolutely gorgeous venue, food is AMAZING!! The staff is quick and tentative and the wedding coordinator is so helpful and takes a lot of the normal wedding stress off of the bride and groom.

Lake Presidential was a beautiful canvas and the perfect weather we had on our wedding day exemplified it beauty. The staff there are very flexible and willing to help any way they can. The food was delicious and the dinner service was great! Our guest are still talking about how beautiful the venue was!

Let me start that the venue is beautiful and has potential to be great with the right management. My client decided to book this venue for her 2024 nuptials and from beginning to end it was chaotic. The day we were suppose to view the venue the event coordinator did not show and the staff that was on the premises was not knowledgeable. It would have been common courtesy to call or email your potential client to let them know that you could not make it. However, that did not happen. Immediately I advised against the venue because I believe first impressions are lasting impressions and if this is how we're starting what happens later. Can you trust them to be ready on your day ?.. The entire process has not been a smooth one. Unanswered correspondence, the feeling of annoyance and lack of clarity on things.

When booking my clients payed for an additional hour for setup. During the time of contract signing it was stated that the only part of the club that would be open to the public would be the restrooms. Now i believe if a person ia booking your establishment then that should close everything for the duration. But they were OK with it. We were also unaware that they hold multiple events on the same day. That would not be a problem if in fact the venue would be setup on time for the next event. That did not happen. My team and I arrived 40 minutes early to offload so that we could start on time because time is of the essence. The venue was still setup for the previous event. Our time to begin setup was 4pm. The tables were not out until 430 which cut into our setup time. When one of the employees was putting the tables in the wrong places abd I corrected him he had an attitude. As we were setting up golfers were walking through the venue going in and out of the store which has a private entrance. We also had a few families come in because they were advised by management that it was OK to come during our setup and sew the venue. Courtesy woukd have been to ask if it were okay with us if they came in during that time. Because management was nowhere to be found to answer their questions I graciously stopped what I was doing to oblige them and help with what I could. The air in the venue was not working properly, all of the guest were sweating and uncomfortable, the cake had to be placed in the freezer because of the humidity.


One of the issues with this venue is that they need to hire an events team as a separate department. One person can't be everything. On the day of the floor plan because management had to help members on the course, run the bar and so many other things; he couldn't focus on what we had to do. And it took more time than it should have. And it doesn't help that he's only available 2 days a week but the time isn't set in stone. As if other people time doesn't mean anything.

Again beautiful clubhouse that could be great with the right motivated individuals to manage it and a great team with the right attitude to execute things.

Imagine your party is just getting started its 9p and the staff comes to tell you to shut your party down now...you look in disbelief at how insensitive these people are. You ask why...she says you have to be out by 10p. Ok I know that but its not 10p. She says well we need one hour to clean. I ask, "My contract says 10p and there is ZERO clause indicating you need one hour to clean." Now I am just angry. As she proceeds to angry with my sister about shutting down the party with an attitude like we didn't pay every dollar to host our event there, I instantly regret selecting this place and paying $3200 for next to nothing. How dare you speak to your customers this way and how dare you approach us with such coldness. The people here are trash, the place is beautiful but not worth it if you will be treated with such disrespect. We cleaned up in 30 minutes and without kicking our guest out. They left when they were ready and we were out at 10p like we had planned to be. New management needed again or extreme customer service sensitivity training is needed because clearly these people do not know how to run an attractive business. I will not golf and spend a dime in this community ever again. Maybe she didn't like to see our people happy. She should do something about that and not antagonize the customers. What a trash person.
