Best photographer out there
From our first phone call to our wedding day Jillian made us feel comfortable and confident in her ability to capture all of our important moments throughout this precious chapter! She truly cares about her relationship with her clients and is so easy to work with. Both our engagement and wedding day photos are pictures we will truly cherish for the rest of our lives. I have never been confident in photos and was a little nervous to make a big investment but boy did it pay off. We love every single shot taken. Jillian and her mom were so lovely on our wedding day. Not only did they capture our day perfectly but at one point were literally scrubbing mud out of my dress on hands and knees after I accidentally got my train muddy. Just one example of how they will truly go above and beyond for you. We are excited to hire Jillian for more of our big life chapters. Thank you for allowing us to relive our perfect day over and over. We love you! -

Our wedding planner introduced us to Jillian, our wedding photographer. She is extremely kind and easy to work with. For our engagement shoot, she was willing to shoot wherever we wanted, even internationally! We decided to keep it close to home on the UNC campus, but were stunned with how the photos came out... but the wedding photos were even better. Jillian and her team worked tirelessly to capture every moment. She is the best at getting candid photos that help to show the raw emotion of the day. We can’t wait to pick out photos to put around our new home; the only problem we have is that there are so many to choose from! We highly recommend Jillian to anyone looking for a kind, flexible, hard-working and talented photographer for their wedding day.

I had searched relentlessly for a photographer that would timelessly capture our day in a way that would remind us not only of how beautiful the day was, but how we felt in those moments. Jillian did all of this and more. When we opened our gallery, it was like reliving our wedding day all over again (and even capturing some things we missed!) You could feel that Jillian had our best interests in mind and truly wanted us to have the best day of our lives. This at times, involved going above and beyond what was required of her and for that, we can’t say thank you enough Jill! -

From the first time we spoke on the phone, Jill had my fiancé and my full confidence. She is so welcoming + takes the time to get to know your love story, what you want captured, and what style you gravitate towards. Our engagement photo shoot was so relaxed, fun, and “us”! Jill has such an eye and captured some incredible small + tender moments that we will have forever. We can’t wait to see what she creates and captures on our wedding day! Jill is also so thoughtful of your time and is quick to respond if you ever have questions or need her. She’s the kind of photographer and wedding vendor that you secretly hope becomes your friend. Not only do I highly recommend Jillian Knight Photography but I look forward to the day my second daughter gets married so we have the honor and privilege of being the recipient of her immense talent once again! Jillian Knight Photography is simply the best and Jillian herself is like no other in her ability to capture not just the moment but the emotion behind the moment.
From the beginning, Jillian listened intently to understand our vision and desires, willingly worked closely with our other vendors to incorporate the overall vibe of the event and made sure she had personal experience with the venues for layout, space and lighting. She was highly organized and unobtrusive allowing for the day to unfold naturally while capturing every important moment.
Jillian has a skilled and artful eye that she layers on the everyday. In her own words, in reference to her choice of film, “It allows me to focus and anticipate those peak emotional moments rather than fire off a bunch of mediocre digitals shots and hope one turns out nicely. It’s amazing what happens when you’re forced to artfully compose and thoughtfully anticipate moments”
We could not be more pleased with the gorgeous wedding pictures from our daughter’s wedding. They are all perfection!

Jill is nothing short of amazing. Our engagement session with her was comfortable and personal. She spent so much time with us on that day to make sure we got the most beautiful set of photos. She was able to edit and turn around the photos in a short amount of time after our session and we could not be happier with how the pictures turned out. 10 out of 10 would recommend Jill for any photography needs. Working with Jill has been a 3 year long Covid related drawn out journey and I couldn’t be more thankful that after all these years we finally got to have her capture our wedding day. I was referred to her by numerous friends for whom she captured their weddings, deployment homecomings, and family portraits. Since then I’ve seen her diversify her portfolio becoming a doula only adding to the experience her maternity/newborn clients will receive.I joked with my husband that if we live in North Carolina when we start a family we’re hiring Jill for her doula/photography services and he easily agreed.
She is incredibly well rounded with a diverse range of client types, invests in her education and connections as seen by the numerous events she partakes in, and is overall the most comforting person to be around. She makes everyone feel like family but was still strong in her professionalism helping me dictate family photos the way I had planned on my wedding day. She was excellent with communication over the past 3 years, had a very detailed day of schedule ready, sought feedback from our engagement shoot to better our wedding day experience (we had no negative feedback!) and overall was the easiest vendor to work with. My wedding was in California with a three hour time difference, heat in the 90’s and a long full day event but Jill and her 2nd shooter (her mom who was the absolute sweetest) captured every moment I could have hoped for. The experience you’ll get with Jill is only matched by the product she produces and I couldn’t recommend her enough -

We used Jill for our Engagement photos, Bridal Portraits, Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding photos and WOW, where do I even begin?! Jill and her Mom (second photographer) are absolutely amazing at what they do and know how to take charge when needed (bridal party of 22 can be hard to manage) to capture our Wedding Day so beautifully and elegantly! They make you feel so special and helped to keep the mood fun and lighthearted. It rained on our Wedding Day but that didn't stop Jill from getting the most beautiful and romantic pictures I could have ever dreamed of! They went absolutely above and beyond and captured the entire day from start to finish and have an incredible attention to details. Oh and the best part....Jill gave me a "sneak peak" album of 200+ pictures the day after our wedding!!! Talk about customer service...WOW! I was absolutely blown away at how quickly she was able to turn those around and we got to relive our special day all over again while on our honeymoon. If you need a photographer for your wedding, stop looking and book with Jill ASAP! She is hands down, one of the best out there. We will cherish every single one of our photos for the rest of our lives, they are so beautiful and I'm so glad Jill & her Mom were there to capture our special day. -

Hiring Jillian Knight Photography was the single best thing I did for my wedding. From start to finish she is incredible to work with, SO TALENTED, and her attention to detail is unmatched. I have never in my life received so many compliments on photos from people I talk to on a normal basis and people I haven't spoken to in years as I did on our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and our wedding photos. Unbelievable photographer with amazing vision!
I had the immense honor of having Jill photograph my wedding this weekend. She is more than professional, she really connects with couples and makes the whole experience more FUN! People have been going on and on about the photography from this weekend, and with good reason! I never could have imagined they could turn out this beautifully and I have Jill to thank. I loved having her there for the whole weekend package- it is such a blessing to be able to reminisce on not only the wedding night, but all of the family, fun, and friends from the entire weekend. Stop what you are doing and hire Jillian Knight! This girl knows her stuff! I'll be honest, my husband and I were dreading engagement photos. We figured we would be awkward, not know how to stand, look fake mushy gushy. Well, Jill made all those worries disappear. She keeps things light, fun, and guides you though every movement step by step. By the time our rehearsal dinner rolled around and she took some shots of us (YES, that's right, she comes to your rehearsal to snap pics!), we were totally at ease. She has a great turn around time and my friends/family were ooo-ing and ahh-ing at our wedding photos in a few short days. Oh and the pictures? They were AH-mazing. So many emotions captured so beautifully. I am thankful that we will have these forever to look back on. Love you Jill!!! -

We used Jillian to take pictures for our little ones first birthday. So glad I found her! Pictures turned out beautiful. My baby boy is not an easy kid already but was having a cranky day due to teething and Jillian was so wonderful and understanding. She was flexible and did everything she could to make him comfortable and laugh. We were able to get some smiles out of him thanks to her. Wish I had found her when I got married. The quality and style looks so timeless. I will definitely be reaching out to Jillian for other family milestones. -

FANTASTIC! Start to finish
Jill did both our maternity and newborn shoots. If I had known her earlier, I would have (without a doubt) had her do our wedding and engagement too. She's THAT good!! From start to finish, during the planning through delivery of our photos, the whole process was seamless and she was so accommodating. Not to mention the pictures are better than I ever imagined they could be. For whatever you are looking for, you will not regret working with Jill!!! :) She is a true rockstar. -
