Vanessa took the time to really understand all the nuances of our fusion wedding. In the run up to the events, she was incredibly helpful at ironing out timelines, insurance, and other questions we hadn't even realized we needed to answer. When the wedding rolled around, we were able to completely empty our brains of the logistics and just enjoy the moment - Vanessa kept everything perfectly organized. She and her team were so incredibly kind and helpful on the day of. If our families needed anything, someone was there to help them with it. The whole team went above and beyond.

Katya was the best addition to our wedding. She helped guide us in decision making, how to help our vision come to life, and prevented us from being overwhelmed. Our wedding was out of state - but that was no challenge to Katya. She is detailed oriented and extremely organized. She handles communication through any platform.
I appreciated her most when she guided us through decision making calmly. She let's us think and talk it out, before providing input. She helped match our premium flower vision to be more budget friendly and guided us on what was worth spending extra cost on vs what would not be noticed by guests.
Most of all, our actual wedding day was stress free. Karma provides a timed schedule and layout - there were 0 surprises. She talked directly to vendors, while also confirming payments. As a couple with high stress jobs, this was an amazing benefit. I was able to enjoy being a bride and the 'getting ready' experience. She handled all vendors, family questions, venue items and helped move set up/teardown items. This allowed our family to also just be guests instead of helping do the set up or making sure vendors had arrived. This meant, we also had a much smoother schedule - the whole family was on time.

For context, my husband and I were living in New York and in the middle of a move/starting new jobs in medicine while planning a destination wedding in Miami. He is Indian and my family is South American. Vanessa & her right hand, Katya, gave us the cultural fusion wedding of our dreams.

Choosing Karma Goddess as our planning team was by far our best decision in wedding planning. I'd say the #1 reason would be how Vanessa & Katya were able to read our personalities and really cater their guidance to how my husband and I best made decisions. A close second reason would be how available/flexible Vanessa was for the entire 1.5 years we worked with her. Vanessa held many evening and weekend meetings and never made us feel rushed. We often thought back to the many planners we interviewed who said they would have a set number of meetings with us and that blew our minds. We probably talked to Vanessa almost every day via phone or text in the weeks leading up to our wedding. As far as connections, they found us discounts or affordable recommendations in Miami that easily made working with them worthwhile.

Being in medicine, neither of us had a clue about design or event planning. Vanessa organized everything while still letting us make all the decisions. She found a way to present just enough variety of options without overwhelming us. By the end of our time together, she was already predicting what we would pick with complete accuracy :) They are extremely passionate about what they do, and genuinely enjoy problem solving and getting creative.

We only had to visit Miami twice (a plus for us as we were swamped with our new jobs) but they would have welcomed us as many times as we wanted. We had the best time venue touring and food tasting with Vanessa and Katya. We hung out with them extra because we genuinely enjoyed spending time with them.

The wedding days (this was a 3 day Indian fusion wedding) would not have gone as smoothly without them. When we ran into issues with the hotel, Vanessa and her team quickly solved them with a phone call. We later found out she also put out fires that we didn't even notice at the time. We get so many compliments on the design, food, and organization of our wedding and give Vanessa and her team all of the credit. We were in total awe when we saw how our reception space turned out in person.
