Hi my name is Joey! I am located in Walden, New York, specializing in wedding and event photography. I provide lots of energy and love the excitement that comes with working with couples and families. My goal is to empower and strengthen the relationships between couples and their families and ensure my professional photos translate that close love between them. Services Offered
I work within the Hudson Valley region of New York but am also willing to travel to your destination wedding. I like to meet with couples early on and forge a close relationship with them. My work is portrayed in a natural style and can work additional hours, as needed. A second photographer is available to capture different angles of those important moments. Before the wedding, I can take engagement photos and wedding portraits as well. Couples will then receive their high-resolution photos as digital files.

Working with Joey Place Photography was one of the easiest decisions we made, when it came to wedding planning. From start to finish, he made everything so simple for us. Talking with him prior to our engagement photos, you could hear the excitement and confidence in his voice.
Joey made the best recommendations and sent us a style guide to help us decide on the 'look' we were going for. Every suggestions Joey had made, created the most romantic photos. When it came time to planning the photos for our wedding day, Joey had taken extreme care in asking for our expectations. Joey captured every moment perfectly. I felt like I was fallng in love all over again. My husband, who hates getting his photo taken, even enjoyed the entire experience. Joey absolutely exceeded all expectations. After working with him through this experience, I feel like he is a part of our family I cannot recommend Joey enough!

Joey The Best Wedding Photographer EVER!
Joey is the best person to work with, from the very start he made sure that my husband & I were comfortable with anything & everything! From the way I wanted to look in my pictures & to helping me learn new poses! To taking the best wedding photos I could have ever asked for, they were everything and more. He has the best energy from start to finish and we had a lonnnng exhausting wedding day but he pushed through making everyone laugh & enjoy themselves in the moment while still capturing them. -

My husband and I did a post-paperwork photoshoot to mark the occasion, since we opted not to have a ceremony this year. We reached out to Joey, and he was super responsive, friendly, FUNNY, professional, and totally relaxed us because I was so nervous about doing my part "correctly!"
