Green Gables Estate is a delightful wedding venue located in San Marcos, California. This completely private, secluded, historic venue opens exclusively for your ceremony and reception. The estate is host to one wedding per day.

Facilities and Capacity

High on a breezy hilltop, as you walk up the garden path through the historic forest, you’ll step into this enchanting secluded wonderland. In the shade of its giant turn-of-the-century forest, this landmark garden estate is surrounded by ivy covered arbors, rose gardens, trickling fountains, unique statutory, and thousands of twinkle lights throughout.

When you enter the grand, multi-story wedding parlor, you will be awestruck by the 30 ft. cathedral ceilings, full length mirrors, eclectic blend of furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer natural lighting, perfect for photos. This impressive bridal suite accommodates even the largest bridal parties.

This exclusive Gentlemen's Speakeasy is furnished with comfortable leather seating, handcrafted specialty light fixtures and unique brass decorative elements. A second hidden entry door leads to a dimly-lit room with a sleek wooden bar. This private, clandestine space is specifically designed for your wedding party to enjoy, relax and unwind.

Choose from three outdoor ceremony sites. Each site is shaded for the comfort of you and your guests. Say “I do” beneath the trunk of the bentwood landmark tree with the forest as your backdrop.Or, you can start your life together on the steps of this historic house. At your first kiss, the bell will ring in the bell tower. Finally, the open-air, natural setting is the perfect option for the DIY couple. Choose an in-house arch or bring your own unique backdrop or huppah.

Guest table options include round or banquet style seating with white full-length linen draped to the floor. Choose from elegant white chivari chairs, fruitwood chivari chairs or other options à la cart. Ceremony seating is set in the shade of the historic gardens. Choose from 38 perfect color cloth napkin choices to complement your design theme and tablescape. Other color fabric upgrades available to rent à la carte. Choose from various candelabras, tall rustic candle holders, lily bowls, cylinder vases, shepherds hooks, glass votive holders, table number stands, artisan-inspired ivory candle cages, or provide your own. For additional pieces, shop from the one-of-a-kind décor catalog full of design items that you may rent à la carte in the historic gardens.

Our proven team of wedding professionals will provide a superlative level of coordination and support to assist you through the wedding planning process, rehearsal and your wedding day.

Our award-winning Chef celebrates three decades of exceptional culinary expertise. Former sous-chef for the Hotel del Coronado and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. You’re invited to enjoy a culinary celebration where you will handcraft your custom menu and delight in Chef’s savory pairings. Craft your menu by pairing two gourmet classic entrées, two accompaniments, and your choice of a flavorful variety of crisp leafy green salads. Served with fresh-baked artisan breads and specialty butters. For social or cocktail hour, select four classic hors d'oeuvres. Upgrades available.

Absolutely Amazing!

Green Gables is absolutely breathtaking on its own and it includes everything that you will need for your wedding.
Marissa, (our coordinator provided via the venue), helped us through the planning process and made everything so smooth and simple.

Whimsical Fairytale Venue

I'm delighted to share my enchanting experience at this whimsical fairytale wedding venue! From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I felt transported into a storybook world. Green Gables intricate architecture and lush gardens created a truly magical atmosphere that perfectly complemented our fairytale themed wedding. Her honest and genuine expertise made our fairytale wedding dream come true! I’m all about communication with understanding and Marissa delivered as she continued to reach out with great information so we were always on the same page leading up to our big day! Beautiful Venue and Amazing Staff!

We did a tour of Twin Oaks and Green Gables (both owned by Trademark Venues). The moment we started the tour, we felt like the staff knew what they were doing. We felt at ease with the process and stunned by the beauty of both venues. We ended up choosing Green Gables for its beautiful ceremony grounds under the big pepper tree. We also felt it was a fair price for what they offered. Definitely recommend!
