We absolutely loved working with Mark and Maiya. We did a 5‑pack of lessons with them for our wedding dance, and the entire experience was outstanding. When people ask me what my favorite part of our wedding was, one of my answers is always that our dance truly popped—and that’s thanks to them.

They were incredibly organized, responsive to every email, and handled all the scheduling seamlessly. They even helped us choose a song that perfectly embodied our relationship. From day one, they made us feel comfortable on the dance floor—no small feat, since I was pretty stiff when we started! They were collaborative throughout the process, and it was obvious they prepared between sessions.

They’re also just genuinely fun to be around. We miss hanging out with them now that the wedding is over. Their attention to detail was amazing—Mark would even pretend to be the MC announcing us as “Mr. and Mrs. Horwitz” so we could practice our entrance onto the dance floor. By the big day, we felt confident, brought the energy, and had zero nerves. Kaitlyn’s dress moved beautifully, and the final lift landed with real impact.

We originally came across King of Hearts on our Venue’s sister property’s preferred vendor list and we were truly so lucky to have had them as our wedding band! One of our biggest components on our wishlist was an action packed dance floor and King of Hearts delivered and then some. From our first call Mark was dialed in and was listening to every concern and question we had and immediately put our minds at ease. From ceremony through cocktail hour to the very end of our reception they have every aspect covered. They were even able to cut and mix songs for our dances so we got exactly what we wanted. We paired the band package we chose with their first dance lessons (shoutout to Maia!) and we are still getting compliments about how fun our first dance was, Maia gave us the blueprint and dance moves while still keeping everything true to us. On the day itself, KOH was a well oiled machine, hitting every cue for our ceremony music and playing all the songs we loved during our reception and did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping the party going. Mark was an absolutely perfect emcee and kept the night moving along and the dance floor FILLED. We cannot say enough great things about Mark and the KOH band and from guests to vendors the compliments were rolling in with how much fun our dance floor was. If you’re looking for a band and vendor that will bring the fun and energy while keeping everything organized and coordinated on the back end look no further than King of Hearts.

KOH was simply the best, and I'm not biased because it was my wedding. Every guest came up to us saying how incredible the band was. I can't imagine our wedding day without King of Hearts. When we saw them perform at a wedding before ours, we knew we had to have them at our own. They brought the energy and the room was absolutely electric when they performed. Everyone had so much fun and left on such a high. I knew the band were talented professionals from having seen them perform prior, but I was also so grateful for how easy they were to work with from start to finish - Mark is the best. I felt like we were in great hands the whole way through and we had a lot of fun collaborating on song choices and learning our first dance choreography with Mark and Maiya. There is nobody better than King of Hearts, top tier!!

How do we even begin to describe our friends at King of Hearts?! My wife and I did intensive research on every band option possible, and it was the charm, grace, warmth, and orientation to producing a custom experience--all clear from our first phone call with Mark--that sold us.

We had a number of special songs that needed to be played for important people in our guest list. Mark did not hesitate to collaboratively plan with us to ensure these surprises were delivered with ease. I also planned a flash mob for my fiance which involved the band playing in at the end over a pre recorded song and segueing into the full set without skipping a beat. Mark was game for all of it.

It's clear from the first time you talk to him, King of Hearts is this man's baby. He cares for it deeply and takes enormous pride in the finished product. And it shows.

Mark is also an exceptional speaker and host of sorts. In lieu of anyone else in that role, at the dinner Mark played host to introduce our best man speeches and other major moments, charming the entire tent of 170 guests. Multiple people approached me during and after the wedding day to ask about him--"Who IS this man?" they inquired. Everyone wanted to know!

The quality of the full band is top-notch. We contracted for 9 of them. It really made the night. Guest after guest came up to us while dancing to say what amazing energy the band set for the whole evening. Folks who *are not dancers* made their way to the dance floor--and stayed.

It's hard to have a critique of these folks! Even a small hiccup with our first dance song was seamlessly corrected within seconds and the rest of the night went off without a hitch. Big love to these guys! Don't hesitate to book them.

King of Hearts-Atlanta performed at my wedding this past September and they were absolutely incredible! The wedding was hosted at a vineyard in the mountains and KOH played live music that beautifully heightened the romantic vibe. They seamlessly transitioned from sweet, family-friendly tunes to an all-out party banger. People usually say, “There was not an empty seat in the house,” but in this case, there were empty seats abound because EVERYONE was on the dance floor. They effortlessly flowed through different genres, keeping the energy high all night. Plus, they worked perfectly with our friend who DJ'd a surprise set, and the MC kept the crowd fully engaged and excited. One standout moment was when the crowd got so hyped that they spontaneously started a Soul Train line; it looked so darn cool in our wedding photos and video! And having a live band during the bouquet toss? Such a unique and fun touch that made the moment extra special. KOH were consummate professionals, playing our must-haves, avoiding our don’t-plays (lol), and bringing a top-notch sound system. They dressed to impress and fit perfectly with our theme. Months later, family and friends are still talking about them. If you want a band that delivers unforgettable energy and lasting memories, King of Hearts is the way to go. Highly recommend!
