I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this aspect of the process enjoyable and seamless. It is to use my twelve years of professional experience to tell your story and to guide you every step of the way. From our first phone call to our wedding day Jillian made us feel comfortable and confident in her ability to capture all of our important moments throughout this precious chapter! She truly cares about her relationship with her clients and is so easy to work with. Both our engagement and wedding day photos are pictures we will truly cherish for the rest of our lives. I have never been confident in photos and was a little nervous to make a big investment but boy did it pay off. We love every single shot taken. Jillian and her mom were so lovely on our wedding day. Not only did they capture our day perfectly but at one point were literally scrubbing mud out of my dress on hands and knees after I accidentally got my train muddy. Just one example of how they will truly go above and beyond for you. We are excited to hire Jillian for more of our big life chapters. Best Photographer!
Our wedding planner introduced us to Jillian, our wedding photographer. She is extremely kind and easy to work with. For our engagement shoot, she was willing to shoot wherever we wanted, even internationally! We decided to keep it close to home on the UNC campus, but were stunned with how the photos came out... but the wedding photos were even better. Jillian and her team worked tirelessly to capture every moment. She is the best at getting candid photos that help to show the raw emotion of the day. We can’t wait to pick out photos to put around our new home; the only problem we have is that there are so many to choose from! We highly recommend Jillian to anyone looking for a kind, flexible, hard-working and talented photographer for their wedding day.

Pictures we will treasure forever
I had searched relentlessly for a photographer that would timelessly capture our day in a way that would remind us not only of how beautiful the day was, but how we felt in those moments. Jillian did all of this and more. When we opened our gallery, it was like reliving our wedding day all over again (and even capturing some things we missed!) You could feel that Jillian had our best interests in mind and truly wanted us to have the best day of our lives. This at times, involved going above and beyond what was required of her and for that, we can’t say thank you enough Jill!

Wonderful Photogrpaher!
From the second we spoke to Jillian, we felt like she would be the perfect fit for us. For our engagement photos, Jillian came to our house to include our cats and dogs in the photos. Last minute, we decided to do a small elopement in Lake Como, Italy and we reached out to Jillian about a month before to see if she was available, and she agreed to join us. She did a beautiful job capturing this special moment, even climbing on the roof of the boat to capture epic pictures out on the lake. She recently captured our June wedding in Raleigh, and we love that all of our picture will be cohesive. Every time we have worked with her, she has made us feel at ease and comfortable in front on the camera.

Outstanding Wedding Photographer
Not only do I highly recommend Jillian Knight Photography but I look forward to the day my second daughter gets married so we have the honor and privilege of being the recipient of her immense talent once again! Jillian Knight Photography is simply the best and Jillian herself is like no other in her ability to capture not just the moment but the emotion behind the moment.
From the beginning, Jillian listened intently to understand our vision and desires, willingly worked closely with our other vendors to incorporate the overall vibe of the event and made sure she had personal experience with the venues for layout, space and lighting. She was highly organized and unobtrusive allowing for the day to unfold naturally while capturing every important moment.
Jillian has a skilled and artful eye that she layers on the everyday. In her own words, in reference to her choice of film, “It allows me to focus and anticipate those peak emotional moments rather than fire off a bunch of mediocre digitals shots and hope one turns out nicely. It’s amazing what happens when you’re forced to artfully compose and thoughtfully anticipate moments”
We could not be more pleased with the gorgeous wedding pictures from our daughter’s wedding. They are all perfection!

Phenomenal service!
We used Jill for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding photos and could not recommend her enough. She is incredibly patient, kind, and creative - most of all, she truly cares about her clients. She made me feel at ease throughout the whole wedding planning process and was such a calming presence the day of our wedding. Jill is a top notch professional and seriously gifted at what she does!

An absolute must
Working with Jill has been a 3 year long Covid related drawn out journey and I couldn’t be more thankful that after all these years we finally got to have her capture our wedding day. I was referred to her by numerous friends for whom she captured their weddings, deployment homecomings, and family portraits. Since then I’ve seen her diversify her portfolio becoming a doula only adding to the experience her maternity/newborn clients will receive.I joked with my husband that if we live in North Carolina when we start a family we’re hiring Jill for her doula/photography services and he easily agreed.
She is incredibly well rounded with a diverse range of client types, invests in her education and connections as seen by the numerous events she partakes in, and is overall the most comforting person to be around. She makes everyone feel like family but was still strong in her professionalism helping me dictate family photos the way I had planned on my wedding day. She was excellent with communication over the past 3 years, had a very detailed day of schedule ready, sought feedback from our engagement shoot to better our wedding day experience (we had no negative feedback!) and overall was the easiest vendor to work with. My wedding was in California with a three hour time difference, heat in the 90’s and a long full day event but Jill and her 2nd shooter (her mom who was the absolute sweetest) captured every moment I could have hoped for. The experience you’ll get with Jill is only matched by the product she produces and I couldn’t recommend her enough

Simply amazing!
We had a maternity shoot and newborn photos done about a year ago and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the photos! Jillian had great suggestions on location and knew exactly how to capture the perfect photos for the maternity shoot. She was also amazing with our newborn and made us feel so at ease during the shoot. The photos were gorgeous and are so special to us. She was also super responsive, and got our photos back to us well within the quoted time. We can’t wait to have Jillian capture more photos for us in the future!

From the first time we spoke on the phone, Jill had my fiancé and my full confidence. She is so welcoming + takes the time to get to know your love story, what you want captured, and what style you gravitate towards. Our engagement photo shoot was so relaxed, fun, and “us”! Jill has such an eye and captured some incredible small + tender moments that we will have forever. We can’t wait to see what she creates and captures on our wedding day! Jill is also so thoughtful of your time and is quick to respond if you ever have questions or need her. She’s the kind of photographer and wedding vendor that you secretly hope becomes your friend. Highly recommend
We had family photos taken by Jillian this fall and we had the best experience! She was responsive and helpful in scheduling and even in helping coordinate our outfits. During the shoot, she was personable, and easy to feel comfortable around. She was absolutely amazing interacting with our 18 month old son. He automatically took to her and therefore he was a dream during the session! Jillian helped us find natural, sweet, and photogenic poses and she helped pick the most beautiful outdoor location and time of day. We are so excited to see the final product of the photos and we cannot recommend her services enough.
