To the littlest detail and her careful attention to her craft she was always able to deliver the kind of photos we asked for - which were night/sunset photos. Jenny flew to Vancouver BC to take our Chinese tea ceremony photos and she did not disappoint!! We had a very limited schedule but she made it work. Five years ago, my sister Jenny captured one of the most important days of our lives, and we’re still in awe of the incredible work she did. Looking back at our wedding photos, we’re reminded of how beautifully she preserved every emotion and special moment of that day. Her talent for finding the perfect angles and candid shots is evident in every photo. Even after all this time, her images feel timeless and evoke the same joy we felt on our wedding day. Jenny Thai was non-negotiable from the moment we started wedding planning. We loved Jenny’s work from the start, and also our close friend also hired Jenny for his wedding – so we knew we wanted to hire her. Even though she’s from San Diego (wedding venue was in LA), we wanted Jenny to capture our wedding.

From our intro zoom to final zoom meeting until the wedding day, the communication was seamless. She was very also very patient and flexible with us as we had to change our wedding date.

During the wedding day, everything was smooth and organized and she followed the timeline perfectly. She and her team made sure to accommodate all the photo list we gave her without us feeling rushed. The team also hyped me so much during the wedding prep photos as I am quite awkward with posing. She made me and my husband, and wedding party feel very comfortable in front of the camera with her directions and fun and friendly vibe.

The final photos that were delivered are SOO AMAZING!! We LOVED every photo – they really captured our emotions and special moments during the wedding day. Jenny Thai exceeded our expectations.

We were extremely fortunate and happy to have Jenny photograph our wedding and tea ceremony! She is the consummate professional who is very talented at capturing those special moments and interactions that make each wedding photo memorable. Jenny is such a down-to-earth person that she made us feel at ease when taking our photos. There were many times she made us laugh during the photo shoot to the point where it felt like we were interacting with a close friend. This of course resulted in fantastic photos capturing the natural chemistry between me and my wife. We were pleasantly surprised when Jenny sent over our final edited photos much faster than anticipated. I can go on for days about how amazing Jenny is! I have never felt very photogenic and I have to be the world's worst subject of taking photos in day to day life, so finding the right photographer for my wedding was on the top of my wish list. I have known Jenny's work for years, as my friends have booked her for weddings, engagement photos, and just for fun photo shoots. So I knew how wonderful she was from those who have hired her before, but holy crap being the one needing her services... I knew she was amazing and my experience was that and beyond! Not only are you going to have amazing photos, but who she is as a person takes the experience to a whole other level. She is so sweet and will make you feel absolutely gorgeous during her sessions. She has such an eye for her direction and her shots and knows exactly what she wants to do. Jenny has such an ability to make you feel so comfortable and will be your ultimate hype girl, making you feel so good throughout the process. She was also so helpful at compiling timelines and had such wonderful ideas about themes, styles, and positioning of the photos. Man, when it comes to photos, I've never been really that interested/invested. Jenny changed everything! She made the photoshoot very interactive and engaging for someone like me. It was great to see that she really tries to work with you and your personality to make a picture feel natural and personable. She gave us direction on how to position our faces and bodies, but at the same time heard and incorporated some of our suggestions to make the photoshoot feel like it was ours. It made our engagement photoshoot fly by so quickly because we were having so much fun! The crazy part is that she did all this while being 7 months pregnant! You really can see the commitment she has to her clients!

Jenny is one of the most amazing photographers we’ve had the pleasure of working with! She is very talented, fun, down-to-earth, knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of a camera, and will go the distance (read: same-day in and out engagement shoot trip, lying in the grass for different wedding portrait angles). We booked her for our wedding through our day-of coordinator, and we’re happy we got that introduction. Our package included an engagement session, and that was the first time we met Jenny in person. She flew up from San Diego that day just for us, so we literally spent her whole trip with her. Jenny was very easy to get along with; it didn’t feel like we were just meeting her. We ended up doing a mini photography tour of San Francisco, adding on different locations as we went. The session was fun, and we couldn’t wait to work with her for the wedding.

On our wedding day, Jenny was just as fun and easy to work with, and shared lots of tips and poses for the wedding party. We had a packed timeline and she was able to go with the flow as things took longer than usual. She even got some amazing drone shots and video snippets, and sent us a quick drone video edit the very next day. Then she further surprised us by sending a bunch of sneak peek photos just a few days later! All the photos looked great and we loved going through them. We’ve gotten all our wedding photos back now, and they are all so beautiful. I actually teared up going through them. And there are so many photos too. It’ll take us a while to look at them all in detail and select photos for albums and prints, which will be fun! Overall, we would highly recommend Jenny for wedding photos or really, any other photos (she does more than just wedding photos) - she knows how to capture your good side. Definitely go with Jenny if you want some amazing golden hour photos!

Jenny and her team are amazing! The quality of her pictures is top notch! She's very quick to respond, knowledgable, and friendly. We did an engagement session with her first, and then, our wedding pictures. She worked very well with our videographer, Ryan Films SD, and she was able to capture some amazing shots! We got some surprise wedding teaser pictures and it was like we were reliving the day all over again. Jenny and her team were very slick throughout the ceremony and reception that it almost seemed as if they weren't there, which is what my husband and I wanted. We wanted the day as candid as possible with the least amount of posed shots and Jenny delivered! She is so fun and nice to work with and I would recommend her to all my friends and family. :]
