IN RESPONSE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW BY "ANONYMOUS" - "Potential Client (NOT A CLIENT)" wanted to project a "Slide Show" on a BIG MOVIE SCREEN which is an "add-on item". We include a 55" LCD TV with a DVD player in the package (at no additional cost). We also include in the package, HIGH END SYSTEMS STAGE DOWN LIGHTING which allows us to change the room to any color (at no additional cost). We also include in the package all the SPEAKERS AND DJ EQUIPMENT (at no additional cost); which should be a cost savings to the Client. The DJ's fee ("to play music" - not included in package) as a result should be considerably low. We also have 1 RESTROOM on the 1st floor and 3 RESTROOMS on the 2nd floor. Furthermore, we are an Event Space (not a Catering Hall) which hosts an array of events; as a result, we can only offer limited tables and chairs. To close, prior to a tour of KAI studio, rates and package information is sent to all inquires. Be advise, if you wish to "add-on items" that is not offered in the package; you will be charged for such items. KAI studio is modern posh venue that offers a great package at below market rate. Our package also includes "White Glove Service" from Conception to Completion (at no additional cost).

Not recommended! The receptionist or whoever she is is extremely unprofessional. I submitted a request via WeddingWire and never received a response so I gave the venue a call to perhaps get all my questions on rates, inclusions, availability, etc answered directly. When I called, Sharen or whatever her name was (receptionist I assume), seemingly had no knowledge of how to respond via WeddingWire and claimed they were getting a bounced email (this venue is the FIRST and ONLY time anyone had stated any issues with WeddingWire site). However, claimed she would try again and send the response shortly. After several hours passed, I never received the response so I figured to call again so she was aware….but all my calls have been ignored since. I then figured maybe give it some more time and call back in a couple days, so I did and no answer. I forgot to mention after the initial call she personally texted me asking for my email address to send a direct email (instead of via WeddingWire) so couple days later I responded to that text again with an update that I still didn’t receive the email she said she would send.
Could you believe, I just received a rude text message from her now stating I need to visit their website, go to the rates page (which doesn’t provide any information and solely submits an inquiry form) in order to receive a response for all the details she ALREADY had given she was able to view my initial inquiry via WeddingWire and we discussed a few things via phone.
The unprofessionalism in answering such a BASIC inquiry is all the information I need on this venue. I saw a poor review on WeddingWire and figured maybe it was an isolated event and to give the venue a chance BUT after the rude response, delays in forwarding the requested information, failure to answer basic questions and disgusting service…. I would not recommend this venue because clearly management would be a nightmare in dealing with. Good luck!

This place is too expensive for what you get, the ownwer charge for everything. One of the selling pitch was the lighting and DJ equipment being already there, but that don't save the customer anything because the DJ still is going to charge for playing your event, and the owner charges you an Arm and Leg for turning those lights on!!! This Vendor charge for EVERTHING I was almost scared to breathe in this place I was almost sure she would charge for air. The space is huge but it has only 1 bathroom on the ground floor and 2 two upstairs. For almost $6,000.00 all she offer her customers for that large space is 10 tables and 40 banquet style chairs, so you would also have to rent furniture to fill that space!. I want to do a slide show that would have been an extra $800.00 for a 6 minute slide show to play. I just think for the price, your can find a venue just as nice and just as big!. Because all this venue offer is space TRUST ME YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING ELSE!!
