My husband and I loved Joanna. Like, everything about her. During our wedding planning, she was professional, reliable, and friendly. We were clueless in this area, had no idea where to begin in this process, and had presented her with a long list of things we didn't like and a very tiny list of things we did like. While I think we're pretty pleasant people to deal with, I don't think we made this job very easy for Joanna. But it didn't hold her back at all. She did an outstanding job.

In the earlier stages of our ceremony planning, there were two questionnaires we had to fill out. One was about our ceremony in general and one was about us as a couple. It was easy enough because it didn't feel like we were writing a wedding ceremony, just that we were answering a survey. No pressure.

But ultimately, with our two sets of answers, Joanna wrote us the most perfect ceremony, that we received many, many compliments on. It unforgettable, sweet, anecdotal, funny at times, tear-inducing at other times, 100% "us," and totally different from any other wedding ceremony I have ever heard.

I cannot recommend Joanna enough. She was, by far, one of my very favorite wedding vendors and one of the few that, now that my wedding is over, I actually kind of miss! I highly recommend her; you will not be disappointed.

We absolutely LOVED working with Joanna. When we first met with her, she asked so many thoughtful questions which prompted my husband and I to think deeply about our bond and our relationship, all which helped her to eventually craft a ceremony that was personal, detailed, and so very "us." I teared up numerous times as my husband and I read through her first draft - I could not believe how beautifully she had captured the specifics of our relationship. Joanna also met with us a few days before our wedding to make sure she had every detail down before the big day, ensuring that our ceremony was perfect once our wedding day arrived.

On the day of the wedding, Joanna delivered a beautiful ceremony. We received compliment after compliment from so many guests about our ceremony, and specifically about what a wonderful job Joanna had done. For us, it was so very important that we have a special ceremony, as we never wanted to lose sight of what was most significant about our wedding day - the special union between my husband and me, and the lifelong commitment we were making. Joanna absolutely delivered a gorgeous and unforgettable ceremony that my husband and I will forever cherish. We 110% recommend her!!!

Joanna was the best! From our first meeting, we felt that she really understood us as a couple and the kind of ceremony we wanted to have. The ceremony she wrote was funny and beautiful and really spoke to us. We got so many comments later in the night about how great Joanna did. She was super sweet and very professional and I would definitely recommend her to anyone else getting married.

Joanna was one of the best things about our wedding -- she wrote a beautiful, personal, touching and funny ceremony that was tailored to my husband and I. Everyone complimented our officiant and the ceremony -- and many people told us that they cried during the wedding! Joanna is so easy to work with, she is flexible, and always prompt, and just a very calming presence on the wedding day. I know that I will remember the ceremony as one of the highlights of the wedding, and many of my guests will too!

I can't say enough positive things about Joanna. We had originally planned on eloping to NYC and finding an officiant who would perform a standard, "easy" ceremony, thinking that the specialness of the day would be marked by the fact that we were married. When looking for someone my wife found Joanna's ad, and we are so incredibly happy that we did find her. Instead of a ceremony that simply got the job done, Joanna crafted a beautiful, thoughtful, personal service that we will always remember. Working with her was a joy. From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands. Through the whole process she was always responsive, knowledgable, sensitive, and asked questions that helped us to look at our wedding and its meaning in a deeper way. So highly recommended!

If you are looking for a very personal and touching ceremony then i highly recommend Joanna Fernandes. Joanna worked with my husband and I in creating a ceremony that not only my self and husband will never forget but our guests will never forget as well, especially from my husbands family, whom is from out of state. It not only explained our promises to one another but told the story of who we are as a couple which was very moving to the people who do not get to see us regularly. I continue to receive compliments and i'm sure i'll be hearing them for a long time!
