Mark is extremely organized and responsive, offered helpful guidance regarding the order of events, and was such a blast at the reception. I can't imagine our wedding day without King of Hearts. When we saw them perform at a wedding before ours, we knew we had to have them at our own. They brought the energy and the room was absolutely electric when they performed. Everyone had so much fun and left on such a high. I knew the band were talented professionals from having seen them perform prior, but I was also so grateful for how easy they were to work with from start to finish - Mark is the best. I felt like we were in great hands the whole way through and we had a lot of fun collaborating on song choices and learning our first dance choreography with Mark and Maiya. There is nobody better than King of Hearts, top tier!! -

How do we even begin to describe our friends at King of Hearts?! My wife and I did intensive research on every band option possible, and it was the charm, grace, warmth, and orientation to producing a custom experience--all clear from our first phone call with Mark--that sold us.
We had a number of special songs that needed to be played for important people in our guest list. Mark did not hesitate to collaboratively plan with us to ensure these surprises were delivered with ease. I also planned a flash mob for my fiance which involved the band playing in at the end over a pre recorded song and segueing into the full set without skipping a beat. Mark was game for all of it.
It's clear from the first time you talk to him, King of Hearts is this man's baby. He cares for it deeply and takes enormous pride in the finished product. And it shows.
Mark is also an exceptional speaker and host of sorts. In lieu of anyone else in that role, at the dinner Mark played host to introduce our best man speeches and other major moments, charming the entire tent of 170 guests. Multiple people approached me during and after the wedding day to ask about him--"Who IS this man?" they inquired. Everyone wanted to know!
The quality of the full band is top-notch. We contracted for 9 of them. It really made the night. Guest after guest came up to us while dancing to say what amazing energy the band set for the whole evening. Folks who *are not dancers* made their way to the dance floor--and stayed.
It's hard to have a critique of these folks! Even a small hiccup with our first dance song was seamlessly corrected within seconds and the rest of the night went off without a hitch. Big love to these guys! Don't hesitate to book them. -

We recently had the pleasure of having King of Hearts (KOH2) perform at our wedding in Manchester, VT, and we couldn’t have been happier with their performance. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic.
Mark, who worked closely with us in the months leading up to our wedding, was exceptional. His responsiveness, thoughtful approach, and attention to detail made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. He challenged us to think deeply about our song choices and made sure we were aligned on both the music we wanted and the music we didn’t.
The band performed a beautiful set during our ceremony, learning three new songs for us and playing them on guitar and saxophone. For the reception, we had a 7-piece band (plus a sound engineer and DJ). We told Mark it was important to us that they bring high energy—no slow songs, just nonstop dancing for over two hours—and they absolutely delivered. The band’s enthusiasm was contagious, and we could tell they were having just as much fun as we were. We may be biased, but we can’t imagine a more fun and energetic dance floor—and a lot of the credit goes to KOH.
What really sold us on KOH2 was their incredible ability to engage with the crowd. They get everyone involved. They will go onto the dance floor and put the mic in your guest’s face, or they will hand over a guitar to the groom (as they did for us), which might not be for everyone, but for us it made for the most memorable night we could imagine.
We wholeheartedly recommend Mark and KOH2 to anyone looking for a wedding band that will make your night truly unforgettable. -

Working with the King of Hearts Band for Gwen & Byron's wedding at The Bradley Estate was an absolute dream! From start to finish, their professionalism, talent, and energy were unmatched. They had a natural ability to read the crowd, creating the perfect atmosphere throughout the evening—from heartfelt moments during the first dance to a packed dance floor that kept guests celebrating all night long.
The music was phenomenal, and their stage presence was electric. Many of the guests couldn’t stop raving about how incredible the band was, and it’s safe to say they were one of the highlights of the day.

Hiring King of Hearts as our wedding band was seriously one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process. From the beginning, Mark was incredibly responsive and truly a joy to work with. We loved how they would learn 3 songs for us (most bands we spoke with would only learn 1 or 2) and they absolutely killed them - you would never have been able to tell they had just learned them in the couple of weeks before. They also have a vast and unique library of song choices, and allow you to select in advance what you would want them to play. On the actual wedding day, they showed up ready to go and everything went off without a hitch! From the sound system for the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception, everything went perfectly. They started off our reception with a few songs that truly got the party started and the dance floor really never stopped. All of our guests would not stop coming up to us and raving about how good the band was. We are so thankful to Mark and the phenomenal musicians of the King of Hearts band for bringing the dance floor wedding party vibes we had always dreamed of. We are so thankful to them for helping to make it the best night of our lives and would recommend them time and time again. -

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and an even better evening! King of Hearts Entertainment truly brought their A game to our wedding and did not disappoint. The band seamlessly transitioned through different genres, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long. Their professionalism and attention to detail ensured that our special day flowed smoothly. And our guests have continuously reached out telling us how much they loved our band.
They helped run the audio for our ceremony, we had a guitarist play during the cocktail hour, and they played music throughout our reception. They were instrumental in making sure the day flowed seamlessly, working closely with our officiant and wedding planner. We also had some custom requests throughout the ceremony and reception and they executed every ask we had flawlessly.
Our two favorite things about King of Hearts was 1. their professionalism in the pre-wedding meetings and 2. the vibes they brought to the night. They were thorough in the questions they asked in our meetings leading up to the wedding. This gave us so much confidence going into the day that they were on top of everything and were experts in what they do. But more importantly, the vibes during our reception were unbelievable, with Mark joining the crowd and dancing with us and our guests. Not to mention the quality of the music and skill of the band. Just SO GOOD!
King of Hearts Entertainment went above and beyond to create an amazing experience for us. Their passion for what they do truly shows through in their work. We are grateful for the unforgettable memories they helped us create on our wedding day.

King of Hearts was the absolute best and Mark was so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. Mark and the band took our first dance song and added their own twist to it to make it more of what we wanted and it was incredible! We were running behind on our schedule, but right when they were able to start playing the entire wedding ran to the dance floor because KOH was so electric! There was even middle-of-the-dance floor sax action as well as a behind-the-head guitar solo! They were great with our special song requests and played songs for people of all ages. I’d recommend King of Hearts to anybody looking to have an incredible band for any function!! -

Most Amazing, Lively, Entertaining Party Band Ever!!
King of Hearts is the most amazing band, and we were beyond thrilled with their services!
My husband and I got married at the Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden, VT in July 2024, and hired King of Hearts as our wedding band. They also did live music during our ceremony and our cocktail hour. We were so thrilled with them, truly could not be happier! They were a pleasure to work with and get to know prior to the wedding. They were easy to set meetings with, and they were able to learn the specific songs we wanted for our special moments (first dance, parent dances, processional and recessional during the ceremony). We also loved the extensive song list they have, and they played almost every song we had requested from the list. They also did not play any songs on our do not play list. They stayed totally consistent with the vibes we asked for and made the wedding of our dreams come true. They went all out during the reception, interacted with the crowd, got everyone pumped up, and made it the best night of our lives! I 100% highly recommend hiring this band for your wedding or event!! -

You do not need to look any further if you are looking for an outstanding live band for your wedding day. We knew King of Hearts was our band after our first phone call with Mark. The music they provide is like magic - your guests will be dancing and roaring to an atmosphere of upbeat fun, energy, and pure joy the night of your wedding. All of our guests raved about how incredible KOH was during our wedding. Aside from the music, we think it’s also important to specifically talk about working with Mark who leads the band. As most couples will figure out on their wedding planning journey, they will be working with a variety of vendors and a variety of different people. Mark is not only an insanely talented performer and musician, but he is also a true partner any couple could work with. Mark MC’d our wedding night and we could not have been more grateful for the help he provided in ensuring speeches and dancing went smoothly. He is someone you can talk through your ideas with and the overall vision you have for your wedding day - from the special dance songs to the general theme of what music you want played. We initially emailed Mark at the beginning of our planning and he responded super quick and hopped on the phone with us the very next day. From then on, we knew his band would provide the right soundtrack for our special day. Planning with Mark was even better. He knew the vibe we were looking for, helped us coordinate our ceremony music, emcee our reception, take special care of our special dances, and even a few requests. (Trust us when we tell you, this band nails everything from Chicago blues to Celine Dion!) The King of Hearts Band was truly unforgettable! From start to finish they were so professional and always had great communication. Mark was so enjoyable to work with. He met with us a number of times to go over all the details to make sure everything was perfect for our special day! He handled all of the coordinating with getting the band to the Spring House on Block Island, which is no easy task.
At our wedding, the band did a phenomenal job! From the jazz they played at cocktail hour, to the great introductions Leon gave during dinner/speeches, and to their amazing performance during the first dances and the remainder of the dancing, everything was perfect! We got some many compliments from our guests on how tremendous the band was! They were all so engaging and had extraordinary energy! They played such a great variety of songs that had the guests on the dance floor the entire night!
We would totally recommend having the King of Hearts as your wedding band! You will not be disappointed! They are a tremendous value that will take your wedding to the next level, making it a night you will never forget! Thank you again KOH, we have only great things to say :) -

Hire King of Hearts!
Hire this band! It will be one of the most talked about parts of your wedding. King of Hearts (KOH) is hands down the best wedding band in New England. They bring the energy of a rock concert to the wedding venue, and it is a contagious energy. Everyone at your wedding will be on the dance floor all night. One of the most impressive things about KOH is their range. They seamlessly transition from slow ballads to upbeat bangers, from oldies to pop and modern classics--and they sound absolutely spectacular in all of those genres and styles. This allowed us to request a range of songs for all the generations present on our guest list and really helped keep everyone interested in staying on the dance floor all night long.
Equally important, the band is incredibly well managed and thoughtful, so the entire process leading up to the actual wedding is easy and delightful. Mark and the band really take time to get to know you as a couple, including the type of music you most enjoy and the balance you want in your setlist. For our wedding, it was also a new venue for the band, and they reached out to our planner to do their own onsite visit with our planner several weeks before our wedding in order to fully understand the venue, set up, size, etc. Our planner specifically commented to us how appreciative she was that our band made that request of her, and how not every vendor would take such care to put in that extra effort. This anecdote should tell you everything you need to know about how much they will care and how hard they work to make your night perfect. -

10/10! Could not recommend King of Hearts more. We had called probably 6-8 bands in the beginning of our wedding planning process and all of those calls felt very transactional and not personalized. Then we got to Mark and KOH. Mark was so so great on the phone and throughout the entire planning process. He made us feel at ease, that no question was silly or dumb to ask and always got back to us in a very timely manor. The performance that KOH put on for our wedding was one of the ages that our guests are still talking about to this day. Entertainers in the purest form, their presence felt natural and engaged all night long. Kept the flow of the evening perfect, had their finger on the pulse when to speed it up or slow it down playing hit after hit and keeping the dance floor packed.
Additionally, from the beginning Mark was a professional in the truest form, frequently answering questions we had on room set up & timeline via email & phone calls. Extremely responsive and collaborative! He was a breath of fresh air in our planning process. Advised on things that would be nice touches and even where to save our money. The band was made up of several talented musicians who played a wide variety of music, from classic rock to pop. They were able to read the crowd and play the songs that we wanted to hear. They also did a great job of interacting with the guests and getting everyone up and dancing.
The band was also very professional and easy to work with. They were on time for the rehearsal and the wedding, and they were very accommodating to our requests.
Overall, I would highly recommend King of Hearts to anyone who is looking for a great wedding band. They were professional, talented, and fun, and they made our wedding day even more special.

King of Hearts and Mark are the best band you can have at your wedding. Across performance, professionalism, and punctuality, Mark and his crew were superb in all three aspects.
Performance – Mark and his crew had everyone dancing all night. Mark expertly read the crowd and kept the dance floor exciting. Further, Mark and his crew went out of his way to learn oldies to accommodate the various music preferences at our wedding. It honestly felt we had front seats at a concert where my wife and I were the VIPs. We personally believe that Mark and his crew of talented musicians are the best performers we have seen at weddings, and we have been to many weddings.
Professionalism – Mark and his crew were true professionals at heart. Their instruments and equipment sounded flawless all night. They adjusted all the volume ahead of time to ensure we had the perfect sound quality for speeches and songs. Mark and his crew went above and beyond set up instruments and speakers at our ceremony for a special performance from our family members. Mark and his crew were flawless in their performance.
Punctuality – Wedding can be a hectic day with many time changes, and our wedding was not the exception. Mark and his crew were always ready ahead of time, and they were always accommodating when changes happened. Mark and his crew were beyond punctual, and we truly thank them for their flexibility.
At our wedding, we had friends asking for Mark’s contact information, and I think it speaks volumes to how good of a band King of Hearts and Mark are. We were blessed to have Mark and King of Hearts at our wedding, and 10/10 we would ask them again. -

King of Hearts went above and beyond for our wedding and we are so happy that we hired them for our big day. Working with Mark, the band manager, on the details leading up to the wedding was a breeze as he was incredibly responsive and very easy to work with. He responded timely to all of our questions and was very organized. I requested for one of my bridesmaids to perform a song with the band, and my mother in law had requested for a family member to surprise us with another performance, and Mark and the band made it happen seamlessly. The band provided the equipment for our ceremony and played our selected music from spotify. The ceremony went off without a hitch. The band did a phenomenal job setting the tone of our wedding reception. Leon was a fantastic MC as well as a lead singer. Deb was the co-lead singer and they sounded amazing together as well as solo. We had them learn three songs for us and each was executed beautifully. Our guests also loved how the lead guitarist played in the middle of the dancefloor and let us strum away on his guitar. The band was very interactive and high energy which is just what we wanted to get the crowd going and keep the dancefloor grooving all night long. We received such high remarks from our guests about our wedding band, so thank you King of Hearts for an unforgettable night! You made our wedding so special and we can't thank you enough! -

We got married at the Mountain Top in Vermont over Labor Day Weekend, and choosing a band was one of our top priorities. We looked into and interviewed close to ten different bands, and ultimately chose KOH for a number of reasons – and are SO glad we did!! Our goal was to have every age group on our guest list – from 8 year old cousins to our 80 year old grandma – out on the dance floor, and it happened!! Our guests are STILL raving about the music and performance 4 months later. KOH read the room at every turn, and played the perfect mix of top 40 and oldies to keep the crowd LOVING it! Mark is also an incredible emcee, and managed the entire flow of the reception so smoothly, transitioning from speeches to dinner to dancing to cake cutting without missing a beat. One of the big reasons I initially chose KOH was because my very first phone call was with Mark, the lead singer AND my main point of contact throughout the entire planning process. This was so important to me because I knew nothing would slip through the cracks or get lost in translation between someone handling bookings/details and the actual band, which can happen with bigger operations. Mark was patient, kind, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. And at our actual wedding, he and the rest of the team CRUSHED it! He also handled sound for our outdoor ceremony, and if you're getting married at the Mountain Top I definitely recommend having KOH take care of this. It was truly the best day of our lives, and King of Hearts brought the reception to an entirely different level. If you're on the fence about hiring them, this is your sign to DO IT! Supremely talented and so much fun! This amazing band played at my sister's wedding and I knew immediately who to reach out to when we began our planning process. This band rocked! They brought energy, enthusiasm, and talent to our wedding and got people grooving! We were told many times by our guests in the days and weeks that followed how much they enjoyed the band and being on the dance floor. King of Hearts was an extraordinary band and exceeded any hope we could have had. I had friends commenting for weeks on how much they loved the performances. From their piano playing during the ceremony to the solo guitar at cocktail hour to Mark's incredible emcee work to the whole band bringing the house down with their performances through the night, every single aspect of what they could offer went perfectly. What a gift it was to work with them. They had a friend of mine (one of our guests) who had literally told his wife on their wedding day, “remember this day because I will not dance again,” to dance. And he danced a lot! Everyone was on their feet having a ball, and it was thanks to King of Hearts being so wonderful. I’ve been to a lot of weddings. It is the rare one when people dance every opportunity of the night. And I should mention working with Mark was easy through the whole process, and they were so accommodating when we had to postpone due to the pandemic by a year. If you're reading this review, do yourself a favor and book them. We'd just show up to their concerts if we could; they're that spectacular. -

Planning a wedding in 2020 was truly an exercise in terror. Constantly shifting guidelines as to the number of guests allowed, states placed on quarantine lists, threats of fines scaring off vendors, family from out of state afraid to travel, and even bans on live music and dancing nearly sent my daughter, a "Covid bride"as she called herself, over the edge. The one constant in all of it, the one thing I never had to worry about, was Mark and the "King of Hearts" band. We went from a large hall with 175 guests that balked when the state restricted it to 50, then backed out completely when we insisted on live music. The second venue was all in until three weeks before the wedding date, when they too decided that live music might lead to dancing. Despite assurances that we would test all guests, maintain social distancing and wear masks, they suggested that instead we play parlor games and have a trivia contest. Ridiculous. Option number three: we erected a tent in my yard, trailered in bathrooms, a generator, set up the caterer in my garage and it was a huge success. Mark stuck with me through every step, never hesitating once when the proposed venues made him travel farther, the hall shrank to a tent, and we added on cocktail hour music and ceremony music at the last minute. He responded quickly to every email, and was an absolute pleasure to correspond with. He is, in addition to being an extraordinarily pleasant young man, a consummate performer with charm, talent and stage presence in abundance. The big advantage to dealing with KOH is you are dealing directly with Mark. There is no management group acting as a middle man and piecing together bands from a portfolio of musicians. My other daughter was married last year and KOH was not available. We went through a management group and the band that showed up on her wedding day did not have one member who was on their audition video. This is usually the case with most bands and Mark did inform us that his other musicians change out as their contracts expire and their schedules change. He draws from his Berklee School of Music contacts, a talented pool of musicians. But talented as they are, the lead vocals make or break your band and Mark and his female lead were simply outstanding. From Bruno Mars to Frank Sinatra, from Norah Jones to Whitney Houston they seamlessly morphed from one style to the next and kept the party going, causing one guest to remark that they were chameleons, bending their voices to fit the genre. Rap to rock, R&B to standards, folk to funk, they do it all and do it well. Mark charmed the crowd with his personality and wowed them with his vocals. At one point, a testament to how well KOH was received, he himself remarked that it seemed like there were a lot more than 50 guests attending, the dance floor was so busy.
And another thing: don't waste your time looking for local bands or insisting on a band out of New York City. Boston is where it's at when it comes to wedding bands. With Berklee and NE Conservatory in town, the talent pool is astounding and the value is unbeatable. KOH is consistently rated as one of the best and for good reason. Book them now, because when the coronavirus becomes a distant memory, Mark and KOH will be in demand. Trust me, this kid is going places. Have him play your wedding so some day you can tell your kids "I knew him when...."

Mark and his band "The King of Hearts" were fantastic!!
We had to re-plan and re-schedule our way through the Covid-19 year and as painful as that was, Mark guided us with the fairness of the true gentleman that he is.
For those of you planning a wedding and trying to save money by going with a DJ ~ DON'T!!!
They learned "Sledge Hammer" for the groom and killed it... The woman vocalist enchanted my wife and I with Etta James, "At Last" and then they got dance party started, rocking us with "Up Town Funk!"
We started this journey with 200 guests at the Hyport Club and ended it with just under 50 in our back yard. My wife and I were scared it wouldn't match our other kids weddings but with their help the Guests literally danced for 4 solid hours!!
Quite simply, "The King of Hearts" made my daughter's wedding great! -

Mark & King of Hearts band were amazing!! They truly made our wedding. Hiring the perfect band was super important to us. Mark was so easy to work with - prompt & professional. The band knocked it out of the park! They played some special songs just for us and even added an a few extras to make it even better. Our guests were on the dance floor all night. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a band. We can't thank them enough! -

Hire them!
Where do we even start!? If you're sitting there looking at your wedding budget, wondering if booking KOH is worth the investment, DO IT. My husband and I fell in love with King Of Hearts from the first moment we heard them. Mark’s energy is absolutely captivating and every member of the band is so down to earth and talented. Mark dealt with (what seemed like millions) of emails back and forth with questions and was always super responsive and helpful. He even took the time to meet with us prior (we were local) and not only review the questions we had about the wedding day, but simply get to know us as people. Our wedding day was absolutely magical. And while almost every bride in the world can say “It was the best day of my life everything was perfect.” I’m here to tell you that King Of Hearts truly made our wedding complete. Their vocals speak for themselves, they know exactly how to play to the crowd, and best of all they are all GREAT people. My nana didn't get off the dance floor all night- and even now I have people calling me up asking the name of the band and saying it was the best wedding band they've ever heard! I do not have enough good things to say about Mark and the entire KOH band. We found KOH on YouTube and booked them within an hour. In one of the prior reviews someone wrote "I wish I could get divorced and married all over again, just to have KOH play at my wedding again" and that had us SOLD! Mark was so great to work with - he was responsive, offered great insight, and accommodated everything we wanted (even learning two new songs within 10 days of the wedding)! Our wedding guests have not stopped talking about KOH saying it was the best time they've ever had at a wedding. The dance floor was packed from the second they started playing to the second it ended. I'm so thankful we had them at our wedding and can't imagine having anyone else! Thanks Mark and KOH band!!
