I can't thank Kathryn enough for all that she did for my wedding. We had a May wedding with a freak storm, and Kathryn kept me calm and explained our options for the rain. And her product is amazing, she is a true artist. My husband and I are not photogenic people, and we love how our photos turned out. You can feel the love looking at the photos, and every one takes me back to that night!! I would recommend Kathryn for any photography work, but especially weddings.

A Calming Presence On Your Wedding Day
Katie is a total gem in the wedding industry. As a wedding planner I've worked with her numerous times. Each times she brings a sense of professionalism and comfort to the client and vendor team as a whole. I appreciate how she communicates, attends site visits, and goes above and beyond to ensure the client is happy, which is of course always the end goal. Fantastic Photographer
We have loved working with Katie! Planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful and Katie’s relaxed, caring nature was so appreciated. And when my family had a number of last minute changes and challenges right before the wedding, Katie was never flustered. Katie is not only great to work with, but her photography style is absolutely stunning with a combination of candid, editorial and artful photos. Both the guests and wedding party enjoyed working with Katie. She perfectly captured all the important moments while staying behind the scenes. In fact, I often forgot she was even there. Two days after the wedding, Katie sent us preview photos that were gorgeous. I would be happy with just the preview photos but can’t wait to see the final prints!

For light, natural photos that capture your true joy, Katie's ya gal
OK so that was a long headline but bear with me: When looking for a photographer, my now-husband and I decided we didn't want photos that looked like an Instagram sepia filter had been slapped on, hiding the surroundings of the day. With the hope of staying local to Nevada County, we found Katie and are so happy we did. We loved how bright and cheerful her photos were, and are so happy that she captured that with ours. We are terrible at modeling for pictures but she helped us through, making us feel comfortable and less awkward than we are by nature. Despite a rescheduling because of the pandemic, planning and working with her was a breeze. She is a beautiful soul who we hope to have capture our family in the future.

My husband and I loved working with Kate! Not only are all the pictures we have beautiful and perfect but she was awesome to work with.
She made us feel comfortable in-front of the camera and was able to capture the real us.

The best experience you will have and the best photos!
Katie is a wonderfully talented and creative photographer, we were so blessed to have our paths cross back in 2015. She is so kind and has a real talent for capturing special moments with a dreamy organic feel plus I love that she encourages imaginativeness! She really gets to know her clients and I’m happy that I made a new friend in Katie! Hands down she is awesome, we have been lucky enough to have our pictures done by Katie three times and plan on collaborating with her for all of our future milestones!

Talent meets kindness
The first thing I think about when I think of Katie is that she is a total sweetheart. As a wedding planner in Northern CA I’ve referred and worked with Katie on my past weddings.
I continue to recommend her as a photographer to my clients because she is always such a pleasure to work with. She makes my couples feel confident, comfortable and has a beautiful way of showing the entire wedding day from start to finish through her photographs.
Her style is absolutely beautiful, and she tells a story from the first image to the last, truly capturing the couples personalities.
Katie will always be a preferred vendor of mine! I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer.

Amazing photographer with heart
Kate made our intimate wedding celebration an even more special day. We had a small civil ceremony in Sonoma with just family and a few friends and she captured our special moments beautifully. She is friendly and professional, a combination that is much appreciated. Leading up to our day, she was responsive and easy to work with, helping us plan our schedule and logistics. On the day of she was flexible when needed (a trait that was especially needed when you have an impromptu wedding parade around your town square as we did!). She also works with heart and you can tell it is meaningful to her to capture your relationship and special moments (not just go through the motions of taking photos). My husband and I cannot recommend Kate enough! We are so happy to have found her and will definitely be using her to capture our future special moments!

Beyond happy!
Kate photographed my wedding and she did an absolutely amazing job. She captured everything I asked for and then some, turning out truly beautiful photos. I even threw her a curve ball asking for a certain filter to be applied to photos to achieve a specific look and even though she had never done it before, she did it perfectly. On top of that Kate is such a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend Kate!!
